Anyone got any info on joiner fees for Shama Sukhumvit Soi 2?
I did email them about being guest friendly and they did reply saying they are but I've been hit up before with this being the case.
Even if they do charge with it being a service appartment I'm hoping I can sneak in after reception is closed.

The location seems perfect, its really close to the train station and soi cowboy is right behind it. I tried searching this thread for a review to no success. Has anyone stayed here in the past, or know anything about it?

I asked a question about a hotel said I've been charged a joiner fee from hotels I've been told don't charge one and made a joke in the last sentence. That's it. I then find the only reply is an insult from you.

E. G. I once showed up to Admiral Premier with 3 girls, and reception didn't bat an eyelid.
At GF places, the security might ask to see the girls I'd Cards, so make sure they are over 18 before going to your Hotel.

I have stayed there. Good price, Nice hotel, gf, incredible location. I would recommend it for location alone. Go there and try it. If you don't like it you can move elsewhere. But I doubt you will.
Want to try another place with a great location. Check out On8 at the Nana BTS station. I've never stayed there but looked at the rooms. It's another place that offers good value with modern rooms.

I am looking for a short time hotel (or a cheap normal hotel) around suk soi 24-26. If any direct experience of allowing 2 girls at the same time even better.
Any suggestions?

Do any of you have any recommendations for a two bedroom suite near the action? Looking to stay within a reasonable distance to Soi Cowboy and the Nana Plaza.
Doesn't need to be a 5 star hotel, just looking for two bedrooms and a living room / kitchen area. Saw the Pan Pacific Serviced Suites. Looks reasonable. Any other hints?
Not bringing a family, just wanted a bigger party area in the room.

Duni[/QUOTE]With respect Duni, I don't believe he exactly answered his own question. Although the Hotel said they were GF, he was not sure whether to believe them, having been burned before by bullshit email replies (I guess). Therefore he was merely seeking a 2nd confirmation.
Thais will sometimes say "yes" to anything to get your booking. We all know that different staff in the same Hotel can be inconsistent. Also miss communication is easily possible.
Personally, I have never emailed a Hotel to ask, but was only caught out badly once, when discovered that Bangkok Palace (Makasan) was Chinese and family oriented.
