I've only seen a few I'd give 9 or 10 to and even fewer I've actually fucked to confirm their 9 or 10 status. There is nothing wrong with searching for the best available, so I follow you there.

Personally I think you'll find better quality in salons than tochkas. Tochka girls are rarely above 7 IMO, the only advantage with them being that they are there for the whole night (if you even want that) and that they generally let you do just about anything you want to them. Take that last statement for what it is worth. It isn't all positive if you know what I mean. That said, I haven't tochka'ed in a couple of years so I don't know what today's scene is like so my info isn't current. Nothing would lead me to believe that the quality has gone up however. The best tochka girls used to be Ukrainian and Moldovan and they were reduced in numbers a couple years back by new legislation.

Strav is right though... make plans and do research, but it isn't like ordering from a menu. Things will always be different than you expect... sometimes better, sometimes worse.

Pizdyets is right as well... sextalk.ru (the Russian guys' forum) contains much more info than this one on all aspects of the pro game.

Oh my god, you're right, in Italy that's the same, since the same new law, Ukrainians and Russians have disappeared, and maybe I met one of the nicest and sex-extremest tochkas, near Venice, maybe one of the last real tochka (the ultimate tochka?), therefore I have always great expectations.

However, which are the streets you went some years ago? Also by PM.

Thing is, tochkas are mobile, meaning they weren't always in the same place. And these Prospekt "streets" I mention are more like highways through town, sometimes 20-30km long.

The best way to find them IMO is to ask one of the asshole taxi drivers to look for one for you. They usually have the best idea where... and even they have to search for a while sometimes.

Yaroslavskoe Shosse is a big hunting ground too. I'm not big on tochki in general, but hit several there with partners looking to score (and by and large, they were satisfied with their girls though I thought they were overpriced).

You will need to find a taxi driver who knows the scene. You can do this by holding your hand out and taking chances, or going with a member of the taxi mafia outside major clubs. If you're alone, I'd actual suggest the former as you'll be less likely to be rolled (ie ripped off). They will drive to a particular avenue on the outskirts of Moscow and start searching for "lookout girls". The girls will then direct your driver to the tochka. It's often behind a warehouse, on the edge of some woods, in an abandoned parking lot... I even saw a lineup up at a truck stop! And you will need to pay your taxi driver. The nights I went out, we usually hit 3-4 tochki in a 90 minute period (including roundtrip from downtown). That translated to an average of 1500 rubles, including a bonus for avoiding militsia. I probably could have negotiated less, but I wasn't paying...

I'm probably repeating what's been written in this forum a dozen times, so will stop now and let you just RTFF...

* Does anyone know whether this hotel has working girls at the bar / lobby as I have seen in other Moscow hotels?

* Or, is it a stupid question, and do all Moscow hotel have these?

If the answer is no to both questions, can soeone suggests other Central Moscow hotels "working girls equipped"?

Hotel girls are usually pretty expensive and focus on ST. Not all hotels will have them. For example, I've never seen them in any of the Marriotts here. But Hyatt, Sheraton, National, Ritz, Swissotel, Golden Ring (as well as most non-Western chain hotels) have them. Not sure about Baltschug - it's been a long time since I hung out in the lobby there. I usually meet guests at GQ bar next door...

I did however hear from someone that Marriott specifically forbid them because guests (mostly American women) had complained.

A thought: If you are willing to pay lobby girl prices and are staying in a 5-star hotel, why not just go to Night Flight? The price level will be the same, you'll have more to choose from and all 5-star hotels let you bring your ho back to your room.

Wouldn't you know it... only last night an American woman next to me in a Chinese restaurant almost tore the waiter apart with her teeth. His crime was to have served her a Mei Kwei Lu in on of the habitual glasses with a picture of a naked man on the bottom. "Take away this FILTH!!!", she bellowed. Several people tried to explain to her that this is totally normal here in Paris, but to no avail. She found it offensive and - therefore and for that reason - it was offensive. But getting back to the subject...

It is probably the decision of the shift manager.

As I said, at the Marriott Courtyard I saw one just a couple weeks back in the Roadhouse bar there and in the past I've seen them in the Marriott Tverskaya as well as the Marriott Grand. The girls were very very low key however though.

Thanks Doc - I was going to mention the same thing. But I have to admit there is a certain allure to picking up a girl in your hotel. It's the p4p variant of the minibar. You know you could find far better and cheaper booze, and the corner liquor store isn't far away, but after a long day's work, it's sometimes hard to muster the energy to even leave the hotel.

On more than one occassion I've been in the hotel to just "lay down for an hour" before going out and didn't regain consciousness until morning, especially if I'd been primed with drinks at a business dinner.
