I stayed in Centro each time, and not one time was I robbed, harmed, or afraid to go to Vera Cruz to pick up a girl to take back to my room. Many guys will send you out to Poblado and Laureles and other areas to keep you away from centro because the best rates and the easiest girls are found right there in Centro. If you want to spend more money, have a false sense of security, and depend on people who prey on overcharging gringos. Go right ahead to Poblado, Laureles and everywhere else, I will continue to return to Centro, where the girls are plentiful and the prices are cheap. Remember this, those who have to most to lose will always stir you away from where the gold is by using fear tactics and trying to convince you that a particular place is bad. Got to MDE airport after a long one stop trip. My flight was delayed so a long line at immigration.
