I don't find Mixx pretentious and I don't see that they have an attitude where they are going to try to exclude anyone unless that someone shows up dressed stupidly (t-shirt, shorts, flipflops). Wear a nice shirt and jeans and dress shoes and I think everyone is welcome. It's not special or snooty, just another club.

Here's a glimps of my short visit and thoughts to BKK.

I was in BKK last week and have been going through a lousy jet lag process this past week. My last time in BKK was early 2010 and I did have a great time, I then went to Pattaya for a week and had a better time. My next trip (6 months later) to Asia was to the PI and after the PI I have never been back to BKK until now. There's something about the Philippines and I have really good life long filipino friends in my hometown so I connected to the PI quite strongly.

So now almost 5 years later I am still mongering between So America and the PI mainly, I wasn't thinking Thailand at all but now things in my mind have changed.

A close friend from my old neighborhood has picked up and moved to Chang Mai. I decided to meet him in BKK as part of a bigger trip to Australia then Thailand. After Australia I took my wife to Phuket for 5 days thinking beach time and a little mongering on the side. There's a lengthy Socker TR in the Phuket forum if interested but Phuket turned out to be a joke, tourist town yes, mongering is weak imo. So my last 3 days were spent in BKK and to meet my childhood buddy who is going to Thai language school and has a nice place w / live in GF in CM.

Mind you I am at the age where my thoughts and hopes are to find a place I can retire part time. A place acceptable to my wife and that has ample quality pussy available nearby, w / a beach nearby (the perfect world). Suprisingly so far in my travels BKK is the closest place to my ideal, I was very surprised. I was shocked at how awesome the city was and how I was constantly the target of nice looking Thai ladies. The clubs on Soi Cowboy were equal or better than their counterparts on Burgos, price wise not so much. There were bars w / pool tables you could chill in and let the pussy come to you and then the Go Gos where there was extremely pretty women available. Prices were bit of a joke, 3000 baht for bar 2000 baht for the girl and the top girls might not go w / you. So the Go Gos were a questionable source of good GFE fun. I only spent one night there and did partake of a bargirl at Country Roads. I got lucky w / her bbing otherwise it was cover only for FS. The Country Rd barfine was 400 baht and the lady was more then happy w / 2000 baht. I probably over paid but she was so fresh and sweet.

Later on when you think the nights over and you leave the girly bars you might find yourself at a megshift mobile bar on Sukhumvit. This happened to me and my bud one night. We leave and are stumbling around at 1:30 am and there are 3 ladies at this bar in a parking spot on Sukhumvit. A few drinks later and 2 of the 3 are fucking my brains out at a ST hotel a block away. These 2 were late twenties and just on fire after a few drinks, we had an awesome fuck session. My friend ended up w / the 3rd lady so I walked about 6 blocks back to my hotel at 4:30 am, big smile, back to the wife and happy.

Before I left Thailand I had to return to the Nana Plaza and so I did on my last night and what a change that Soi went through. Four and a half years ago the Soi was a dirty shit street and now it could have been a street in NY off Time Square. The Soi was cleaned up and built up w / new bar after new bar or restaurant. Finally get to NP and it to has been renovated but the layout is still the same, kind of. The women quality here was quite fantastic, many 8"s (or BETTER) dancing on stage but most were drink sluts or looking for Mr K or the like.

So anyway, Thailand is back on my map, lots of top quality pussy w / very little crime in the streets.

Maybe I'm dreaming but I have doubts about AC and the PI in general. In AC there might be 3 8's in the whole town and they certainly won't go w / me. Also the stupid PI laws that are constantly being applied, bar raids, FL scamming. The PI is just a more desperate mongering locale than Thailand it seems to me right now.

Thailand had the better looking pussy, the better food, the better transportation, the safer streets at 2 am. and I have to say there was a lot to like. The one thing that wasn't equal was the friendliness of the ladies hired from the Go Gos. The PI is still # 1 in my favorite nuances w / sweet nice ladies but BKK was a powerful experience. I could see myself living there for a few months a year. I will do some further retirement recon late 2015.

Nothing even close. Even ignoring the girls available, which in truth is not what it used to be, Bangkok is just a great place to live. It has almost everything you could want. The deeper you dig, the more it has. I spent years going all around the world looking for a home to retire to and Bangkok won hands down. I can't think of living anywhere else. But of course it's not for everyone.

Went to Dr BJs today. Early afternoon on a Sunday so only 7 girls to pick from, all at the 1000 baht level.

Rain every day is part of being in Thailand. You just have to assume it will rain for a short time. This is the best time to be there now because not as much rain. If you go doing the rainy season like in September the rain does not stop.

I finally am back home and left my Vietnam and Thailand vacation. I did want to post that now Bangkok has a ton of freelancers now. More more than October. I was having so much fun I did not want to leave.

Raja hotel- I splurged and went with like 6 Russian girls doing my trip. The cost is 2600 or 3100. But once you pay 3100 once the 2600 fee seems to disappear. So try to remember the faces when they first tell you prices. One guy I was taking with was quoted 3600 baut. Anyway, the Russian girls and some Ukraine were extremely beautiful. I got my money worth with each girl. I was never rushed. Much better service than my previous experiences with the raja girls. One Russian girl let me bang her for an hour straight and even started to kiss me. I asked her at the end why she spend so much time with me? She said "what do I have to go back to go sit and wait for customers. " such a fun time.

Grace hotel- the majority of girls that work there are non Thai and work sitting in the coffee shop inside the hotel waiting for customers. The girls were average looking some really pretty. I approached one girl and she wanted 3000 baut. They just want to much money her. I just walked. As I was leaving. Because I was the only non Muslim in the hotel I would get dirty looks from the Muslims. As I walked out the door of the hotel 5 Muslims were walking in and one guy gave me this evil look like I just beat his mom and he was going to kill me. How can someone be so angry in Thailand? Anyway huge amour of Muslim tourists in Bangkok. In front of grace hotel two muslim woman covered head to toe in outfit were working and try to get me to go with them. They were not hot and overweight but I could not even imagine walking with them in front of the Muslim guys. I don't know what would happen and I don't want to find out.

Full sleeved shirt, jeans and moccasins, hair well done, wearing expensive perfume had 10 k baht on me to spend that night. This was good enough to get me into Spasso, Climax, Shock 39 and Insanity on earlier and later nights. Mixx guys exercised their right of admission. I found it racist and this is my personal opinion. One thing is for sure that they are definitely not going to get a minute of my time or a single thai baht in future. I don't care if it matters to them or not.

The food alone is enough to keep me happy. BKK is twice as expensive as it was when I moved here, but it is still ok value compared to other cities its size.

That being said there are some minuses. Things I don't like- The climate. I just don't like the heat and humidity. Grew up in a place with a long hot summer and prefer cooler weather. As I age (closing in on 50) the humidity bothers me more. The pollution. The air in BKK is bad. After 15 years my sinuses are in rough shape. If you have allergies the pollen hooks onto the particulates in the air and is constantly at you. The traffic. Gets worse and worse. Having a motorbike is the only way to get around. The fact that you will always be viewed as an outsider and will never be able to participate in the society here. Can be good as well, I guess. But this is why I refuse to buy a condo here. They can change the rules in a flash. Currently they are looking at redoing the ruled for nominee companies. The Japanese Chamber of Commerce has already come out and said many businesses will leave if they do. You have to be able to live with the fact that the locals just don't like you. I think this is a bit better in some upcountry places and worse in Pattaya and Phuket. Another double edged sword is the pace of change in BKK. It is an amazingly dynamic city. It changes in the blink of an eye. Some changes have been great, for instance the number of boutique coffee roasters that have popped up over the last two years. Some not so great, including the changes in the P4 P scene. Sadly some of the things that one likes can be gone tomorrow.

[/QUOTE]They have food in the PI? All kidding aside, I agree with you. I would go nuts in a place like Angeles. Too much human detritus on the streets. Pattaya is pretty bad in that respect but Angeles is worse.

I will tell you that lower Suk kind of sucks as a place to live. Tourists, working girls, and all that goes along with both are there. Moving farther out is a good thing.

When I come back to my country from Thailand. Sometimes the officers mess with me. Sometimes asking me how much the woman are over there now? My answer is I would not know.

This time when they ask me "why I went there?" I just said vacation. "he said do you know anyone in Thailand? " I say yes. " So you went to see your friends?" No I just went on vacation.
