Hotel Admiral Premier vs Citrus 22. Report
I stayed in both hotels in Feb 2012 so as ro check out both of them.
I was attracted to Citrus 22 as someone had mentioned that this hotel is one of those where one can avoid walk of shame as reception can be bypassed by using life / elevator form fround floor to room directly. True but not the whole truth. There are always 2 security guards present on ground floor plus a rather nosey young dude working as concierge. So what is point of avoiding reception if one still has to pass in front fo three persons? Citrus 22 is newest, construction is very good but smaller than Admiral Premier. Even the King size bed seemed more like queen bed in US.
I liked Admiral much more, had bigger room with options to try various poses, very good breakfast and was cheaper by $5. Besides it location is more secluded. Both hotels are walking distance to SC. Both very G Friendly.
Admiral Premier is clear winner though.
Phachara Suites on Soi 6: Wi-Fi OK as of December 2011
I was looking to book a week in March but I was reading some reviews that said that the in room Internet was not working. Has anyone stayed there lately.
Stayed there the last week in December. The wi-fi worked fine on the fourth floor, and on the eighth floor poolside.
Bunky
Grand President on Sukumvit Soi 11
Anyone know of good places that offer good monthly rates? I'd be looking at a serviced apartment or furnished condo / apartment. Price range up to 25K
Grand President has a range of room and service is very good. Free Wifi, breakfast and other discounts available. Check their website for more info. You can negotiate once you get a quote. 25k may be on the low side for the GP, but depends on the kind of room you want.
