I heard it is not possible to negotiate price in Disco Herestrau, however yesterday I was out in Planters and since nothing interesting happened, went to to Herestrau around 3:00am. I'm on my way back to Bucharest at the end of next week. I hear its cold and there is alot of snow. How are the roads for travelling from Bucharest to some of the more rural areas? I know the roads are bad in the first place, I can't imagine how bad they are with alot of snow. Maybe i'm wrong.

I'll be at the Mariott for a night, then off to Onesti to stay with a girlfriend. I'll be back to Bucharest about a week later, and staying at the Mariott for a day/night before I go on my way home. I don't think i'll have the time or energy to go to the Bucharest Mall to look for girls again and for a bargain, so I might try one of the clubs. I know it will be 100$ but oh well. Btw, I have always claimed that Bucharest is not a good place for whoring. It's a place for insiders. And even as that it's not hot. For these purposes, Brasil is lots better, or Thailand, or even Germany, where you have incredibly nice clubs with pools and prices like $30/shot.

don't worry, police will not stop you while driving, unless you make some violation, be aware of radars, especially in villages... speed limit is 50 km/h. if you however make some violation and get stopped, best tactics is not to speak romanian at all (even if you know or understand) and after a couple of minutes, policeman will realize there is now way to scare you (almost all are very corrupt) and will let you go for 500.000 lei or 1.000.000 if you really made a big violation. however never drink and drive here, but you know it, don't you...
