Pattaya Reports
OMG they're going to ruin Lighthouse bringing in those ugly girls from Dog House. Lighthouse was one of my secret gem bars.

Odd in some of the bar closures. Peppermint and crazy house were fairly busy in comparison to many of the walking street gogo bars.

I leave for a few months and all hell breaks loose! My baht surely is missed by these gogo bars.

Pimp, palace is notoriously slow on Sunday nights and most top girls take Sundays and possibly Mondays off.
Not sure it was you or someone else, who mentioned back? The food is not the best but it is another option in town. Tequila Reef on Soi 7, is closing Nov 22nd, moving up to Pattaya Klang just past Foodland to Welcome Town to open again Dec 10th.

I'm surprised its closing. Tequila Reef is my favorite Pattaya restaurant, I'm quite surprised they're leaving Soi 7. Maybe the landlord jacked up the rent. The Pattaya Klang location will not be that easy to get to. Hopefully baht buses run along Pattaya Klang.

Been busy so haven't had time to go by and speak to the manager.

When it comes to Tequila Reef been there over 20 years but the move is based solely on rent! I didn't get into details about how much they were paying but I do know the owner of the land structure is the same people who own the majority of the land for the BeerBars. For one of those shacks, the rent is something like 20,000 baht a month and that doesn't include the electric and water markup the owner charges. Top that off the owner want "key money" each year just for the privilege of renting.

Like last night the BB many are empty as if barely hanging on so I guess the owners decided to increase the rent to make up for the loses? I didn't want to argue with the staff but I know the location Welcome Town very well although there are Songthaw running up to Pattaya Klang you have to transfer to get there.

And majority of the business there close by 7 pm? Eating at the Reef thru the years it seems majority of the business comes from walk-in people who are on holiday staying nearby hotels?

Rent is lower I'm sure and the new location will be a must smaller place majority of their business will come from regulars during the day because on my way home last night to the Darkside I pull into Welcome Town the place was dark with only one place open. I also noticed the "Loaf" which use to be near the corner of Soi Lengkee and Baukhao has move inside the Welcome Town and it was closed at night. Well good luck to the owner.

Morning gentlemen,

Thought I share an experience from my recent trip.

I previously met a good looking 22 year old girl named Joy at a bar on Soi Whitehouse in Jomtien (think the bar was named Fungo or Fungos) so I wanted to see her again and made contact on WhatsApp.

Turns out she is no longer working at the bar because now have a boyfriend, probably farang.

But she said she could meet at ST hotel and that's fine with me.

I made a booking at Full Love In in Pattaya at 19:00.

Of course she arrived a little late as all Thai girls do but no problem for me.

Very casually dressed, a little too much makeup but beautiful nevertheless.

Gained a few pounds since I saw her last and she kept saying she needs to start exercise so I thought I let her do all the work.

Last time I was with her she was ok in bed, not great but ok.

This time however she turned in to a dead fish.

Only reason I can think of is that she felt somewhat guilty towards her boyfriend, I am sure she do this secretly to make a little more money.

Anyhow, 2500 baht less in my pocket and an empty sack I was satisfied.

Will I repeat again? No.

There are about 50.000 other girls in the area nearby so no repeat.

Happy mongering.
Naughty club, next to Club 555 it's just open.
Stopped at the Naughty Club last night on my way back to my hotel. Five or six younger thin girls out front with at least as many inside. Bought a beer and lady drink and inquired about in site prices. 350 bar fine with 1000 for full service. Was quoted 1000 bar fine until 2:00 am then drops to 500,1500ST and 2000 LT. Decided to go next door to 555 and save 50 bath on the bar fine. The room upstairs is large with king size bed and couch.

Location is good for me less than a block from the Centra where I am staying.

There is a new club? In the LK Metro called " Friends " the old Office Go Go location. I went by Monday thinking it was going to be another GoGo, but it is an open-air club with pool tables and a few a platform pole dancing. There were a number of Agency / Coyota / Model girls sitting in the front for eye candy I went up to one of them for conversation indicated to me that the owners trying to be like a smaller version of I-Bar?
For those that have visited during the time: how is pattaya the week of Christmas? Have booked 23-27 (been many times before but only between March-October) December. Hotel price wasnt bad at all but how's the crowd during that week? Extreme or do-able? Or does it more so increase after the week of Christmas? Thanks.
I thinking of going around that time my self.

F. why. I.

Confirmed Peppermint GoGo, closing this month there is a For Rent sign for the space outside.
Confirmed Peppermint GoGo, closing this month there is a For Rent sign for the space outside.
Pretty sure I've seen a For Rent sign outside of Peppermint in the past. Maybe the owner puts it up whenever the tenant doesn't confirm they are renewing the lease. I hope Peppermint doesn't close. It's the furthest gogo bar on Walking Street. Yes, I don't count Living Dolls. I never walk past Peppermint since there are no gogo bars that come to mind beyond that.

Bar fine: 1000 bhat until 2:00 am then drops to 500 bhat.

Girl: 1500 for short time and 2000 all night.

Upstairs:

Bar Fine 350 bath.

Girl: 1000.

I assume this is similar to Soi 6 prices.

Greetings fellow mongers,

I'm going to be there in pattaya and Bangkok next week. I would appreciate if I get any leads as to where to go. And rates in the city. Thanks.

I like the Happy Group but this year when they didn't have their annual Songkran event for all their clubs I knew they were hurting a bit. This event is put on for all their staff and special invitees and it is huge with a live band and prizes are given out all night.

It is a well-run operation but made a few mistakes in the last few years in my opinion and that was closing Beach and moving it right next door to Happy building a custom space in an impossible configuration then within a year doing another renovation and just last year closing more renovation combining it with Happy. During that period they also did a renovation on Peppermint, Bacarra and made an addition of the Sake Bar in front of the Happy entrance walkway. I also believe the ST room Oasis belongs to them too. I give them credit for trying to keep things fresh.

Downsizing might be the best thing for them usually during the renovation they move girls to their other clubs so maybe someone favority girl will end up at Bacarra or Happy. I know many of the girls enjoy working for the Happy Group.

Last night,

Walking Street, Wildcats is in fact closed, space where Crazy House located closed now reopened as Pascha, Harem down from Pin Up now closed.

Thanks for the updates LittleBigMan. I can't believe all the changes. I never had much luck in Happy Group places like Peppermint and Happy as the girls seemed to prefer Asian customers. On my last trip that seemed to change for the better. For me at least.
