Well said, Crypton. We all look forward to reading your detailed, illustrated and up-to-date report tomorrow.
You won't get that, of course. Because I was reading this section to see if DR is worth visiting. As I said, I still don't know the answer to that question because of lack of many reports. At leas in the first 8 pages!!
-
I had to scroll back 7 or 8 pages to see even a single report. Lot of bullshit discussion about existentialism, etc. Totally irrelevant. When we tell people RTFF, at least there should be something to read!! I learned nothing about DR mongering after spending half hour.
The reason for this is that, most of us are so old that, even if we remember, how to do "it" with a woman, we cannot remember why. We prefer talking BS. By the way, there is a nice report from PuntingGeorge on page three.
No way that is true. All those women are happy to be in the wonderful paradise that is known as Sosua. Why are they trying to make it look bad?
When we use the term "paradise" in a monger's forum, like, say, Sosua Reports, we are usually talking about a "mongers" paradise Mr. E, not a cultural or architectural paradise.
And see all those hundreds of smiling putas looking for a date? Hell, they've borrowed, stolen, parked the kids with Mama, hitched a ride just to get there!
Think they aren't happy to be there? You should see the look on my long time GF's face after a 10 hour bus ride!
YMMV

I have had no experience with the drug culture in the DR., despite 8 years of extended stays with local families.
But, I'm sure it is there, just like it is in your average NA city.
But I have no connection to it here at home either, so I'm no expert.
You won't get that, of course. Because I was reading this section to see if DR is worth visiting. As I said, I still don't know the answer to that question because of lack of many reports. At leas in the first 8 pages!!
At Crypton Hello, just popped in here and I can see you are looking for reports. I am not sure how much you know of the. Are so excuse me if anything is patronizing.
I was in the. Are for 5 weeks this year, Lets just say it was a holiday of my lifetime and I originally planned just 12 days, it depends what type of girls you are looking for. What you are used to and who you are as a person.
I am a guy with very high standards. There are many good looking women (7's, 8's and 9's in that country that will cook, clean, or just give you a good time, you run the show. Just know that not every girl is a good girl some are Americanized.
Sosua and Punta Cana had talent, all types, Elegant Halle Berry types, super bodies, hood rats and all in between. You can set it up how you want, if you want to chill with the Halle berry chic for a weekend can do that. If you want to sport smash and smash 15 chics in a week you can do that, and the woman will be very good quality, its known as mini Brazil, (I haven't been Brazil I must say though).
If your into girls with big booties that's out there. I was surprised how accessible the 8's and 9's were, good looking woman.
At first when you go its a culture shock (you will have to tell me where you have mongered before as you may know how it is already). In London where I'm from the 8's and 9's act a certain way because they are not in abundance. For that matter the 6's and 7's in London act a way also.
In the. Are most of the girls have that cater to you mentality, they put you on a pedistol, its your holiday and they know that you bring the money. Only 1 girl had an attitude every other girl I met was cool and a few went above and beyond.
Sosua is a lot of fun, the old timers say the quality is no way as good as it used to be, and they may be right. But you can still get 8's if you know where to look.
Punta Cana chics are more expensive unless you know what your doing or how to move, harder to see it going. Sosua is point and click.
There is a dedicated forum for Sosua Google it.
The 8's and 9's brown skin honeys that you want in Miami or Vegas that you can't get at, well you can smash in the. Are for $50.
I'm not going to lie and say there was an abundance of 9's or 9.5's, because I didn't see many of those, they are probably on the island getting smashed by the politicians, musicians and German / Canadian business guys. But the more time you spend there the more you see the lay of the land and the more your phone book grows. Within 2 weeks your phone book will look like a rappers phone book, hot chics are all over the island.
My cab driver in Punta Cana put me on to some high quality chics, but the cabbie take a commission so bare that in mind. Its better if you meet the chic direct in a bar. But if you don't know the brothels then your going to need to ask a driver. Sosua has some gems.
One think I had to do was put a mental filter, because there is so many qualified chics, I was basically saying I'm not going to smash anything below a 7. If you don't have a filter you will blow your money as there is P4P everywhere in Sosua. And in many hotspots in the island.
A bit all over the place, and this isn't exactly a report but if you want to know anything feel free to ask.

Evidently, an American citizen was shooting a 22 year old Dominicana up with heroin and cocaine and making her sell ass in Sosua and make porno movies. This last time he shot her up with too much and she died.

Did you see the look on the dead girl's face?
You are a very prejudiced person.
The majority of prostitutes in Sosua are not Haitian (unfortunately, in my opinion, LOL). Maybe 25%?
We all have our prejudices here, but I'm not a hypocrite, and I'm not politically correct. I'm here to state my views and opinions bluntly and I won't criticize you for doing the same. You seem very "triggered" by my comments however, and are overly defensive when it comes to Haitians. Tell me, where exactly did you pull those numbers from? I'm sure the percentage of Haitian prostitutes is higher than 25%, even if you only include the Haitians that have recently migrated from Haiti. Last time I visited Sosua many of the street-walkers there had a noticeable Kreyol accent, same thing in Boca Chica. According to this 2016 article 60% of the prostitutes in Sosua are Haitian nationals.
But you are correct when you add "or mixed with Haitian blood". Because 95% of the Dominican population is "mixed with Haitian blood"...
African ancestry in Dominicans came via the slaves that where imported there centuries ago, not from Cocolos or Haitians. Your knowledge of this country is very limited, even though you've been here for so long. In one of your other comments you metioned that Trujillo was the president of Haiti, LOL so I will take anything you say with a grain of salt.
Not sure what you mean by "authentic" Dominican ancestry...
It's pretty simple, an authentic Dominican is someone who doesn't have recent Haitian ancestry and doesn't speak with a Kreyol creole accent like the majority of prostitutes you find in Sosua. The original Dominicans where a Mestizo population who mixed with the African slaves creating a multi-racial population like in Brazil, Cuba, Puerto Rico, etc. Then you had the Afro-Caribbean Cocolos who came to the island and increased the African percentage, they also served as kind of a buffer ethnic group between the Dominicans and Haitians, so you had many Cocolos who mixed with Dominicans and Haitians, whereas direct mixture between Haitians and Dominicans was less common. Though you had some exceptions like Trujillo, for example, but he descends from upper-class mulatto Haitians, not the typical African looking types. So I would say the most "authentic" Dominicans are those that retain the genetic and cultural characteristics of the founder population, and that would be the central Cibaenos, they're a light-skin triracial population that have retained the highest percentage of European colonial and native Taino ancestry in the island. In DR you basically have 3 main groups: Cibaenos, Cocolos, and Hatianos.
As for what you call "beautiful girls", we all have different preferences. If you think the whiter the better, you should be visiting the Ukraine, Russia or Scandinavia. Why compromise with mixed-ancestry dominicanas?...
I like Latina, Mulatta, and Mediterranean looking women with nice big tits and asses. What makes you think I prefer them simply for their "whiter" appearance? We have plenty of Slavic women in New York, and I prefer the Dominicanas here. I notice in DR the lighter-skin women in the Central Cibao region tend to have better bodies than the blacker looking chicas in Sosua for some reason. So not only are they lighter and have prettier faces, but they also look taller, fitter, with insane hip to waist ratios. Like you're never going to find an Amelia Vega looking chica in Sosua, whereas I've been in some Cibao towns where literally every other girl had her phenotype.

As I said, I still don't know the answer to that question because of lack of many reports. At leas in the first 8 pages!!
I have plenty of recent, substantive reports. But they are in the Tijuana forums. I was last in Sosua over 2 years ago. I was reading this forum because I like to follow the comings and goings of all the places I have been in the past, and may visit in the future, and Sosua, along with many other venues fits that description. The fact for me personally, though, is that with the Mexican Peso cratered by Trump's election, and me living a half hour's drive from Tijuana, I can't rationalize going anywhere else at the moment. But I still got engaged in the discussions with other punters who were posting stuff on this forum. I apologize if the banter between punters from all over the place made your experience on this Sosua forum so onerous. But seriously, if you can't stand to get into a bit of a friendly dialog with other gents of similar interest, I feel bad for you.
Oh, and BTW, PuntingGeorge's substantive post which Nordico referred to has now been pushed to the top of the 4th page.

A bit all over the place, and this isn't exactly a report but if you want to know anything feel free to ask.
You and I share the same view of Sosua.
Just about everybody I talk to about it generally agrees. That is why it draws mongers by the plane load, and why many become expats, and wife up locally. There are many well heeled NA and European businessmen who have their choice back at home, FKK clubs, high end hookers, who wife up with a local, or just prefer to keep a local concubine or two.
They keep coming back.
That tells you something about the local ladies.
The ones that only see thieves, drug dealers, and drugged up putas, and scam artists, or believe that Sosua is dead, should move on.
Or look in the mirror :)

It would not take you half an hour to identify which posts were trip reports and which were general discussion.
A quick 5-minute look at your posting history reveals that you have traveled to almost every major mongering spot in the world over the course of several years and have great expertise in mongering, and have written hundreds of posts on ISG and yet only now are you trying to find out for the first time whether you would like to visit the DR, which is one of the most written about destinations covered on ISG.
Quite honestly I doubt whether you would like it, otherwise you would already have been to the DR long ago.
I lived in the Sosua area for a few years and I speak a bit of basic Kreyol, and in my opinion the percentage of hookers in the area who are Haitians is probably less than 25% unless there has been a substantial increase in the last few months.
I would not give much credence to the article you quote, because politicians and law enforcement in the DR make up numbers to advance political agendas and prejudices. Most Dominican politicians will say that 99% of all types of crime in the DR is down to Haitians and any time a serious crime is committed, the first thing is to round up and lynch a few Haitians. (OK, exaggeration, but not much.).
