I'm not at all alergic to meeting a girls sister, cousin, best-friend, etc. More often than not the one you meet through her develops this burning desire to prove she's much more fun and that you should be laying her instead. Unlike North America, here the girls compete with each other to try to get (and keep) you.

Great story. I'd love to hear the details of that one.

I've had several dates where the chaperones were more interesting, or more attractive (or both) than the target. I wouldn't know how to handle changing the target, and not sure I want to try. Sounds messy.

I generally agree that if they want to bring the chaperone a second time, best to cut your losses, unless you have lots of time and/ or happen to be serious about a relationshiop.

Nevertheless, I had a girl in Davao who ALWAYS had the chaperone - her cousin of the same age. This country (Philippines) is a dichotemy. It's traditionally "conservative", but the last 2 or so generations have necessitated promiscuity to be a necessary survival trait. Evolution, survival of the fittest, has shown those that "didn't" that those who "did" now generally have better lives for themselves and their families. Go figure!

Age? Mostly doesn't matter or works in your favour.
Foreigner? *YOU* are exotic to Pinays!
Money? Good bet that even if you're poor where you come from you're rich here.
Love? You're one of the above and you love them and they're not gold-diggers?

The ladies all think we are rich.The problem is I never met a poor man in the P.I. Most of the guys there and guys I know from the states living on 1-2 thousand us. dollars per month are telling great stories of there well to do status.And they were mostly working class here.Why not try being nice and telling the truth?

I'm in Glorietta mall writing this and I've met one FH girl already since I got here on Sat night, with another one scheduled for later today.

How sincere is your girl (rhetorically)? Does she really want to just have you get her into a western country and cut you loose?
