No language issue at all. There are so many wonderful saunas in Macau!
1. Is language an issue at saunas if I only speak English?
2. What is advantage saunas have over Darling 1? Excluding the white girls, at Darling 1 girls can cost between 2000-3500 HKD. At saunas it sounds like girls cost about the same, but there's also at least the 1500 HKD entrance fee too.
No language issue at all. There are so many wonderful saunas in Macau!
Any Helpful Hints on Visiting Sauna
I will be in SE Asia in December visiting KL, Singapore and Hong Kong. I will be travelling with my Mrs of 11 years. During my last marriage I dd some hobbying as my ex was a bit of *****. But for the last decade I have tried be a good and faithful spouse. But as the Mrs went through the change and lost some interest over the last few years my mind seems to wander more and more. But I guess the real impetus is that I turned 70 last year and realize I only have so many years left to experience life.
Well anyway we plan to be in HK for NYE but then the Mrs. Will head off to Shenzhen to visit her family for a week. I will have a few free days before I actually have to be back in US to pick her up at airport. I have yet to plot my own path back to the US. I was contemplating flying back through Frankfurt and making a pit stop at an FKK (probably Sharks in Damstadt). I have never been to FKK and would really like to add that experience to the bucket list.
Since I was going to be in HK and was a short ferry ride from Macau I dropped into the forum here out of curiosity. It was interesting reading. First I am a little shocked at some of the pricing at the saunas but as several have commented Macau is not for the light of wallet. While I am shocked at these prices I am probably equally as surprised that there are not a bunch of punters crying bloody murder that anybody would pay these prices. I am an infrequent visitor to this website but whenever I drop in (maybe once or twice a year) the common theme invariably is that prices are going up, service is going down and anybody willing to pay these higher, outrageous prices is ruining the hobby for everybody else. And these constant complaints are found even for lower cost venues like Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Colombia, Brazil or wherever. But I guess the whiners are frequenting those subforums which is why this particular forum is not getting much traffic.
What attracted me here was the glowing reports of the quality and the variety of the women inhabiting the Macau saunas. I remember watching several Youtube videos taken inside some of the more popular saunas and marveling at the lineups of women – mostly Asian and mostly in gowns or party dresses. I was salivating. But most of these videos are quite old now 8-10 years. But these videos seem to be in keeping with the more recent descriptions I read here. So I am now contemplating forgetting the FKK trip and spending a day or two in Macau after leaving the Mrs.
I have a few questions.
For any of you who have both been to a Macau Sauna and an FKK I am curious how would you compare the experience? I am interested how would you compare cost and value. But also how do you compare the experience in terms of just hanging out and taking in the ambiance surrounded by attractive women.
I was particularly intrigued by the thigh massage experience. It sounds like something I might enjoy. But it also sounds like it might be very difficult for the recipient not to lose control and finish prematurely. Just curious as to those who have experienced this how did you manage to maintain control.
From what I gather it is possible to possible to run up your tab and just put your visit on a credit card. So no need to have significant cash on hand. Is this correct.
If I make this trip I would really like to spend as much time in the spa as possible – even catch some z's if I can. Is there a sauna that somebody might recommend where you might be able to just sleep somewhere.
Finally, I will probably be there Jan 1 and 2. Just wondering if this is likely to be a very busy time at the sauna. Any thoughts on timing?
Thanks in advance for any helpful info.
