A room on the highest floor you can get is better, better view, less noise and nice breeze, west side is cooler in the morning for sleeping in.

Anyway with regards to it being GF or not; according to the rules placed inside the rooms visits limited to 30 minutes are allowed before 6 pm. After 6 pm a 46 k fee must be paid and seemingly can stay all night. Not sure how strictly the pre 6 pm 30 minute rule is enforced though.

(at least till they close) 2 ATM's in that part of the hotel also. And across from the restaurant are the airport buses for under 10 k. 24 HR food to the left at BrasePan and 2 strip club / brothels to the right a block. (Maracaibo & Barra Ejectiva) Also a grocery store tucked in under the hotel across from the metro tracks.

The hotel is a lot better than I imagined too. I've booked a penthouse room with a massive balcony that overlooks Botero Plaza. It was around £30 a night and is fantastic value imo.

Visited a couple of strip clubs this evening. I've found the informstion on this site invaluable so I hope this report helps someone.
Walked the short distance from Nutibara to Conejitas bar show (playmates), and spent a good 60-90 minutes ogling the talent. It was rather busy with 25+ Colombian guys in there and around 15 girls. I originally thought this would be not such a great ratio, however most of the patrons seemed to be quite happy just chilling with their beers rather than getting busy with the girls. And who can blame them when beers are only 6 k. I was paying that in the museum cafe nearby, only I had Botero's sculptures as a view rather than some young, nubile Colombian sculptures. I know which I'd rather look at (sorry Fernando).
This was my first experience of a Colombian strip club, and I found it very dark. It took a while for my eyes to adjust. Things were pretty slow also with around a 15 minute gap between dances. Girls were cute. Mostly early 20's but too much plastic breasts and ass for my liking.
After a few beers I decided to move on, initially to get some food, however I then passed Nueva Avenida which I didn't realise was pretty much next door.
Friendly security on the door, as with playmates. The club was slightly smaller and I'd say the girls were outnumbering the guys with a rough count around 15 v 10. Same price as playmates, 6 k for beer. As soon as I entered I had my eye on an unconventional slightly chubby beauty with an ample rack and ass (both real), from a distance looked slightly on the mature side, which I don't mind, however upon closer inspection was probably late 20's early 30's. Anyway, sadly she was with another customer, and she looked like she had tons of sexy energy about her, being very playful with the punter. We exchanged smiles and glances every now and then and eventually the customer moved on without taking her to the room and so I moved in.
She was a very amiable woman named Jasmine. She had zero English skills and I have very limited Spanish however we made it work and after a couple of ladydrinks (Also priced 6 k) we went to the onsite bedroom. Price was 70 k for 30 minutes. An excellent session with DFK and a variety of positions, oral was with condom which I usually see as pointless, but she was very skilfull, including DT so I didn't complain. We finished just as the 30 minute knock on the door came, and had a quick shower in the am suite cubicle and headed back to the bar.
If you're not staying in the area and worried about venturing into Centro, both clubs are literally opposite the metro, so you can't go wrong. I was planning to explore Bar Marcaibo and Barra Ejecutiva but that will likely be tomorrow (google maps has these as next door to each other. Is that correct?
Oh one word of warning, when the girl first joined me at the 2nd club, and I'd bought myself another drink as well as a lady drink, I paid with a 50 k note, however after around 15 minutes of waiting I hadn't received my change. I told Jasmine (using Google translate!) and she sorted the situation very quickly and the male server apologised. Not sure if it was a genuine mistake or he thought I'd be distracted with other things (but it just goes to show that you always need to be aware of every situation.

Yes Santa Fe in Bogota, I was there this past October 2018, is 20 or 30 times the size of the freelancer SW, I agree but still you only need one cool paisa chica to rock your world so it's all good weather in Bogota or Medellin.

For a good breakfast near there I go to Versailles on Junin Walking street. Go to Parque Bolivar and the walking street dead ends at the end of the park opposite the church, Vesailles is down on the right, if it looks like no tables stairs in the back to the 2nd floor.
