Hi Guys,
I will be in Helsinki on 12the and 13th Sept.
I used to love going to Mikado, but understand it is no longer there.
Have read about Alcatraz and Soho - could someone please advise me what is best for Tues and Weds nights. Also, are the 2 clubs walking distance from each other and what time does the action start?
Last time I went to Mikado the overnight rate was 250 - 300 Euros. Is this still about right. I usually stay in the centre (used to be walking distance from Mikado) is that still preferable?
Many Thanks in advance.
Both clubs are in a walking distance from city centre, they are about 400 meters
from where mikado used to be.
Soho is more like mikado, it doesn´t have any shows and all drink prices are solid.
Soho is at street called "ratakatu",you can find map from their homepage:

Alcatraz is a strip club. Personally I don´t like that they have "ladydrinks" on their drinklist. (If you are willing to buy a drink to a lady be ready to pay 450 euros...)
It is located at street called "eerikinkatu"
They are very different in sizes: alcatraz takes only 200 customes when soho can take 900.
Average price in helsinki at this moment is more like 100-200€/hour.
Also a good place to find freebies of any age is Sokos Hotel Vantaa.
It´s ~18 km away from city centre of helsinki but definetly worth it!
There is every weekend 3000 customers/night, and they are from 20 to 50.
A cemetery has more action.

Viljo - please say what you feel is the current going rate.
Many Thanks
Well guys I was disappointed with the whole experience and I have to say that whilst SOHO is an excellent replacement for Mikado, the quality of women is pathetic. Most of the women were 3-4s with maybe one 8, with whom I spoke she wanted 500 for the night, 200 for an hour and 300 for 2 hours. Bit price for Helsinki I thought and moved on. I can honestly say I would not have slept with 90% of the women there for free. The women are old, cynical and money grabbing. Not the owner's fault but a major problem from the customer angle.
I meta guy at the bar and seeing it was around 1am and I had been ther a couple of hours, he suggested we try Alcatraz. So off we went, on inital view it was friendlier and had slightly better and younger women. But nothing special. I finally ended up with a 35 yr old from St Petersberg called Svetlana, she wears her hair in a blonde bob and has a pretty face but definately the body of her years.
We did a deal for 300 all night, seeing it was now after 2am. Went off to my hotel. She drank two more Whiskies from my minibar and we finally got to some business. I had agreed iwth her that it would be GFE and she said she was up for it. Turns out she won't kiss at all, no DATY, she even had a problem with being fingered gently. I got on to after an okay covered bj and rammed her hard for about 5 minutes to a satisfacory climax for both of us.
After about 20 mins I reached for her breast and she declined saying she was a not a machine but was looking forward to more sex in the morning and that we should try and sleep as it was now 3 am. I must have dropped off for a few minutes but woke to rustling, she got dressed and left in the dark, actually she made quite aa lot of noise but I peretend to be asleep.
Very average experience with basically a crook. She took the 300 Euros and scarpered after an hour. From now I'm gonna say, 200 upfront rest in the morning. Well I do feel ripped off for 100 Euros but frankly I didn't want to fight her for it. Being from the old school and having had much better punts perviously in Helsinki, I take the view that it's not wronth the trouble unless the girl is up for it too.
Shame really but I left the next day feeling ripped off and disappointed. Some you win, some you lose. But Helsinki has majorly gone downhill!

Hi at all,
I'll be in Helsinki in the next weeks, mid 20's, a bit shy. I would like to find some company for (maybe not yet) cold finnish nights. Would you please tell me some places where catching freebies wouldn't be a mission impossible? I'll be new up there, so still don't know the local customs. Offering a drink to break the ice would it be seen as a no-no?
Thanks a lot for all.
Ask your friends (or hotel) to recommend a restaurant that offers "Päiväkahvit" (afternoon coffee). You ought to be able to find unattached women, many of them pros but not all. Dance a bit with them and negotiate until you reach the "Your-place-or-mine" stage.
I doubt very much, however, that as a short-time visitor you will have much luck with freebies.

Hi all,
Due to some "conflicting" reports (in this forum, but also among some people that I know), I'd like to start a new discussion about this Sokos hotel Vantaa. I'm planning to go there around mid november for 1 Week-end. Is it really worth it? And what about the weekdays?
Thanks in advance.

Please see my report on the general info page.
In short, this law was not approved in the parliament.
That said, buying sex from restaurant, on the street, from anyone forced to sell sex or from anyone under 18 is illegal. Also, buying and selling sex is always illegal when pimping is involved.
I really don't know where you picked up this old piece of garbage; anyway, it's untrue.

Julien02,
Sokos Hotel Vantaa is great fun for freebies but there is no pay-for-play action.

J
Hi Julien,
Also I'd like to recommend Hotel Vantaa. Especially Friday & Saturday nights there'll be lots freebies coming to party from other southern Finland cities too, among locals. Even some travel agencies advertizes one-night "sailings" in the famous Cinderella simulator, or drilling works - favourite place has many nicknames ;)
If you don't care about quality.
Nonsense. By 200eur/hr you'll get pretty good service nowadays from any foreign pro in Helsinki. Of course guys complain the quality of girls e.g. in Soho, but so far I have had fairly good experiences. Just got to be there soon enough to catch what you want - at 3 am you'll need some beers in any place to make girls available look like 18 yrs models. And after too many beers nobody is very interested to serve you well after all.
300 eur/2 hr is normal asking, but not usually a problem to have overnight for that price after negotiating and if the night's going to over soon anyway.
