It is right on the metro from the airport, and is pretty convenient to Jardim and some of the other girls I've found. And its easy to get to the touristy areas as well.

For big rooms in a hotel by the sea (actually the river), I really like the Myriad by Sana. It does require elevator key cards, but the lobby is big and nobody gives a shit who you bring up as a guest as long as you have your elevator key card. The myriad by Sana hotel is not really in the party district, but is more in the traditional on the river touristy area. The party area is Bairro Alto, and Bairro Alto Hotel is always ranked as the best hotel in that neighborhood.
