I've been looking through this forum for a nice bbs in Shanghai, and somewhat all the massive information just overwhelm me to a point of confussion. I'll be staying in Holiday Inn Downtown near the railstation next week, this is my 2nd stay in shanghai. First one was two years ago at the same hotel, only managed to get service through the room massage which was not very entertaining and cost me 1,000 (yikes!)

This time I'd like to wonder around, and managed to sort out few places based on reports from few brothers here:

1. Shanghai Hotel
2. World Plaza B2
3. 999
4. Sacrosa

Am I missing something from the list or is there any other place recommended? I'm looking for a relaxing place with nice facilities/girls and since I can't speak or read any Chinese, language would be a problem. What's the standard procedure in getting into this place and damage cost? I just don't want to get rip off by agreeing into something that I don't understand.

8 in Chinese has the connotation of 'lucky' or maybe 'happy'. Maybe it is clever branding? Or just the old 0.99 trick?

I read before that here it's somewhere around 220 RMB.

How would you compare the facilieties with Peacock?

now you ring up the topic, i have been to sauna & bbs in shanghai but never to ktv. there is also not much on that in the forum.

couple of questions:

- is it nice and common to go alone?

You picked the right 4 places, another one would be the Heting Elite sauna, just new and in my opinion the best in terms of luxury.

From your list my favorite is 999, best and largest selection of girls (again IMHO).

Prices are fixed, so dont worry about rip-off, it differs per place between 600-800 RMB for about 70 min.

Yes, there is Menu. RMB228 is the most expensive and that is what you want. I would rate Garden house faciliities over Peacock, but when I was there, there was no shower.

I don't go often but over time have tried several places. I now stay away from BBS. I always am disappointed. Stopped when ZY lost its charm and its good girls. Don't like to travel to far so like to stay downtown unless there is something exceptional to check out.

The Spas seems to have what I want. The Best recent, last few months, experiences have been to:

WP. Last 2 times great choices and both times winners. Fresh girls, nice bodies, good attitudes. Best consistent attitude among choices.

209 Wulumuchi. Just had a makeover. Great line up of girls, great room for soapies. Girls have a decent attitude, but not quite GFE or PSE. They also just raised their prices to 790 after you get their card. Still, have not been disappointed there. #3 was very cute and #20 gave me the best soapy ever.

Songshan Lu. Half block off huai hai, east side of the street under the arch. First door on right past the gate (arch). Always a good line up. 600 afternoon price is turning out to be a deal. No soapy here. There is a jewel there. Number 525 from Sichuan goes by lanlan. Cute, extremely hot, big C cup tits and really into it. Last time she said she would be going to 999. Best PSE ever.

999. Only went once. It is had the most fabulous lineup of girls and the girl I got was good. Again. Very nice looking, adequate attitude. Good soapy. 680 for the afternoon. Would go back.

SH Hotel. Was disappoointed. Nice lineup. But too busy and too rushed. Probabliy will not go back with the other choices available.
