Personally I welcome the closing of the street bars and the early closing times. Why? Early closing times even at places like Insanity force gals on the game to find a customer. In the first bar we sat at right above soi 5 a fight with bottles broke out almost as soon as we sat down and we thought it wise to find another place to have a drink and walked away quickly to the sound of breaking glass. As we sat in the next place right at soi 5 the night denizens passed us in all their finery and misery. A true journey into darkness. You could try Chula Pharmacy on Thanon Rama IV, between Surawong and Silom (closer to Surawong on that side of the road). Sala Daeng BTS or Silom MRT. It's been a couple of years since I was there, tbh, but their produce was genuine (generics and branded) and inexpensive. Not sure if they'll supply aprazolam, but if you have a script it's worth a try.
