Puerto Plata

I know it is crazy money but has anyone personally gone to the Oxygen Retreat? I read the website etc. but I would like to know if anyone actually has done this adventure?

Let me respectfully add this: You can find good GFE from local girls. I met one and had lunch with her and her relatives after getting the house tour. Knowing Spanish was a must.

I did well in Puerto Plata with the locals. Please keep in mind that not everything gets posted on the Board. For example, because I interact with local girls, I do not post their pictures for obvious reasons.

I don't know what you mean about "locals." Do you mean the "non-pros" of Puerto Plata? The chick I banged from Classico's my last night in DR lived in Puerto Plata (and had the nerve to complain about not wanting to take a motorconcho from BB's to her home, which was right up the street). My New York friend was banging her best friend that night as well, who also came back with us to BB's and lives in PP. The two both struck me as semi-pros who go to Classicos to make some extra cash here and there. The reason I say this is because they both seemed to not have any idea about how the "game" goes. I took mine back to my room at BB's, banged her, THEN told her how much I was going to give her in the morning. The babe(s) had agreed to come back with us to BB's without discussing anything else with them other than if they had their I.D.'s on them.

They both were also mucho surprised to see so many women walking around BB's resort the next morning as well.

Other than that, the first night we went to Classico's we picked up two girls from their homes in PP that the New Yorker knew. One was a former BB worker and the other was currently working there (she was on her day off).

But both girls were "locals," wouldn't you say? And NY guy was banging them both that night.

Almost every night I flirted with the bartender at BB's (I forget her name, but she's the curvy cutie with the hips and booty). She even joked about coming with me to Classico's the second night we were going. But I (and she) understood that BB's has a "hands off" policy with the staff.

But if I saw her in town I don't think I'd have much of a problem scoring though...

I'm not sure what is meant by locals but I have had "nice" girls from POP, Santiago, SDQ, and points in between. While I believe you can know when a girl is not a pro by the way they act and treat you, I also believe you can never know whether she has ever gone to Sosua for a night or been a beeper chica to make money for college or her baby or whatever. Don't sweat the small stuff and just enjoy your time with her.

I just thought I would thow a few things out there from my last trip down to the DR. I have been back now for over a week and things are starting to settle in for me. I spent a total of 5 days down there, 2 at BBs and 3 with the novia. All totalled it was a great vacation, although next time down I may split things up a bit different with 3 days to play and 2 with the novia. I want my cake and to eat it too. Oh well, who can blame me?

There are some changes at BBs that I really think stem mostly from the changes in the economy. BBs has enjoyed record occupancy for quite a while now, but they are having more vacancies now. I think management there is implimenting some rules to push hotel guests to BBs from other local establishments, as well as get a few more pesos from the chicas and ensure a supply of chicas during a slow time. Some of the changes will be welcome to the BBs punter, but I do feel for the chicas.

First, Charo and Jennifer are gone and Paola and Luchy are taking their place. I don't think the regular BBs punter will notice any difference in this. I will miss Charo myself, I liked her and the chicas are all saying now that they miss her, as the new "mamma-sons" are a lot stricter and implimenting the new rules.

Starting this month there is a salida for any chica leaving confines of BBs to hook up with someone not staying at BBs. It is 800 pesos and paid for by the chica to management. The girls are worried this will cut into their business. It probably will.

This is currently much more of a job for the chicas than before. There is now a set schedule for the chicas, on a calendar, for day shift or night shift including all holidays (Christmas, New Year). I think the day shift starts at 10am and definitely ends at 6pm (you should see the exodus of girls leaving at 6, it is a sight to behold). The night shift starts at 6pm and ends at midnight. Although I feel for the girls on this, I must say that there was a much better selection of girls in the afternoon on the days I was there, and a full selection in the evening. The girls still incur daily expenses (make-up, clothing, salon, etc.) to entice the client, but there is more competition because there are always more chicas on site, and there will probably be a weeding out process of the less popular girls. The management also hopes this provides for more new blood to replace them. If the chica wants the day off and she is scheduled, she now pays management 1000 pesos per day to keep her job.

Onto other areas, I ran into something that should be a learning opportunity for all. On my second evening I saw one chica I had been with only once for ST about a year ago, and was on my "To Do Again" list. Her name is Maria Marcelena. She is a little spinner, not a real stunner (most would rate her a 7 or so in looks), but a great performer for me in the past. When I picked her out for TLN we talked over dinner. She started telling me everything we did on our first meeting, in fine detail (I almost forgot some of this stuff til she talked about it), with sincerity and zeal. This blew me away. How could someone remember so much about a ST experience from a year ago? She told me I was a nice guy, and she so much appreciated the "nice guys" that she tries to forget the others. Word to the wise here, I got phenominal service that TLN, not because of what I did this trip, but because I treated the chica well last time around. Treat things like a date, show the chicas some respect, and try to learn some Spanish. It all pays dividends eventually.

Seems to me BBs is trying to fix something that is not broken. I don’t think they have to do anything to take patrons from higher priced venues. The economy will do that naturally. Changing their business model wont fill the occasional vacancy.

So the bottom line is, I believe their occupancy rate wont be increased and the extra money they do bring in will come from both the girls pockets and patrons via the different business model.

So patrons and the girls will flip the bill for the sagging economy. In general and long term, nothing good can happen here for either party as I see it. Yes, something might look good on the surface but underneath, the wounds will start to fester.

There are some problems though, the rooms have been booked and no availability, so then a group of guys book a local condo and stop by early afternoon and pick up all the prime grade for an outside party, and the BB patrons are left looking at what little is left. It's happened to me as I'm slow to simmer on what I pick for the evening and ended up with my dick in hand later one evening.

Another problem I've noted was the heavy booking for weekends, and light during the week, and in some cases, people wanted rooms for an entire week but could only get them S-Thurs., because of the weekend crowd. I've never understood why they don't have incentive for 1 week bookings, and increased weekend rates, etc.

All I know is that John busts his ass to make it right, and if it doesn't work, or somehow punishes his loyal crowd, he'll fix it quick.

That is the only reason I agree with charging outsiders the 800 DOP salida fee. It's probably something they should've implemented long time ago.

The Saturday I was there a group of guys came though BB's that evening and cleaned house. If it wasn't for the fact that I was going to Classico's I too would've ended up with my dick in my hand for the night.

It sounds like the fixed pricing structure stays the same. The only reported difference is the outsiders fees for taking the girls on salida so the booked BB patron is not paying anything above what he did before. Only the outside monger is paying more.

So imagine the girl getting the salida is on schedule for 4 days straight. First night she pays the salida, second night she has to show up for work again or pay the 1000 fine to keep her job. The outsiders now have to come back to BB and pay another 800 salida the next day for the same or different girl. The whole process makes it a compounded day by day pain in the ass for the outsiders. I think it is a good idea although I don’t think BB will make enough money off it to supplement the sagging economy.

So the salida stuff is good for the patrons, will make a few bucks for the establishment, and discourage outsiders from raiding the place of all the best talent.

I must admit that I am in no way "experienced." I've only been to DR once, and it was a stay at BB's. That's about as spoon fed you can get!

I learned everything I needed to know from reading the post on this board, asking questions, and PM'ing other members. From this I was able to hit the ground running and navigate the terrain with limited Spanish speaking skills.

Now I must also admit that I was one of those mongers who argued vehemently about rather having everything "in place" for me rather than "hunting." Some of you may even remember my postings about this particular argument. But after visiting Sosua, namely Classico's, I am all about the hunt!

I guess I just like the idea of knowing that If I don't too much care for the talent at the resort, I can always go out in town and find exactly what I am looking for.

Because, to be honest with you, those broads at Oxygen are much too skinny for my taste:

P.S. If the AI's should start to stack their ponds with ducks like these below, then they'd definitely grab ahold of my attention (and wallet). That kind of quality would be the only way I could justify the expense.

How nice it would be to have my cake and eat it at the same time (Dominicanas + Garotas). Plus, a 4hr flight to DR is much more comfortable than a 12hr flight down south to BR (but not enough to stop me from wanting to go, lol).

At the end of the day, when all is said and done, this will be passed to the client. Perhaps, it should be. While I have my reservations about a barfine in the DR, I would gladly pay one for the girl that I had previously. Of course, I must tip Ponderosa for his assistance.

We continue to be in agreement on this. I treat all encounters as a date, unless I accidently encounter a hardened pro. I treat the MP girls in this manner, and it has yielded dividends.

I didn't mean to single you out, SavePros321. I didn't even notice that both of the top quotes were yours. I understand your opinions, and I respect them. I go solo myself quite often. But I am comfortable with international travel and I speak decent Spanish. I also am not a voracious consumer.

However for a guy who drinks a lot and fucks a lot, Blackbeard's can be as expensive as the all-inclusives. I've heard the tales of guys who ran up their bar tab into the hundreds of dollars just buying drinks for girls one night. There was even a warning about some of the girls who bought drinks for their friends on their date's tab. Add in three meals a day for you and your girls, plus transportation to the casino, the discos, the airport, and you can tally up quite the bill. Not to mention the cost of your fun in the bedroom. Oh, and the jacuzzi fee (!).

At Oxygen, I believe their rate includes four "encounters" per day, with up to four different ladies. Or you can have two ladies, plus a TLN with a third. At My Wild Vacation you only get one companion, but she is with you for 24 hours -- how many times you do it is up to you and her.

Totally understandable. Why choose from among 15-20 girls when you have a whole town full to hunt in? On the other hand, I'm as interested in a girl's personality, so it is nice to live with them at the villa 24/7 so I have a chance to meet them before I choose (except for the first night).

Wow, for a guy who says the Oxygen girls are too skinny, your examples are pretty thin too. But you seem to like the big fake boobs. Hey, to each his own! I've never seen a girl like this at the all-inclusives I have visited. They tend to be more natural girls, but that's what I like.
