Dear Shambhu, being a fellow who has a job involving travel I do get to visit many cities in India on a regular basis. Pune is my base "station". Do visit us here sometime. It would have been nice to hear your own experiences of Patna and Guwahati, but your latest update on the Bangalore thread states that it has been postponed. Being based in Pune, what I do know is that fellows pick up the girls here and then take them to places like Lonavla or Khandala for weekend of fun. The same goes for Matheran and Mahabaleshwar. Have not explored the "resort" hotels at Lonavla myself, though I do know of two resort hotels, that are both GF. One has another property in Colaba too, not far from the VooDoo place. If you happen to be in the area let me know and we could explore this area some weekend. Have fun, meanwhile, wherever you are.

This city is probably one of the few in India where prostitution is considered to be a legitimate profession. The red light areas of Mali-Sahi and Salia-Sahi are famous and any three-wheeler fellow will get you there. Considering that you are a newbie, it would be nice for us to hear about your experiences. Hello Adi, after reading your query I asked my two Dehra Dun based colleagues about the mongering scene. They both said that the situation is the same as most major "hill stations", people who come here for short visits either do without or bring their own. Whatever one may find is mainly around the Christmas to New Year season when the town gets swamped by people from Delhi taking their annual breaks, which may bring "providers" here for making a quick profit.

Kindly explain something, my friend. Daman is about ten miles West of Vapi railway station and a return cab ride would probably cost you less than what you would spend trying to find something in your little dot of a town. Mysore, like any other historical and tourist destination, remains a mongering hot spot. Culturally, it has become as modern as Bangalore, but MPs offering extras and independent providers may be hard to find. Ask the bell hop and auto rickshaw drivers. Many pimps (from Rajasthan and Mumbai) operate from lodges and the traffic is pan-Indian (usually from Mangalore, Ooty, Kerala, AP, Orissa, Bengal). Quality and cost is mostly mid-level, though escorts, 5-star and filmy types can also be found or brought from Bangalore when sought. Tibetans and NEs can be found upcountry (towards Coorg), if you wish to try your luck.

Street action (locals) can be found through out the day between the city and suburban bus stands, which includes the city center and market areas. Sex workers are quite well organized here, with aid from several NGOs. So LE is more vigilant too. Customers are rarely targeted but take the usual precautions.

I was having a chat with my friend during my trip to Kolkata who happens to be from Mangalore and I was surprised to know that quite good stuff is available at this city and economical as well. I scanned almost whole thread but could not locate any report on this city.

My Friend says as Male go out to earn quick money outside India ( seems like Kerala situation ), females normally go out and enjoy. He also mentioned that females are quite well educated here and are very fair.

Anybody to comment on Managlore scene and share some more insights.

I finally managed to get hold of an "agent" in Bhubaneswar who claimed he could provide either local girls in 1K-3K range or model like girls for 15K. I found this contact on a website while searching for Bhubaneswar action. Unfortunately for me, I found this just today so no time to try it out since I am out of this town tomorrow. So I am not sure how this would have turned out. But the guy on phone sounded quite knowledgeable about the business and was talking freely about how he operates.

I did drive around the Mali-Sahi area but I am not into that quality. These women are known as "Reja" here. It means "cheap change" in Oriya. They are usually laborers trying to make more. And of course the usual risk of HIV, etc. Is quite high.
