![/QUOTE]It can cost a further 1000THB or more from Patong to Phuket town so it may not be worth it if you are in Patong, just stay there and go to Christins as it works out cheaper. Also there are more choices at Chritines. Bear in mind the taxi drivers may also try and take you somewhere else instead of Katherine's, particularly if they are not getting commission so this is more headache. One of my mates had this problem and the taxi driver took him elsewhere and wouldn't take him to Katerines.
Also if the taxi driver does take you there, more than likely you will pay very high price as the driver wants commission.
The choice at Katherines is severly restricted with less than a dozen girls there. I would however recommend Angle's next door as there is more choice and lower prices!
Also if you are looking for Russian they are available for aroun 3000 THB an hour, but dont expect as good service as Russia or London ! They are also not all Russian more other Eastern Europeans.
There is also much free pussy around if you look a little. This somehow tastes a lot better !

Last time I was in HKT in early September, they had local elections. 2 days of prohibition. No booze sold, all bars closed. I spendt the evening checking the girls at the beach, finally decided for a group of chicks "on their day off". One of them just arrived here and was tought by the rest usefull sentences like "Where you stay?" and "How much you can give me". I was well entertained, got them to shop some beer and had a great evening, not only because I manged to get drunk.
Later I decided to ask that new girl to walk me back to the hotel. We had a great night, even though she didn't really know what to do at first. Despite some may emphasize on quantity and quality of service, for me a unexperienced + TIGHT lady is what I hunt for. :P

Little late getting this out. Had a great time during a recent holiday in Phuket, typically spending the final hours of the night at Taipan. Great staff, great atmosphere, just a great place. Took one of the go-go girls the first night there, was a good time. The thing that was interesting is her going a bit psycho when I was there on subsequent nights and chasing other PYT's. To the point of crying and intimidating the new prey.
A bit of a downer, but in now way will turn me off this place.

Many men try to work within the system by only having one favorite in each bar (so choose wisely). This may not make sense to us but it is a cultural thing.
I am reaching Patong on 24th Dec, Monday for 3 days. If any monger brother is around will love to have a beer or two and exchange some notes.

Not just in this example but in many other ways in their lives. I doubt in a lifetime I will ever figure all of it out.

I claimed that I knew better since I live there and I always pay about 350 bt plus tolls and I said he was trying to scam me. All the way to the airport I was stewing about his route. When we got there, the fare was the same as toll road +- a little.
You know what I said."I am sorry, you were right" and then I laughed about me being crazy and wrong. He laughed and agreed. The moral of the story, I automatically assumed he was scamming me. I jumped to the conclusion. You can tell that he really appreciated me admitting my fault. I gave him the respect he deserved.
I felt like an ass.

and then once i came to the bar and didn't see her, so picked another girl who has seen me there before. my next visit to tilac was terrible as apple wouldn't talk to me. so i said 'what the hell' and picked another cutie who was eyeing me for a while, but when i decided to pay her bar fine and she went to change her clothes, it took a while and the mamasan came back saying that she has her periods and thus she can't go to the hotel with me. in a short while, the girl was back on the dance floor in her 2-piece and i was vexed. thankfully the mamasan was familiar to me [all the mamasan drinks i offered her before suddenly came of use] and she explained to me that apple was 'angry' with me and she wouldn't let any other girls to go with me. i was stunned! and a girl i had bought lady drinks earlier came to me and smiled at me and said in a low voice 'u man, all butterfly'. that's when i got this concept the first time.
thankfully, my goodwill with mamasan helped me and she found me her niece [that's what she said] who was very cute, but looked too young to me, but mamasan assured me she isn't **** and i finally went with her. my visits to tilac after that were okay but apple didn't ever come to me again. so as you can see, it's a sensitive thing to them and i will surely remember it in my future assignments. i have to admit, it was an embarrassing situation for over an hour while this thing got sorted out.
Regarding being a butterfly. I highly recommend finding a bar in which you never BF a woman.
I used to have such a place that I would go to for drinks and entertainment. But then I ruined it by BFing a dirl, them further ruined it by much later BFing a different girl. After that, it became too uncomfortable to visit.
i drove my bike past catherine but i remember reading the place is not good quality / etc. looked like a big place from the outside. can anyone with recent experience recommend a good soapie here like the ones in bkk? i am also reading a post below mentioning kristin mp are they same place? is angel the top mp at the moment? thanks

finally, anyone knows a bike shop in the area of patong? my bike fell and the side metal panel is scraped i have a feeling the shop will charge me arm and a leg if i don't replace it. be careful with these motor bikes lots of drunks cruising around at late hours. at least wear a helmet.
