I am planning on spending a couple of days in Bangkok in March of next year. I am planning a business trip around some things and would have the option of spending a couple days mid-week or over a weekend. I can plan things how I would like. I am not into big crowds and party scene, my gut is telling me that I would have a more relaxed and enjoyable time visiting on a Tuesday and Wednesday. This works well for me in Tijuana for example. I know it's not much time, I will plan things out, but not too much and want to come away with just a little of the flavor of Bangkok and then proceed on to Singapore. Any advice welcome, also, any holidays or festivals I need to be aware of?

Now, I have read through this forum and will also ask a lazy question I suppose. If you had just two full days in Bangkok, what would you do?

I certainly have the Eden club on my radar but may be looking for a kinder, gentler experience. I definitely want to get some Thai food and think that a combination of street vendors and a nice restaurant or two will provide a nice experience. Won't be going until March, lots of time.

Much will depend what you want and unless you can keep active for the full 90 minutes (which at my age is no longer possible), there is ample opportunity to hug & cuddle too and recover your breath.
