You and I know that! but the discussion that is ongoing I wonder if the other posters know what they are posting. On one hand they say indirectly money is no object and then start reasoning as to why and using words like cost effective. I don't agree 100% with Bonzo1, at least he honestly responds that he does it for the " Variety " but even then he makes a contradiction when it comes to money. Here again is where things get complicated. It depends what you mean by "to pay too much for eggs." Do you mean paying more than the market price or do you mean not paying more than the lowest price at which eggs may be available? That's a very important difference.

It's like this: If the price of a carton of eggs is $1.30 in most supermarkets and I pay more than that IN A SUPERMARKET, then I have overpaid because the posted price is $1.30. That could happen, but it's not likely. However, if I pay $1.80 for a carton of eggs at the deli across the street from my apartment, I haven't overpaid. I have paid a premium for the convenience of getting the eggs without going 10 blocks to the nearest supermarket. By the same token, if one supermarket is offering a special on eggs at $1.00 a carton, I haven't been ripped off by paying $1.30 at the closet supermarket - I just haven't gotten eggs at the lowest price possible.

I think we all over pay at one time, we are all newbie once you over paid and don't even know that you over paid, I been coming to Thailand for over 15 yr, the first time I was in Bangkok in 1994 I over paid and got rip off by tout but it is still alot cheaper than p4p in the US and I have a great time and you learn from your experience.

Well, I suppose I do over pay sometimes, but that is still consistent with my favorite method of operation. When I spot a new beauty in a go-go bar, for example, I’ll pay her bar fine plus as much as 500 baht for a short time room on the bar premises in addition to the amount she agrees upon for her “fee” in order to test drive her for performance and GFE.

If all goes well, and she passes the test, I’ll ask for her cell phone number and her willingness to come to my condo for more sessions in the future.
