When helping me decide where to go (Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket) please let me know if there is a significant change in the price for hotel ond women at these locations as this will help with my decision.
Thanks in advanced,
KT2
I did all three of these locations last month and I find Pattaya the best for hotel prices and women. Prices for hotels are right much higher in Phuket and I find that the hotels there are less girl friendly.
I found the selection of girls much better in Pattaya than Phuket. A number of them were killed when the tsunami hit Phuket and others left for safer havens and due to the deminished tourist business for awhile. While the town has recovered I don't think the working girl population has fully recovered. Ladyboys seem to be taking up the slack as I sure saw plenty of them.

Terrorists
I agree there is no need to get into a political or religious discussion here. BKK and south Thailand have been bombed and so have numerous other cities across the globe.
The heathens (especially Westerners) fornicating at NEP would be a nice target for Al Queda or the religious nutjobs that don't mind blowing people up.
Let me start by saying tht I am a long-time senior member who has thoroughly read the every section of the Thailand forum and much of the archives, so please spare me the "RTFF". I just have a few general questions being that this is my first trip to Thailand and I am going solo.
I am going to Thailand mostly for sex. I'm sure I'll explore the city, or beach (depending on where I stay) but mainly will be having fun with the ladies. I plan on taking this trip within the next month. With that said, here are my questions:
1. Is 2 weeks too short of a trip? I've seen many write that to truly experience LOS you should stay for at least a month?
2. I noticed there is only a Hotel thread on Pattaya...why no hotel threads on Bangkok and Phuket? Where is the best information on Bangkok/Phuket hotels located? the general sections?
3. My most difficult decision is deciding where to go? Bangkok, Phuket, or Pattaya? Like I said initially, I am mainly here for the girls. With that said I assume Bangkok would have much to do because it's such a fun city, and the other two locations have beaches and seem a little more touristy (I'll make-up words from time to time). Any input would be greatly appreciated. I do like the idea of a beach, but at the same time the "action" of Bangkok is appealing.
4. Can I buy Xanax without a prescription there? Can I bring xanax if I have it in the prescription bottle but no written prescription? I am very paranoid about bring annything that may be deemed illegal there.
5. Are hotel safes completely secure? I've never traveled overseas and needed to use one and would be concerned that everything I own is in a tiny box in my hotel room.
Any other input on this board or via PM would be greatly appreciated. I will be going within the next month and really look forward to having an adventure. If you have a great reccomendation for a hotel, please let me know, I am looking in the 4 star range, no need ofr kitchen, but like updated modern look and no insects!
Thanks in advanced, and drop me a line if you ever need info on the NJ/Philly scene.
KT2
Greetings KT2,
First, we do have the same interest and reason to go to LOS.
I am a newbie to this and only been in LOS 6 times, mostly 5-10 day’s trips.
And for me that’s enough.
After 5-7 days of rumbling its starts to get on me (age maybe), but everybody is different.
Some get caught by this and try to move here, but for me, fast in, have some fun, and fast out so and don’t loose the grip of the real world (my real world)
Life is not the same after the first trip anyway.
Longer stays would seriously damage my mental health, I think :O
2 weeks, well I suggest that you take an open ticket and rebook if you want to stay longer.
I do think you should skip Phuket and go for Pattaya (jomitien beach) if you want to se the beach.
Pattaya and BKK have everything you look fore and more.
The Hotels I have stayed in Bangkok is (that I would stay again in)
Landmark. Girl friendly and good location and safe in the room.
City Lodge. Girl friendly but take ID, good locations (both of them) and rooms are ok, safe in the room
Grand business inn. On suk soi 11 girl friendly but take picture and id of the girls even if you in the middle of the day fast want to run up to get something and have the girl with you.
Don’t let your girl stand beside you when you check out, the rip out the map with pictures of all the girls that have been with you.
They have a 2 key (one for you and one for the reception) safe in the reception area (big ones) that you have to sign every time you want to open.
I think from a safety matter this is the best so far, but the rooms are not in the same quality as the ones above.
This 3 provides with an internet access in the rooms.
Otherwise, ones (not in the above mention hotels) I managed to mess up the code for the safety box and called the reception, 2 min later a maid came in and fixed that problem for me?
Don’t remember that name of the hotel (suk soi 15 I think) but I won’t stay there again.
But then again, I think that’s the way it works in mostly hotels, I don’t know.
I have never lost anything in LOS but after that I always take 50% in traveller checks, just in case.
I only book fore 1 night in Hotels the first time, just in case there not girl friendly ore some other problems.
In this season it’s no problem with room access.
I will go fore a trip of 8 nights in the end of mars, 4 in Pattaya and 4 in Bangkok.
Well that’s the rough game plan at least.
And I planning to check out some new Hotels in both places.
I report about that then :)

Hi there is a Bangkok hotels thread .
You can do all 3 in two weeks.
I would started off in Bangkok(spend a 2-3 days here) then head by plane to Phuket (many airlines do this run bkk-hkt) then you can relax in Patong has a good sandy beach but the sea can be very strong. Then after relaxing head off to Pattaya by plane (bangkok air only do this run (they are very good)hkt-u-tapao(Pattaya airport) for the remaining time of your Holiday. You can try the soapies gogos hell club/bar etc. Then get a taxi back to the airport in bangkok .
My last trip to BKK was last January 2007 and services, prices, fun was similar than my last trip in May 2006 (probably the girls 5% more, my Hotel cheaper 5%). Anyway, still the best value for my money.
However the latest News here in Europe regarding Political, Economic, Social and Terror issues in Thailand NOW are not the best (?). What is the opinion from the Members of this Forum located there now regarding prices and girl services, shopping, hotels etc? Thanks and regards
You are more likely to get run over than blowen up

day 2 & 3
Day 2 (Wed)
I hit Soi Cowboy at night, around 10pm (i cant get used to this early night starting thing and finish by 1am).. places I went:
- Long Gun: This seemed to be the best in the street on that night.. the girls were completely naked on stage, and "what you see is what you get".. some nice shaven ones, some bush.. all up girls were OK, not bad.. you could find some nice ones. Apart from one waitress who wouldnt leave me alone (ie. playful, but irritating), the staff were OK, not pushy. Had a few drinks and moved on.
- Midnight ??: Can't remember the full name.. had a stack of about 20 Isaan types on the stage in bikinis.. most were around 5 foot. Then 3 much sexier ones came on stage and did some good giration movements etc. So so.
- Cowboy 2: Not bad.. been before.. same set-up with the booths etc. About 15 girls on stage, then moved off and another 10-15 took over.
One took a shining to me and jumped next to me on the booth.. she was kinda cute.. small from Chang Mai. Funny personality, and I ended up BF'ing her (500?) took her around.. she was a very nice little girl, no trouble whatsoever, and even walked back to hotel etc. which was a bit of a hike. ST rate was 1000bt, and she fcked like a rabbit.. pretty good. tipped her 500 and she was v. happy about it.. i walked her to the street and actually almost back to cowboy, cause i liked her convo (english was OK).. swapped numbers. She was v. keen to meet next day for LT.. but I'm just not into LT much, and didn't return the calls.. also left BKK in a day or so, but would consider taking her again next time.
Day 3 (Thu)
I had to hit Nana, since I had not done so yet, and no BKK trip is complete without a Nana experience.
- Went to Rainbow 4: Big, 2 stages, with about 20 girls on each , maybe a bit less.. crowded.. got a few smiles, nothing really attracted me that much. Staff were OK, not pushy at all (probably too busy and big). Mamasan was nice. Left after a beer.
- Rainbow 2: Same as before.. one main stage area, about 15 girls or less.. not bad.
- Angel Witch: Recommended by a few here.. the uniforms are sexy.. latex stuff etc., chains, bondage outfits. not bad. one of the mamasan's looks like a witch. bought a t shirt, too small.. what a waste.
A small cok rocket of a girl jumped on me in the first 5 mins, and would not get off my leg or stop humping me.. others were laffing.. she was fun though. bought her a drink to slow her down.. tequila shot worked and did slow her down. There was a babe on stage, very nice smile watching and interested.. couple of tattoos, eagle wings on the stomach. Told her to come and get a drink, she got down, and sat next to me.. verrrry soft, massaging my hands and neck and all the shyt guys like.. name Ploy (i think). Perfect face and teeth etc. couldnt resist and Bf'd her (600), she changed, and looked stunning in short dress top and short shorts, heels etc. top make-up skills.
However, it went down from there haha. Wanted to go 7-11, then chemist.. then wanted to get taxi immed. back.. did all of this, and back at hotel. She wanted 2000 ST and 3000 LT.. i could accept this, since she was 9/10 in my eyes. Back in the room, took her to the nearby Sports Bar for a few drinks etc., bought her back to the room.. she was a bit "air-head"y.. and like on drugs, but she was not. Sexy little undress routine, no inhibitions.. wasn't keen to take a shower however, since she said she had one before work (like so what?? lol). Naked she looked nice.. enjoyed having her medium tits sucked hard etc., however even after foreplay, she was quite dry.. lucky i had some KY.. she ended up being a pretty dead root.. didn't do much work at all, in fact I had to do more work. I liked looking at her though, but that was the extent of it.. ended up finishing off in the 69 position (always works for me as a back-up).
Showered, and then she started putting her clothes on-- (I thought "great, i prefer ST and sleep alone anyway), then she asks for LT price 3000 cause it's past 2am, and she cant do anything now.. I was laughing.. LT means stay until next morning.. u wanna go now? that's ST.. she can't say much, so she asked 2500.. I could have been a hard-ass, but didn't mind to let her go with 2500, since we were at it for a few hours, I got a few photos as well, and I could sleep in peace (she seemed high maintenance).. she let her self out at least.
Next morning had to check out of Livingstone's Lodge sadly.. really enjoyed my stay there, gr8 staff and seemed to click for me. Will return.
Continued on to crazy Pattaya.
the biggest industry in Thailand is probably booty for hire. Name one Spanish speaking industrial power. Maybe Mexico? Where are they all trying to get to?
Thailand and Brazil are very similar in many ways. They are very different than their neighbors, they have a huge p4p thing going, a gigantic ladyboy population, a very violent underworld, a distain for foreigners, and they both think they are the center of the universe.
Dunn think even Mexico can qualify as big indust. power. Their main export is Immigrants into US.
I think LOS and Brasil similar but LOS still lotz better. Hoods in Brasil are much worst and violent.
I dunn have richy friends so cant compare. I juz know from me own experience that people paying too much before me makes it difficult for me to get fair price and the working ladies have even told me so to me face. ex. I tell them know going price, she sez why I so cheap, sucker before pay xxxx bahts more.

Thank you!
As usual the experts on this board have come through for me. I truly appreciate the quick responses I recieved from my detailed posting.
Becuase it's my first trip I really don't want to travel too much once I arrive (as far as going to Bangkok, Phuket and Pattaya all in same trip). As of now, it's a toss-up between Pattaya and Bongkok. But if Pattaya is cheaper and has a beach, along with girls of comparable quality of bangkok...how can I turn down Pattaya?
Regarding my Visa (remember I've never traveled internationally before). I went to the Thai Embassy webpage regarding Visa requirements:
http://www.thaiembdc.org/consular/visa/visa.htm#General%20Requirements
Please let me know if there is anything else I need to consider when applying for a Visa. It seems like a relatively simple process; however, unless I apply in person it takes up to 3 weeks? Whereas, if I go in person it takes 48 hours? My other concern is the Visa application asks for time and place of stay...I would like to apply for my Visa now, just to get all needed paperwork out of the way, but I do not have my trip planned yet--Is there anyway to apply for a Visa without knowing exact dates of your trip or must you book plane and hotel prior?
The hotel reccomendations are really helping n my search too...I tell you guys, I'm having more fun planning and researching this trip! It's been something I've been wanting to do for years but never had the chance. Recently resigned from job, have money in the bank and the ability to take somet time off before starting new job. I'm like a kid in a candy store!
I'm sure this is old news to most of you, but I found many interesting videos on youtube.com by searching for "thai gogo/bar girls" there must be hundreds of videos, some very good. Of girls dancing in the bars, on the streets, you name it. It is helping me get a feel for what the area will look like. Some of the videos are actual advertisements from the various bars.
Thanks again fellas.

Hey Vinnie, please tell me you don't actuallt think Allover is the first guy to think about this. Do you really think the wackos are reading this board, in order to find targets?
FYI, read this article in today's Bankok post.
Quote:"
Khalid admits Bangkok terrorist plots
(Bankgokpost.com, Agencies)
September 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed said that he had put into action twin plans to blow up Bangkok nightclubs and to take over and destroy an Israeli airliner at Don Muang airport in 2003.
Neither plan was achieved, he told the military tribunal at Guantanamo Bay prison, but he had active al-Qaeda agents in place and was near plans for the two terrorist actions when he and Jemaah Islamiyah counterpart Hambali were arrested.
At the military hearing in Guantanamo in which he took responsibility "from A to Z" for the 2001 terrorist attacks on America, the al-Qaeda idea man said:
"I was responsible for planning, surveying, and financing for the destruction of many night clubs frequented by American and British citizens on Thailand soil...
"I was responsible for surveying and financing for the destruction of an Israeli El-Al Airlines flight on Thailand soil departing from Bangkok Airport."
The transcript of his hearing before a US military court at the Cuban base was released yesterday in Washington and obtained by BangkokPost.com on the Internet.
The PDF can be obtained here:
http://www.defenselink.mil/news/transcript_ISN10024.pdf
or here:
http://*******.com/2xea4q
Mohammad is known as a braggart. The US 9/11 Commission, established to report on the worst terrorist attack in US history, said he could be "inflating his own role".
But Mohammad's claims about Thailand fit precisely with previously known facts.
In June, 2003, police arrested a man alleged to be a member of al-Qaeda as he photographed the El Al counter at Bangkok International Airport at Don Muang. He was identified as Basir bin Lap alias Lillie, of Malaysia.
Under questioning, it was discovered that the arrested man also had put the El Al office in Bangkok under surveillance.
Lillie admitted to Thai police that he had also conducted surveillance on two Israeli-owned businesses in the Banglampoo tourist area known as Khao San Road.
Another close al-Qaeda associate Hambali, the JI chief of field operations arrested in Ayutthaya in August, 2003, admitted conducting surveillance of the Israeli embassy on Lang Suan Road, in preparation for a possible bomb attack."
there is more, if you want to read the rest.
-
It looks like, if you take the U.S. Government at it's word (although why anyone would, given the Bushies track record escapes me) that Khalid confessed to pretty much everything bad that happened in the world from 1995 - 2003.
I bet he's even the one who let the dogs out.
I hear that historians have now determined that Julius Caesar's last words were:
"Et Tu, Khalid?"

Vinny
Don't be afraid. Everything will be ok. We need to go on with our lives but be careful and know the rules of the game have changed in the last few years. Unfortunately, name calling won't make things better for any of us.
-
If people don't have a Bangkok report, why waste bandwidth and post here? It makes searching harder for others later.
As for terrorism in BKK, give us a break..there is almost always a political/money reason for a terrorist attack, and I can't see doing damage in BKK to further any cause, unlike every other attack which either helped the "oil" cause or related causes such as Iraq. On top of that, try walking down some soi's and look at the amount of saudis and arabs you find around.
