Looking at the videos it seems CM has many more beautiful women but that's because its a University town so there are lots of well off, educated young girls there. Even if some of these girls were up for paid fun I don't have the time nor inclination for this kind of endeavour.

I'm also not a fan of MPs and much prefer the girl to attend my hotel room so that means I'll be looking at beer bar / bar fine scene.

At the moment, and going purely on YT vids I have watched, I get the inpression that HH has a bigger scene for this.

So before I book my HH trip if anyone thinks I have got it wrong and CM is better please let me know.

One thing in my favour is that I'm a very occasional monger so virtually any woman looks hot to me LOL. I also prefer slightly older women (30's) and also quite like them a little chubby. So I won't be hunting for 8's or 9's. An enthusiastic warm hearted 6 is usually enough for me.

Of course there are beer bars and few clubs but it can be hit or miss. I last went there in 2019 and had a good time. I met a lady from Koh Samui at Spicy Club who came back to my hotel with no money asked (of course I had to buy her dinner and few drinks. Set me back by 2 k B).

I met another girl while wrapping up spicy and going to a shady closed door disco. She came back to my hotel for ST but no money discussed. She took 1 k be while leaving citing it was her birthday. She was a sweet thick young Thai lady.

Third one was a girl bar fined from a beer bar near boxing ring. Hilarious and no money asked first night. Second night she went mental so I dumped her at a bar and left.

It's going to be a hit or miss depending on your luck. Not sure about Hua Hin as never been there. What about Phuket or Hong Kong?

There are three small areas in HH where you can bar fine girls and it's easy. CM is a bigger city and most of the bar fine action is located around Loi Kroh road. Just my 2 cents.

Rawai Beach or Naiharn in Phuket.

Ao Nang in Krabi.

[/QUOTE]Consider Lamai Beach, Koh Samui. I know Samui very well and I know Hua Hin well enough. I know Chiang Mai just a little bit. Of those 3 places, Lamai Beach has the most options within a short walk of each other. You even get a nice beach as an added bonus (plausible deniability). The red light districts are at the boxing stadium, across the street, and about 200 meters to the south. Select your hotel accordingly and you won't need a car or motorcycle.

The best way to get to Samui is Bangkok Air plus taxi.

Phuket has good options, you should read that section of this forum. I do not recommend AoNang (Krabi) because the red light district is microscopic.

Just to make things clear; I know Thailand quite well, I've been about 10 times over about 25 years. Have been to many of the Islands and have travelled north as well. Every trip has been with family, so zero mongering was done.

I'm from Europe but will be in India on official business and from there will fly to Thailand to 'catch some sun and destress'. That's the official line anyway LOL.

That's why I can't head to Pattaya. But to be honest having watched some videos I'm not sure Pattaya is for me even if I could go, I'm in my 50's and prefer a more chilled vibe.

Quite a few people have suggested Phuket. Funnily enough despite having been to Thailand so many times I've never been there. I did look into it briefly (mainly YT) but again Bangla St, Patong looks like the kind of place I'd find fun for one night and then it would do my head in.

The YT vids also suggested that prices were out of control there and its become a massive tourist trap.

I've done a little bit more reading this morning of the Phuket forum and it seems like there are places (like Rawai) that are away from the madness of Patong where the vibe is more relaxed and prices reasonable.

I'll do some more reading of the Phuket forum, thanks for suggesting it.

Hua Hin was on my mind as it's so easy to get to from Bangkok so less time of my trip would be wasted in travelling.

I'm a non-alcohol guy, and stay at a family-run guesthouse where I cannot bring ladies to my room. So it is fine with me that the bar & club scene is not that great in CM. Since I love the fun of a massage parlor and not always kowing what ending is possible, I love Chiang Mai. And what happens really depends on the chemistry between you and the lady, this is the key (as most of you know). There are the shops on Loi Kroh where it is mostly teasing and handjobs, but sometimes more (and for me, since I know the lay of the land here, more than "sometimes" and there are the full service shops on Kamphaengdin Road. There are also what I refer to as the "assembly line" more impersonal body-to-body full service shops like Pink X, Queen Club, Absolute, Dolphin, etc. that I think I'll try this winter. But I'm getting pussy almost every night, and having a very good time with the ladies, some of whom I have known for 7 or 8 years. And some days, after a long and difficult hike up in the jungle / forest, I'm just a little too tired, and a massage with HJ is just fine.

So, a summary: CM bar / club scene not so great in comparison to BKK, Pattaya, etc. If that is your thing, think elsewhere. Massage parlors in CM offer everything from very good massages only to very good massages plus HJ, BJ, FS.

Between these two places, if I were forced to make a decision, I would go to Hua Hin. Stay at Visa hotel. Short walk to a large market for beer and groceries. Very short walk to Soi 80. There are at least 50 bars on Soi 80 with many ladies all around.

I have found that many of the ladies in the masage parlors on Loi Kroh (mostly not full service) and Kamphaengdin (mostly full service) do better massages that many of the legit places in the old city or in the non-erotic places. I like a good massage after a day of hiking or exploring the city and temples, etc. But why pay the same for a mediocre massage when I can have a better massage for the same prioce plus an erotic ending for a little extra. Most of the ladies in Chiang Mai have no description in their profile, and state "any" for the age range they are looking for. By reading what others here have experienced in Pattaya and Bangkok, no text in the profile and "any" for requested age likely means freelancer. When I reach out to many of these ladies, they say they are looking for a long-term relationship. Suggestions?

Also, ThaiFriendly is not all that great of a website / app. The app on Android does not show profiles well or completely. The web version is better, but when I search, say on "massage" I get a lot of hits, and when I open their profile, there is NO text that says "massage. " Sometimes (rarely) I'll see "I'm not massage or freelance" but typically there is no "massage" in the text. I'm wondering what the search is seeing that I cannot see. Sometimes I search on "freelance" and when I reach out, they tell me it (whatever "it" is) says they are not freelance. So it seems there is some text that I do not see from the web version or the app on Android. Not the best web site, but still fun. Just wish there were more open ladies in Chiang Mai on the site.
