the day or even time can change what you see in a bar, so i suggest people read sf with a grain of salt. bar hopping is half the fun.

thunderdome does have unreasonable barfines. you can bargain, btw. filipino customers usually come in groups, so i suspect sf hit the early hours of silver dollar (the dregs most often) and then showed up early at thunderdome before things kicked in. correct me if i'm wrong.

hmmm, koreans seem to be the predominant non-western foreign presence. sleepy floyd....are you sure they were japanese?

dark corner at viking? i don't doubt you since you are there off season. just hard to imagine. the place has often been packed when i was there. if you pulled four ladies, i guess there is a moral to the story. don't have morals!

then on to the strip of bars which i always got confused with on previous trips. the signs above the doors are not in the right order so i never knew which bar i was actually in o previous trips. this time i got it straight. they all have the same owner and the atmosphere and talent are about the same in all the bars. first went in bgs. about 10-15 customers already there which makes it seem crowded as it is a small bar. there were some hotties but they were already taken by the early arriving japanese, so i just chilled and watched. bought a couple drinks for a so-so girl, but wasn't feeling the vibe so went next door to eric the red. hotties there as well, again already taken. saw a girl i barfined last time and bought her a few drinks. she has an amazing body(posted a pic back in oct) but her performance back then was lacking. plus she is a first class bullshitter, bordering on being a compulsive liar. i understand a bargirl lying about some things, like minimizing the number of dudes she's fucked or lying about filipino boyfrinds and such. thats all part of the game. but this chick says she is a nursing student, says she lives in the diplomat hotel, says she has been so many places travelling, lies about being chinese and many other lies about nonsense that there is no reason to lie about. all the shit she told me just doesn't add up. her co-workers confirmed these were all lies. anyways, she says she has 4 guys supporting her, which is probably a lie as well, but she does have a smoking body so i guess it is possible. anyways, if any of you mongerers are one of the 4, beware.

so, left the bulshitter and ended up in viking. again, hotties abound, but already taken. i decided i was tired of barhopping so i would have to find something hereto take home. i was almost immediately accosted by 2 girls as soon as i sat down. i talked with them for a few minutes, and while the were not the hottest, the were certainly passable. ended up buying them both a few rounds of drinks and by that time i was drunk enough to have my inhibitions sufficiently lowered. they told me they wanted to take my in the corner and [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord123][CodeWord123][/url] me. so we went off to the darkest couch in the corner and before i knew it my pants were down and i was getting blown by both as they alternated. this went on for about 30 minutes. then another chick went over to the next sofa to lay down. when she sensed what was going on she started chatting with me and before i knew it there was a third girl on my dick. the a fourth saw the party and came over as well. by that point i was drunk enough to not give a shit, so i decided to take all 4 to the hotel. since it was already about 3, the girls said just wait til after closing and they would meet me at the hotel. no point in paying the bar share when they were about to get off anyway. so they all ended up in my room. the first 2 were really horny and into me and the other 2 probably figured it would be easy money cause i was drunk and probably wouldn't have the stamina to fuck all 4 of them. how wrong they were. spent the next few hours fucking all of them one after the other until i ran out of condoms. sent 2 on there way about 7am, slept with the other 2 for a few hours, woke up, went outside for condoms and back at it again for 2 more hours. they were all game, no hiding in the bathroom bullshit. got pics of the 2 that stayed til the morning that i'll post later. plus got lots of nice video. paid the first 2 1500 each and the 2 that stayed 2000 each. money well spent.[/quote]

Sleepy Floyd...You just finished what i wrote few minutes back in the Manila thread...Sun flower bar probably would be the most hyped up bar in Cebu with a place which is closer to hell than a cockraoch that would snif in your pants when u sit on those chairs.


Newbie Mongers....THUMB RULE...If you wanna have a great time..DO NOT VISIT bars owned by expats in the Philiphines...you will end up with so so experience. Half of this board is high jacked by the expats promoting their own "friends" bar..they run it dirt cheap..pay dirt cheap salary to the workers.

The guy who owns it now is a retired american. He doesn't appear all that bright...I think that is one of the problems with these guys that have more money than sense. They think that owning a bar will be easy. They don't think about all the expats that came before them that managed to take a successful business and drive it into the ground

Born Loser, I have visited Jaguar but did not like 500 peso drinks and barfine in the area of 5000 peso (dont remember exactly prices, but I remember the prices was chocking high). I heard Arena has high prices so I never did go there, why is Arena good?

I rather pay BF only 1700 peso in Mango bars (300 meter down the street away from Mango square and Juliana disco), even if many of them have the same owner. Put it this way, life is quite slow in Cebu these days, so the selection is quite ok if you are there near opening time 8pm - although nothing compared to AC...

I have written a while back that the "Best Kept Secret" in both Jaguar and Arena is to go very late at night after 12 am and when the bar closes at 2.30 AM....everything becomes unofficial and you can pick up almost any girl you liked during your stay.

Its actually reverse than other bars, for in other bars you go early to pick up the best talent but in these two bars, the quality is so high that the left over are worth the catch. You will see around 50 girls going to home alone after 2.30 AM.

All you have to do is just stay at the bar counter at the entrance and pick up the girl you liked and ask her directly or get hold of a mamasan.

When i became a frequent visitor to Jaguar and refused to leave even after 2.30 to watch all eye candies at play :) figured everything goes cool after the official hours.

You might have noticed a red sofa at the entrance of Jaguar, you can sit their and watch all the action without been bothered and the girls will come and sit beside you and chit chat etc.

If you plan to stay more than one week, i recommed using the going late approach to these two bars and at visiting more than 2 times continueslly so that you will feel the vibe of the place. I can bet you will get a better deal...good luck

There are also many similar type places in Cebu but you must search them out.

Fast Eddie is referring to an event in China which generated some negative publicity for the Japanese -- something about guys on sex tours.

I'm back in Cebu until mid July-- I'll spend most of my time out on Camotes island-- I'm posting this from there using a Smartbro usb pay as you go- slow, better than nothing. The beach is dirty today due to the rubbish blown in on the Hagabat (sp? ). The southern storm wind, so I'll try to share a few observations-

As reported elsewhere, (Sun Star, here on this board) Egypt & Bounty bars are closed up & they were dark when we drove by. A girl I know who used to work there says a lot of girls out of work. Sun Star reports the licenses have been revoked by the mayor of Mandaue. There's a 3rd bar in the complex, Coliseum, almost finished, that never even got to open. These bars had some pretty fancy decoration & some foreigner owners (like the guys at Cadillac Cafe in Mactan) got an expensive lesson in doing business here in the PI.

Speaking of Mactan, I have a place there when I'm in Cebu, & frequently drive by Maddogs & Jungle bar/disco. Stopped to look in a few times- no customers- Maybe the wrong night or too early.

Went by Mermaid a few times- lot's of girls, usually- uncomfortable seating, but nice layout to watch the dancers. 50 peso (I think it's 50) entrance fee, with no signs at the entrance to advise you of that entrance fee. Show's probably worth the 50 pesos. Got hit with a "manager's drink" there one time. 200 pesos. I told them I didn't order it. "It is our policy, po". I haven't been charged that little item since- Barfine 2500 pesos, maybe-

Dream bar in Mactan (where Grand Stage used to be) not many dancers-- Bought lady drinks for 3 or 4 girls-- the girls did not stay with us, wandering off to go to the dressing room, talk to barman, other customers etc. This kind of crap was common in Thailand when I used to go there. Of COURSE I am an old & not. So-handsum man. I complained, but no use. I may have been pickpocketed there on an earlier occasion-- I don't type, & I'm not sure, so I'll save the details for talking verbal type talk.

I replaced my gf of 3 1/2 years, because she went crap on me last summer. She was a smart girl, sweet, reliable, & loyal (I thought) she handled money for me etc. She wanted me to marry her. I didn't, so she started hunting for another guy who would. Started chatting online in ym & Asian Euro- One guy was going to Manila to marry her- He already bought the ring. & He never even met her! She started to go to Sunflower Disco & drinking with a group of fat disco girlfriends. She got drunk at Pump Disco, November 30, met an American doctor from Florida & went to his hotel & screwed him. This was ten days before I arrived to spend Christmas with her & my daughter.

I found her ym archive, & spent a few weeks getting it translated.

I met her at Viking bar- she had only worked there for three weeks, (but that was enough to open up possibilities in her mind, as she was cute & she got barfined every night) I took care of her for 3 1/2 years, sent her to school, bought an extension for her families house, etc etc. Her repayment for my kindness & care will not surprise old PI hands.

I trusted her-- (& as a small business owner for 40 years, I have hired hundreds of people on the basis of my judgement of their character & only had a few mistakes.) Many people here, who seem honest & trustworthy are not. Integrity may be a luxury item when your kids are sick & you don't have medicine-

Her aunty sued me for "libel". Libel can be a criminal offense in the PI. If you are having a criminal case adjudicated, a hold can be placed on your passport, preventing you from leaving the country. The Philippine legal system has a lot in common with US system-like in the US it can be glacially slow. However, your 'rights' may be severely limited to none, because you are a foreigner.

The ex gf helped her aunty with her case. I settled for 30, 000 pesos to get the aunty off my back. The ex-gf helped her aunty sue me.

The ex went on 'vacation' with a succession of Asian-Euro contacts, as long as they would pay her way, & now she's in Thailand with a German or Austrian guy who's going to marry her.

Anyway, the new gf is a lot better looking, & much better in bed, so 'all's well in this best of all possible third worlds.'

PS-- if you read this & are moved to let me know in great detail what an a--hole I am, & how you can demonstrate such on the basis of this, my own meager testimony here, please consider that although you are doubtless correct, I'm posting this to help some other men who may be entangled with women here. I am trying to reinforce what others have said here, & said it better than me-- & remember- Like I said above- I don't type, & don't have time or patience for flaming type crap.
