Phuquer,
Nice report. Thanks for digging it out for all of us. Does the new Suvarnabhumi airport have a place where you can get a farewell massage before leaving Bangkok?
I would be interested in finding out too!
Thanks!

Nationals of the following countries may enter Thailand without a visa in accordance with Ministry of Interior's regulation for a maximum stay of 30 days for purpose of Tourism only:-
Slight correction, TL. Tourists from these countries are given a Visa (30 days) at the Immigration Conter. They can travel to Thailand without a prior Visa. Although extremely rare, they can be denied a visa to enter if the persons has , e.g. criminal records.
Hi,
Up coming trip, and a couple of questions.
Soi 33, bar recommendations
Never managed to get there before, but this trip I will.
I know Giotto wrote a report about that, but I can’t find it, but a fresh update it’s not wrong.
Soi Thaniya
Is the japs getting the best out of the p4p business or?
Anyway I will spend some Bath there one night and check that out.
Does someone have any recommendations on that street?

I mentioned a good freelancer bar earlier but couldn't remember the name. Its the thermae on Sukumvit.
Thermae. On Sukhumvit road between Soi 13 and 15. If all else has failed and even if it hasn't, most people will not believe Thermae. The beers are reasonably priced with a Heineken costing 85 Baht. Thermae is a large bar that only gets busy when everything else, namely the other bars, are closed. Or at least that is how it was. With the new laws on closing in place Thermae now closes at 2am just like everywhere else. It can be jam packed full of women. Well not to go on but. The food here is good, especially after a long hard night, although most people do not come for the food

Wow that is great news. So since I am a US citicen I can go to Thailand with just my passport for 30 days? So now that I have my passpost, I can just book my flight and go? I really thought there was more to it.
Thanks again for the quick responses fellas.
Can anyone tell me where can I pick up chicks for LT during day time. I am staying in a hotel near Sala deng (silom area), any help would be welcomed

If you feel like a little ride, Beergarden Sukhumvit 7 is also a good Daytime freelancer pickup place
Yes you get your temp. 30d visa on arrival. It has been like this for those listed countries for quite some time. Just get the flight, have your passport in order and go.

Dear all,
Someone told me that along the Makkasan road, from 10pm, many girls are out, waiting for clients. This road serves like a red-light district, and sometimes you can even find students doing part-time there. Is it true? Has anyone gone there?

I disagree with the Patpong suggestion for P4P during the day. There isn't anything going on in Patpong during the day. It's all night action. The Sukhumvit Soi 7 Bier Garten in the afternoon is your best bet.

I used to stay at D'Ma hotel on Makkasan road. This road is quiet as far as people walking goes. But heavy car traffic. Never noticed any chicks walking at night. Its not a red light district however Entertainment plaza is located near New Petchburi road end of Makkasan (I often walk there from Sukhumwit when traffic heavy). Other end is near Indra Hotel and not that far from Chaopraya II MP in Sri Ayutthaya road.
If there are walkers in Makkasan, must be a new thing, but definitely not a red light district by any stretch of the imagination.

RA's right. Patpong is dead during the day. The Soi 7 Bier Garten is your best bet. Other options are Pool Bars up and down Suk, Hillary Bars on Soi 4 down the street from Nana, Internet Cafes (girls checking on their e-mail) would all be places to start. You could also get take out from one of the massage places, if ST is all you are looking for. There are always a few girls hanging around the Nana bar courtyard area during the afternoons. I know not all of these options are FL's per se, but the bottom line is that you end up with someone.
In many cases, with the Pool Bars, you may be required to pay a bar fine if the girl is working there.

I don't think that Makkasan road is meant in this case. Sounds to me as if it was talked about the area in Petchaburi road around Siam City Hotel and around the corner towards Makasan Road. There is nightly action, basically catering for Thai's, and for sure you can also find some university freelancers there.

...
Try the bars around Eden Club, Soi 7/1 . There is daytime action, too.
