The corrupt will only want to grow their share if they see success! It will never end. They eventually kill the goose with the golden eggs. Everybody loses.

They are really just criminals on the "right" side of the law. Often people get framed up for crimes as its much easier than finding the real culprits. Its great for Police when activities in Cowboy are not strictly legal. Police can either get a big earnings boost or just shut them down.

E. g. Police are coming. Person with drugs quickly stashes it in someone else's bag. That innocent person then does a couple of years for high drug possession. Police are known to plant the evidence themselves when they want to get someone.

The number of Farangs involved in murders or "suicides" in Thailand that do get properly investigated or reported is extraordinary.
