And I have read that living off the income of a prostitute in the absence of any other means of support unless that person is the charge or responsibility of support of the prostitute is illegal.

But I have yet to see a citation in the Thai Penal Code for it being illegal for anyone paying someone else for sex unless the provider of sex is under age 18 or, possibly 15 being the age limit or for it to be illegal to be paid for sex under the above limitations.

Yes, there is some wording about not forcing or coercing someone yo do whatever against their will or pretending to be someone else and all that.
