Just go see her the following night.

Had this stuff happen to me as well. Line messaging gogo girls to go eat after work. When I arrive at the bar as the bar is closing I am told she was barfined hours ago. Girl I was to meet to go eat doesn't message me to tell me she's been barfined. No big deal since she's actually making money. I just ask another gogo girl if they're hungry. The answer is ALWAYS yes.

Pattaya is a go with the flow kind of town. A lot of improvisation is required.

I know that you can not turn a hooker into a housewife, but if you could, then the first step would be not to take her back to the same hooker bar where you met her. That is like taking a drug addict to hang out at a dope house. You are never going to get them off drugs that way.

[/QUOTE]In Makati, my repeat Go Go girls show much less loyalty to their Go Go's than in Thailand and will happily make some excuse at work and come visit me at my hotel during their bar's working hours thus completely cutting the bar out of the barfine. But I have never had a Thai Go Go girl do likewise for me ie come visit me during her bar's working hours without including the barfine. NEVER and it is not like I haven't tried countless times. 555. Sure, all of my repeat BKK & Pattaya Go Go girls will gladly come see me before their work shift or after their work shift sans the barfine, but never during working hours. Maybe the reason for the difference in behavior between MNL and Thai Go Go hookers is cultural or maybe the reason is that the Makati barfine is set too high above what the market will bare and that fact encourages the girls to go grey market with their repeat customers. I don't know.

But what I do know is that if I want my hot little BKK or Pat Go Go girl prime time between 8 pm and 2 am, I am going to have to pay the barfine for the convenience. If you have found some way to get around that with Go Go girls Mr. E. I take my hat off to you, but I think not. Hostess girls may be another story, but I don't fool around with Hostess girls that much.

The OP has a right to feel pissed off. The girl did not keep her date with him. But c'est la vie. I would move on and forget about her. There are many more fish in the sea. I have experienced this sort of thing in La Belle, BKK and Hotel Alexis, Jakarta where a "date" or more accurately an appointment with a favorite repeat girl was not honored. In both cases I showed up on time to find the girl busy with another customer. I was disappointed because I expected both of the girls to wait for me. That's why I made the "date." I wanted to have them at their freshest.

In the La Belle case I took a different sideline girl rather than wait. After my session my original girl saw me leave and texted me asking why I had not waited for her. I explained why and that was that. No problem. So I saw her again on another occasion and this time she honored our appointment and was waiting for me off stage when I arrived.

In the Hotel Alexis case the mamasan apologised to me profusely for not allowing my girl to wait for me and she offered me a special private edition girl as a way to make up for the slight. Even if she's in the hospital.

Some gogo bars have ridiculous penalties for girls like 100 baht for each minute the girl is late for her shift. 300 baht for losing her number tag. A few thousand baht for losing her outfit.

You look at it as I don't care what is going on, I want this chick at this very moment. My girlfriend works at the cell phone company at Central Festival. At 2 pm I want her to go see a movie with me. I am well aware that she works from 11 am to 9 pm, so why would I even have it in my mind to want her to go to an afternoon cinema with me?

As mongers (vacation mongers in particular), sometimes we lose sight of normal life. I am not an, "I have to have it right now" guy. I am more of an "I have no problem waiting until it's available" guy; such as waiting until my girlfriend finishes work to go to the movies. Besides, there are thousands of other chicks around. Why do you just have to have that one that you know good and well is busy at the time?

As you said the barfine is for the convenience. I am not one to be paying that much for something to be convenient. There is a restaurant called Chick-Fil-A. They are closed on Sundays. I have a taste for Chik-Fil-A today. My taste is not that strong that I will call up the manager and offer $200 extra for him to go into the store and make me a sandwich. I have no problem choosing something else that I don't have to pay a convenience fee for and just waiting for tomorrow when I know Chik-Fil-A will be open and I can pay a normal price.

In some cases a chick I have met at the disco has told me that she paid 1000 baht barfine to the gogo she works at on Walking Street in order to leave and go party, then she comes home with me all night for the same 1000 baht.

Maybe NB is giving the chicks in Manila enough money so that they are able to cover the penalty they have there, if there is any.

But what do I know? Girls say things. I listen. I don't pay it much mind as long as I am getting what I want.

It is good to live in Thailand. I plan on making the move sometime in the next 5 years.

They would go with any other guy that was in the disco just the same. Rarely would I even tell a chick that I meet in the disco that I live in Pattaya. When they come back to my place they see a painting of me on the wall, see the 25 bottles of liquor that I have on top of the refrigerator, see my 15 pair of shoes and all my stuff and ask you stay here long time?

The thing about Pattaya is that chicks are not always just out to make money. Sometimes they want to party. Sometimes chicks may not even go with me, instead saying I want to party with my friends. That is why I don't go around buying all those drinks for chicks. You never know what you will end up with. Just go with the flow.

Many partying girls will be happy to pay their own drinks in discos (and tip the waiters well). They may turn down 3 K from some guy just to go with some other guy for 1. 5, or they will just go home and sleep. Unless rent is due, party on.

Some girls have a nest egg saved up. Top girls can pull in more money than the average Westerner. Some girls have sponsors that allow them to party more. Some girls live at the bar or have 2 roommates. It's not unheard of for girls to take the whole summer off.
