Have added Som's haven as an alternative. Besides I am going to be doing a lot of walk through and would indulge only if I feel like. Not going to complete the act only as a formality or out of compulsion of having entered the joint.
I am not impressed with Thermae and Biere garten. Both peak in the last evening and still have hopeless quality.
I am wondering if there is any point in visiting Gullivers during afternoon around 2/3 pm for freelancers?
Or is the quality same as in Beer Garten?
And I guess that's about it for freelancers during day time or am I missing some other venue?

Visit Guilliver between 17:00 and 21:00 and you can score for sure. Some girls come with a (female) friend and have some food there. If you can connect with them you will be surprised what is possible. Enjoy.
Personally I like Guillivers much more then Beergarden.
I've read about street walkers in other locations than the Sukhumvit area somewhere in this Bangkok thread but I can't seem to find it back. Can anybody help me out? I believe it was in China Town or in the vicinity of some MRT or BTS station, I'm not sure.
I want to broaden my horizon next time I'm in Bangkok.

There will be more ladies at Beergarten in the afternoon. I like to have a drink outside at one of the venue's on Soi 7 and watch them come and go. This allows for a better look at their bodies, and for me makes it easier to pick a winner rather than the dark noisy sea of ladies inside the bar. Follow her into the bar and be the first to approach her. This method requires patience.
The open air bars along Soi 4 near the Nana Hotel will aways have some FL's during the day, but it is not peak time and generally hit or miss.

[/QUOTE]In Chinatown, streetwalkers are on streets and alleyways around Wong Wian 22 (yee-sip song), then down on to Charoen Krung and Soi Texas (one with the seafood). Look in smaller streets as well. If you go by MRT get out at Hualamphong and walk over the canal. Google map: [URL]http://goo.gl/R7wDP0[/URL].
Khlong Lot is another streetwalker area, south of Khao San Road. Cross Rachadamnoen Klang (big road parallel to Khao San), and you're there. Some workers on Rachadamnoen Klang itself, and more in the slum south of it (focused around Hotel 39 and another whose name I don't recall), which stretches for several blocks. Starts out OK, then the farther south you go, the more scary it becomes (up to the point of 200 baht grannies and 40 baht no-bahtroom shacks). Google map: [URL]http://goo.gl/BqGZW0[/URL].
Both areas are distinctively low-end, and oriented almost entirely towards Thais. Costs normally 300-700 baht, plus 70-120 for the short time hotel (depending on quality). Some daytime action as well.
Prices are low, some girls look fine (others scary), and service is generally quite poor (a shower and a starfish quickie, often no BJ), with occasional exceptions. Some years ago, I would strongly recommend against these places, but nowadays service on Sukhumvit is going to shit as well and quality of girls is poor, so given the cheap price, may well try.
The area is not particularly Farang-friendly. Some girls (and even some hotels), may reject you, especially if you don't speak Thai, but most still don't mind your business.
Word of caution. Be extra careful in these areas, and do NOT go there drunk. While you're generally safe just walking around the area, in case of dispute with a girl (over money, service or theft), things can get ugly quickly. This is especially true of Chinatown, I've seen Thai punters smacked around by thugs, and heard of girls stealing (so watch your possessions at all times). Be ready to cut your losses and get out.
It's not for the faint of heart, nothing like the vibe of Sukhumvit or Pattaya, but still fun to look around (perhaps more than to actually go with the girls from there, although at 500 baht / pop, it's hard to go wrong).

I would not describe them as street walkers. Most of the johns visiting the location were Thai. The best time to go was late. There were many attractive girls there. Supposedly some of them also worked in the soapies. Few Farangs went there but those who did were not unwelcome.
Day time, 10 am-4 pm. Where is a good place to pick up a lady, will be staying near the Asia Hotel.

None of us would stay in that area. Technically Chao Phraya 3 Soapy is not far away (less than 2 km), but on other side of river. Don't know what time the girls start arriving. Not as early as 10 AM I am sure.
At night maybe can pick cheap street walker ladies around Sanam Luang. During the day? Probably not.
I guess you need to find some suspect massage shops in the area.

Have seen the girls many times when passing in a Taxi. Not sure of current prevalence.
