Juazeiro, Bahia/Petrolina, Pernambuco? That's quite a distance from Salvador. I guess it's good to know about Challako if you want a break travelling from Fortaleza to Rio or Sampa.

I used to pass Juazeiro a lot (before the prices on national flights got cheaper). Even though I never stopped for more than 30 minutes in Juazeiro I always had a good feeling about these two neighboring cities.

Unfortunately this area is very (un-)famous for having lots of assaltos on buses. Maybe it's Lampiãos grandkids making their fortune in the sertão?

This place is pretty cool. I went there once for this big Pagode party with a live band. There were TONS of girls in there...regulars and pros and semi-pros. It was great. This was when Casquina was open regularly, and the action blew it away...it was more of a club and not a dining place that Casquina is...I think the party nights are Fridays...

On the girls' pages, there's a stat called "Cachê". I've never seen this word in Portuguese before, and I think it might mean "price", but I'm not sure since there's no mention of currency units.

The reason I ask is that the "Cachês" seem to be a little bit steep... anywhere from 300,00-350,00 ! Salvador street and casa prices are very different to the prices asked by the agencies on the net - the girls usually work at casas - there you pay normally for one hour 100 Reais - and the same girl called over through this "Elite" - agency will cost you incl. taxi easy 300 RS. I prefer to go to the casas in Salvador - or to clubs. Some of the brothers on the board advised that Cascinha de Siri is open again - there and at the road in front as well as near Aero Clube you find a lot of girls for 100 - 150 TLN. Please be aware that Salvador is "darker" than Rio, so do not expect loiras.

Yes, Cachê means "rate". That's the term escorts commonly use in Brazil.

I usually stay at the Blue Tree Tower-Hotel at Rio Vermelho.

I never had a problem bringing girls in as long as they are dressed decently and as long as you do not show up with them at breakfast - there they check your room-number against the guest-list.

BTW - in Rio Vermelho there are some good casas to monger. Not too far away from all the attractions.

I simply walk the girls in.

The hotel is on a hill overlooking Rio Vermelho. The reception is on the third floor as you walk in. There are a lot of people moving constantly in and out. If you walk a girl in during the day - who will stop you bringing a girl to go to the roof-bar/swimming-pool? What knob you hit then in the lift is your business.

In this hotel are also a lot of events which are going until mid-night. So nobody pays any attention to you - as long as the girl is not too obviously dressed.
