I got over that by telling who I am meeting this: come alone, we'll meet in a public place, spend a few hours talking, etc. And go from that point. If you bring someone along, I am gone. I once had a gal who was worried about her safety so I showed her my passport number etc. She was comfortable after that. She had no idea it was an old and cancelled passprt number.

I have been going thru the forum trying to get a sense of Phil prices. It seems that 500P = $10USD is the going rate for ST for a SW or a girl in a low end brothel. Can one get a LBFM Spinner 18-24 for that price?

Phils seems expensive for this budget monger. I have heard others paying 2000P = $40 USD to 2500P = $50 and up. This seems outrageous for a third world country like The Philipines.

I am interested in a LBFM Spinner 18-24, something that looks like this:

[post]915578[/post]

What is the going rate for these young LBFM types in venues like Honquera/Jonquera or the street scene?

Is the street scene safe or is it rife with those who tested positive for HIV?

Not a helpful thing to say to a filipino/a. Very few are adults in the sense of emotionally mature by western standards. They are "simple", as they so often call themselves in profiles, that is to say, childlike. Each thinks she is the center of the universe, or at least of your world. That's why they will text you "hello" or whatever without giving a name. "What, you don't know who I am? You must hate me!"

I can offer you a newbie perspective, by that I mean I have been to Cebu a total of four times in the last few years. I normally travel to Thailand but Cebu is an interesting alternative. You can pick up girls in Jonquera for short time for 500, there are lots of posts about this if you look back through the thread. As for HIV I cannot comment on the rates of HIV infection versus infection rates in the clubs, but if you cover up it shouldn't be of concern (not that I always take my own advice :-) ). I have spent a lot of time on foot at night and found quite a few street walkers, though the quality is admittedly very poor and there were quite a few lady boys around. I never felt unsafe or threatened in any way at night time apart from my very first visit to Jonquera (see previous post) however my fears there were unfounded . If you are looking for an active street scene (other than Jonquera) then forget it, Cebu is not the place. I agree with you, I refuse to pay the exhorbitant bar fines in Cebu and then the girl will usually expect a tip on top and I just do not pay those kind of prices. If you want a LBFM try some of the free dating sites like DIA, you can line up dozens of dates ready for your arrival. I often do this and have never been disappointed. Do bear in mind that the girls on DIA would never class themselves as hookers, but they will still expect you to "take care" of them and help them out financially. Remember many of these girls are dirt poor and a little financial help can go a long way. If they stay the night I usually give between 1000 - 1500 depending on the service. On my last visit I met a girl from DIA who was 18 and claimed to be a virgin. She didn't want to stay with me originally but after some perseverance she agreed to stay the night. She later admitted that she had lost her virginity to a Pinoy but that I was her first western guy. Service wasn't brilliant and I gave her 1000 in the morning after breakfast. I felt totally humbled when her sister called me later that day to thank me for the money, as she was able to buy formula milk for her baby. Some of these girls on DIA are very experienced and you can really hit the jackpot with some of them in terms of GFE and having a wild time. I would suggest you try there if finances are limited. Good luck!

You want her to show up alone and she can't use her cell??? That is a red flag to most girls. I have met over 100 from DIA and other sites and 90% bring a friend and it is okay to me. I will buy them lunch and if it like we are going to the room, I toss the friend 100P for a taxi and I have scored with at least 50 and never had one girl or friend say no. I used to report on these girls, until someone on here reported to the DIA girl that I posted on here about her and that he wanted the same things from her:(

We all do our own thing in our own way...what works for one may not work for another. If you read my post.... constantly yaking/texting on her cell phone...I'm gone. Nothing about taking a call or two...I have been with a few mongers who were meeting their catch...only to have them, the gal, text constantly! That's rude. As for meeting alone...we met in a public place and take it from that point. So no one is alone.
You go to a bar, bar fine 'em and you leave alone with her anyway.
Again, your way is fine for you...mine works for me.
I have spent some time sitting in coffee shops and have had gals approach me as you have I am sure...2/3 of her friends with her, no problem. They want to hook up for a 3 some, great. But when I have made the initiial contact via phone or IM, I let her know up front what I expect and I ask her what she expects...it's then her choice to not meet me! If she shows up after we already discussed this with her friends, I leave.
"Jonquerra."

. Then we hit about thirty girls hanging out where the alley abutted on a regular thoroughfare called Jakosalem street..
I've looked at a map of Cebu recently and recall Jonquera st and Jakosalem st are parallel to each other running north-south and don't intersect. As the maps perhaps don't show any alleyways and only large st, I'm assuming these 2 street are connected somewhere. My impression is that the Jonquera scene starts at the corner of Jonquera and Padilla st. or perhaps I was mistaken.

Anyway, from what I gather, ST here is 500p and some had suggested LT was 800p?--but don't know what time they start letting ladies got LT for that price.

Shark

I was in Cebu off and on for about 2 weeks in June early July. I had been to to Jonquera many times 10 to 15 years ago and was keen to see it again.

In the old days it was called the basket ball court and the couart is still there if you get out of the taxi and walk around. I did the walk around, better way to see the chicks that from the back seat of the taxi. One of the boys got me a beer (one of him) and I sat and watched the comings and goings.

I picked 2 girls during 3 visits, Short time P600 with a sweety from Cagayan, next was all nite for 900 for a sweety from Camguin island, both girls were 18 years and new to the trade. I had a gas with both of them and tipped 200 or so as well. Perhaps not as many gals here as back in the 90's but still good and safe.

I stayed mostly at the Marriott, no problem for visitors, often no sign in just a wave at the desk. Several dates joined me at the pool the next morning/afternoon. Good fun. I found sweeties everywhere, the mall, Julianas, KTV's in Lapu Lapu (some nice ones here) a bit more that Jonquera but what the hell. Cebu is still good.

What is the "hit-rate" on DIA ?

You can wast a lot of time chatting with these ladies without any result. By result I mean actual meeting and having sex with them.

Shark
There seems to be a disconnect or a distinction to be made between Jonquerra the street and Jonquerra, the streetwalker district. On a recent post someone said that the streetwalker district used to be called the Basketball Court. Perhaps the location changes from time to time owing to local issues. The girl that I spoke to referred to it as Jakosalem and not Jonquerra. For all I know, there may be two streetwalker sites but I do not think so. The place I walked to from Jonquerra St. was through a maze of alleys to Jakosalem St. I would suggest trying to use Google Earth rather than a map find it. I would try to help but I am currently in Dau, Pampanga at an internet cafe and it is not available here. I definitely did not get the local tarriff and overpaid. I identified myself as a newbie, a freelance contributor, to the International Sex Guide. My only options were to pay or leave emptyhanded.

A Phils newbie is headed for Cebu in 3 weeks and yes I have RTFF.

Question/Advice:

Is there a take out bar/club like LA Cafe in Cebu City or close by?

I'm just not too high on Bikini Bars, Mamasans, Barfines Etc. Like to deal direct.

Thanks to All.
