Well I have stayed mainly at the marriot because secure and location. There are some cheaper hotels but I like to spend a little more and feel good where I am at. If you want cheap and really close to everything check out eddies hotel it is within walking distance and ok for the cash. The diner in the hotel is pretty good also. I might be able to set up someone to show you around also but I will do some checking. I go to cebu about every 4 months.
I agree with the above but also check out the Parklane. I tend to stay Marriott if the price is right, meet the girl at Ayala and a 3 minute walk to the bedroom :D
Marco Polo is nice but a bit of a distance but depends on your budget....

Hot Rod
Other points in Cebu: Black Hole - gone. Is now called Hot Rod - A Gentleman's Club. Never asked how much bar fine is. The old mamasan is gone. Floor manager is gay, I call him "Tom Cruise". Is an OK "guy". Papillon has beauties, but overpriced at 2K barfine. Thunderdome remains way overpriced at 4K barfine, which includes the girl, but of course the bar has your money regardless of how shitty the girl is.
Since I was in Hot Rods the other night I asked the mamasan about the barfine. She told me it was the cost of three lady drinks plus the regular barfine, which when she added it up was around 2200P if my memory serves me right. I just kind of laughed when she told me. Some good lookers there even after midnight but I was just window shopping since my FH GF took good care of me all day for the cost of a few taxi rides and a meal at Jolibee.

Before you BF
Am heading to Cebu soon. In addition to the barfine, what are the current expectations for a tip for ST/LT?
You've probably read it already, but BEFORE you barfine, pls. ask the following questions (if it is important to you): 1) when was your menstruation? 2) do you have baby? 3) IF I barfine you, what time do you have to leave? 4) do you give blowjob? Plus, any other questions that suit you. The idea is to have clear expectations for both you and her. That being said, find out if the barfine includes the girl already, or is just the barfine, and the girl is separate. If the girl is separate, negotiate the price before you leave the bar. Then, get the cell phone of the mamasan! Tell her this is if the girl runs away. (or does not perform, etc.). OK, all that is covered. Now, the tip is up to you. Chances are, if the girl is new, she won't ask for a tip. If she has had a couple barfines and is spoiled already, she will probably ask for a tip. 500p is a lot of money in Cebu. Tips are never discussed in negotiations. Anyway, that's my 2pesos worth.

Post BF expectations
Am heading to Cebu soon. In addition to the barfine, what are the current expectations for a tip for ST/LT?
Cebu Pacific,
Mr. Hawaii gave some things to consider before barfining. Personally, I won't go that far, but I totally understand why he is recommending it. I think such talk is not necessarily that big of a deal at such a cost, but if I was barfining a woman from like Burgos in Makati, Manila or maybe those places that the barfine is 4000 I'd ask.
In regards to my recent experiences in Cebu, I barfined from Vikings and Hot Rod where the barfine was 1700. As mentioned earlier, the bar kept 700 and the woman got 1000 from it. I never talked about what I would give them in the morning except I wanted them to stay long time. They all did. Some women will scoff at the thought of a long time, and only do short times. In the morning, I gave them what I felt was appropriate which was usually 500 pesos. The women never looked at the money and were all willing to go again.
Keep in mind, the barfine situation in Cebu is totally different than say Angeles, where the average barfine in different bars and how they are split is about the same. In Cebu, different clubs, different barfines, different splits. You kind of have to figure out what's appropriate.

It is a nice clean club and has nice couches and you don't feel so closed in.
I was with a buddy and we had six ladies sitting with us (we were the only customers) and I had just ordered a second round of drinks. As soon as I ordered the drinks, four Koreans walked in the bar and took a seat across the room from us. The mamasan then called for a line up of all the girls for the Koreans. She came over to our table and told our girls to go line up. I pulled the bullshit flag! I asked her what she was doing...a line up for the new customers??? WTF??? I told her that I already purchased a round of drinks for the six girls, so they were busy here and she replied, sorry 100% line up. I laughed and told her, no problem, cancel my round of drinks and give me the check. She was like, no it is okay, they can stay.
I told her no way was I staying in there. That is very bad business! I paid my tab (1100P) and the gay stopped me on the way out and asked me why we were leaving. I told him that I don't play her game and I won't go be coming back to Hot Rods.

Mr Hawaii and KeyMaster,
Thanks for the info. Not to worry, I'm not a noob in the Philippine monger scene. Just have never been to Cebu and wondered what their rules were.
My approach with the girls is a little different. I don't like to interrogate them or be too direct. I have casual conversation and get a feel for what the girl is about. I can usually spot the starfish or the runner. And somehow I feel that this more laid back approach yields a better experience. Because although it is a business proposition, we are on much friendlier and intimate terms when it comes to the deed.

I agree if you negotiate it like a business deal then that is what you will get......a business deal !!!!! No wonder some of these guys have such bad experiences. Relax and just enjoy the experience.

Hot Rods
I have been there a several times. When I asked for the barfine they told me 1700. But I am not surpriced that they also asked a ladydring or 2 for thee girl. We must know, the new owner of the old BalckHole and new HotRods is the same as the one in Temptation and in this establisement it is the rule you have to buy 2 ladyes drinks. Thats the reason why I don't go anymore there. Up to now I did not barfine in hotrods and I guess I will also not turn back there ecoz one of the girls "cleaned her Lipstick" on my dress. When I told it to the mama sun she said you in a bar what you want.

Questions for the girls
(Emale and Cebu Pacific) I don't just ask the questions as listed in my report; I just shortened the list of topics for report purposes. I do the same as most "intelligent" people; that is, work in the questions around general conversation, usually after I have bought them a drink. To just rattle off interrogations like I listed would not be cool. But then again, most guys know this. But for the newbies, those are the topics most guys want to cover. How they do it is up to them. Good hunting.

Phils? Why?
After having been to the Phils and after having spent time in both Angeles and Manila, I don't understand why mongers who have a choice prefer it over Thailand. There's no comparison in my opinion. Thailand wins hands down!
The only thing good about the Phils, in my experience was that the flight was shorter. The area is shitty. The girls are way over priced as are the hotels. Manila is full of beggars and robbers. The girls aren't nearly as good looking as the Thai girls. The police are on the take. The cab drivers try to rip you off right and left. The country is way way poorer than Thailand.
What am I missing?
(Emale and Cebu Pacific) But for the newbies, those are the topics most guys want to cover. How they do it is up to them. Good hunting.
Got it. But just one question cuz it has never happened to me yet. But when I used to be married, my wife used to be pretty wild in bed when she was having her period and I had no problems doing it - even if it was a tad messy. Are the pinays unlikely to bed you if they are having their period for some cultural reason or were you just referring to the menstrual thing being used as an excuse to run? Would like to know, cuz I'd have no problem taking a girl even if she's having a period - as long as she does the deed.
