Like in any group, certain people can organize the rest into action (leadership qualities). This girl can help you sort out and find other "performers". You tell her what you want. I've been in Rio in June-Aug 2-3 times and don't remember serious raining. I do remember pleasant non-sweltering temps and I still enjoyed the beach. Evenings could be a little breezy, though, so I remember wearing a light shirt over a tee a couple of times. But again, it's just my experience.

There is no reason to be paranoid in any Termas in Rio. They won't poison your drink. Also a passport is not needed. That ID BS is just for a few Centro buildings.

One more thing about 4 x4. Keep your receipt at the end to give to the guy outside.

Coming from northern England and being pale, I actually prefer the cooler weather.

Just got back from my favorite country. Took a quick side trip to Curitiba which I will write about in that section. I didn't visit any prives this trip, just termas.
