At Charles: I guess that would have been an option but it wasn't that long of a journey and we had the front seat so not so bad; had same deal on the way back.

At Oakie: Yes, they add value when you engage with a chica that way. They provide local knowledge and an insight into a place that someone spending just a short time in a place wouldn't otherwise get. Its not just about the screwing for me. See post #28691 for example. I think there have been more recent posts too. You will need a fat wallet to shop there, but if you cannot find your own girls I suppose that is better than a wasted trip.

Since my last post, I decided not to go back to Santo Domingo today. Have extended my Sosua stay for another 2 days (& who knows, may extend again). A chica pulled up on a scooter outside the cafe where I was having lunch yesterday. We agreed short time for 1500 but we ended up meeting back up in the evening, having a few drinks and she spent the night with me through until this morning. I gave her 3000 peso. She's gone away with my laundry and we're meeting back up at 12.

Otherwise got up early yesterday as had a spot booked on a fishing charter. Was fun although no fish landed.

Was the chica on the bike named Jenifer. She is one of my favorites. She gives great GFE and is a pleasure to be around. She reminds me of Gabriel Union. You are getting some great deals with the ladies.

The girls respond to it very well most of the time and are happy to be cleared of any life threatening disease and it makes for a comfortable session, bareback or not. Most girls even after testing will not go BB due to getting pregnant is not on the agenda. I like tasting the girls too and have not run across a foul one yet. Some of the sweetest in the world.

IMHO traveling / mongering is all about checking out new places and not being stuck on the same spot. For Jarabacoa you need to take Metro or Caribe Tours back to Santiago then go to the guagua terminal and take a smaller bus.

I suggested a home test kit but she said she'd prefer to go to a clinic. She said it costs 500 pesos and they give the results in 3 hours. If that's correct, it seems a decent option, considering the kits I've found online cost at least $40. She said the clinic only tests for HIV but I'm sure that can't be true, wouldn't they test for other common STD's at the same time?

Considering we're talking about the DR, I'm not sure whether I have more faith in a local clinic or a kit mailed to me which claims to give 99.8% accurate results in 15 minutes.

I am aware that if she's slept with someone in the weeks before my trip (she's a semi pro) I'm still taking a risk. Plus I need to pull out to make sure I don't leave a mini me behind.

Any advice on use of kits and local clinics would be appreciated. I'd like to get her tested for all the common ones and would like the results fairly quickly.

At Mr. E. : Sounds like we're on the same page. Of course like every other red blooded male, I like screwing but for me, its just one element of these trips. I like to mix it up and do the mongering thing, the more obvious touristy thing and then go off the beaten track a little / be a bit more adventurous.

From what I understand (and unlike other trips in the past, I've done very little trip research), Jarobacoa is different. Different climate, smaller place and I'd imagine less tourists. I *think* I may also get the opportunity to paraglide there.

I tend (where possible) not to book far in advance and just pay day by day. That way, if I get fed up of a place, I pack and head for the bus station.

Additionally to take advantage of a cracking flight deal, I flew in to Punta Cana. This meant there was always a need to travel within the DR anyway. Given the nature of Punta Cana. I'm not one for resorts. That's not my bag.
