Why would anyone take the extra flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai? What is so special about Chaing Mai? As far as I can think, it is north of Thailand, so maybe the girls are fair and even smaller pussies as you move north. Am I right Mongers?
Probably you miss the part that people tend to visit Thailand also for the culture and the temples.
Chiang Mai have a dozen temples inside the old city and also some other impressive temple at the nearby mountains.
Also there is a beautiful waterfall around 1 hour away, plus some elephant parks.
The party life is also quite good and there are many girls available.
I was lucky to have good time with tourist girls also, as it's quote busy with international tourists and not just Russians as in other popular Thai locations.

Chiang Rai report
In Chiang Rai for a week.
Day 1 - I checked out the massage shops on Jetyod just south of the Clock Tower. I suppose there are 15 shops in quick walking distance? I am not sure how many are actual pay-4-play. At least 10 or so. The pickings are slim and the girls are older. Most are wearing jeans and T-shirts. There is no short skirts and boobs on display like I see on Loi Kroh in Chiang Mai. I picked one at random and just got a rub down to help me sleep. Every so often she would stretch my balls or wiggle my weiner and ask if I was SURE I didn't want anything else. I politely declined and she finished the massage. As she was finishing I asked if she would come to my hotel the next day. She agreed and we exchanged line contacts.
Day 2 - She showed up and it was pretty dissapointing. 20 seconds of blow job, dead fish in doggy, and then the fake phone call from "her boyfriend who needs my help" as soon as I shot my load. Ya, just leave now. Oh well, they can't all be winners.
Day 4 - I took a cab to Rose Spa on the south side of town. Each room has a shower and she does the washing. Prices are 1400 for 1 hour + hand job. 1700 for 90 minutes plus BBBJCIM. 2500 for 90 minutes + full service. I was too tired to bang and really wanted a decent blowjob, so I chose the 1700 baht level. Got a small, 3 girl line up. I chose the tall girl with the big mouth. The other two had braces. I went over the ground rules with girly and mamasan before walking to the room. Guaranteed BBBJ CIM was the only reason I was there and I didn't want that to get lost in translation.
Shower service was weak. She didn't spend much time on my nooks and crannies. I managed to spend some time on hers instead. She was a little hesitant at first but kinda got into it. Massage was OK at best. We finally get around to the blowjob, and it's fun. Not all that deep, but wet and fun. And she is taking direction well. Banana is a no-go zone for hands. Mouth only on the banana. And she stuck with it. As expected, it took forever because she did very little to start my motor. But she just hung in there and kept working it. Maybe the longest BJ I have received in Thailand? I'm sure her jaw is still sore. I blasted in her mouth, and she hung in there again, with me still stroking, until the tickle finally made me jerk it out. Mission accomplished, although 1700 is too high if the only real pleasure is the blowjob.
Day 5 - I have been stopping at the small, legit massage parlor across from the hotel and getting a thai massage just before bed. I spyed the woman lifting the towel to check my package, and on a whim I invited her to my hotel room. We played love bunnies for the next 14 hours until she had to go back over and open up the store. Love the unexpected LT! And I am particularly proud of my performance. In the early morning I woke to her searching for morning wood. She wanted another serving and I was happy to oblige.
One more place I'the like to try is Naomi spa. Its on the north side of town, and the pics showed a hot tub in the room, with a waterproof bed designed for Nuru. At the time I messaged them on the line app to get a price and services list, but never got a reply. Since then I got a messgae and they are running a 2000 baht special. Other details such as time and service levels were left out.

Couple trip
Well we skipped Chaing Mai in September due to flood worries and went to Aruba instead. We decided to do Chaing Mai in November. Just looked at prices. They seem crazy high? I understand its high season, but we can go to Pattaya for almost half the cost? We may come anyway but was curious if anyone knows if this is normal for Chaing Mai to be this expensive this time of year. For ten nights I can get air fare and a hotel for 2200 ish for us together to Pattaya but for Chaing Mai its 4400 minimum. We think we are doing it anyways as wife feels Chaing Mai has more things to do and is prettier than Pattaya. She said you can't just chase girls every day.

I don't even know what currency you are quoting. What I can say is equivalent hotels in Chiang Mai are much more expensive than Pattaya and your experiences in the two cities will be totally different. Chaing Mai has it's own set of attractions, two of which I recommend are going into the mountains to the west of the city and also north of the city is the Chiang Mai flower festival, which I think I saw in November. Your hotel will have nearby tour booths where you can book tours of these things plus many others (e.g., elephants and crocodiles). If you want to get laid, the options in Chiang Mai are a tiny fraction of those in Pattaya and it is in a limited area with limited services (southeast of the moat).
IMHO, Chiang Mai is a much prettier city than Pattaya, its not even close. I suspect your wife would enjoy evenings walking around Chiang Mai (shops, restaurants, massage) more than eyeballing the hookers of Pattaya.

That is exactly the kind of thing my wife wants to see. For dollars was referring to USD. The hotel prices were kind of an average for something 4 star. And although wife enjoys picking up the ladies, she certainly enjoys the rest of the vacation more. So Chaing Mai it is. For ladies we are going to keep it simple and do Nuru 69 and maybe a bar girl. Thanks again for recommendation and if you have any others please let me know. She wants to see elephants, go to Heritage and Coconut park, and see some temples for sure.

The Latern Festival is also the 5th and 6th of November and the prices are double or triple of normal.
If your dates are flexible you might try pricing some different dates in November.

ABC Club
Hi there, I have a question for you mongers in CM: has any of you been to this ABC club? I keep seeing reels of this club on my Facebook feed and the girls look amazing. But then I see nothing here, is it because there is no activity beside drinking or is it because nobody has been there? I am considering visiting CM on my next trip just to check this place!

Pictures I took of the flower festival are time stamped December 2024. But posted signs show it as the 2025 flower festival. Perhaps the official celebration is first week of February, but things I saw in December were beautiful. In any case, people looking to travel to Chiang Mai should look up the schedule and go see it. It's a highlight of Chiang Mai. I believe that the fireworks were 9:00 PM, which leaves plenty of time to get back to the city for punting activities.

I have been in Chiang Mai every winter (except one due to the pandemic) since 2012, returning in two weeks for my 13th winter in Chiang Mai. So I was there in December last year. The Flower Festival is always the first or second weekend in February. Loy Krathong (also known as the Festival of Lights) is the weekend of the full moon in November. In 2024, the full moon was on November 15. In 2023, that full moon was November 27, later than normal. Loy Krathong is a BIG festival! I'm puzzled about what festival you saw in December. New Year's was pretty big last year, but I do not remember anything big in the middle of December. Hmmm.
This winter, all celebrations will be canceled or subdued due to the year-long mourning after the passing of Queen Mother Sirikit.

A Thai style?

The sign last December read "Merry Christmas 2025. " I am sure this December it will say "Merry Christmas 2026. " The first year I read it with the following year cited I thought it was a sign-maker's error. But since it happens like that every year it must be a Thai choice or style to consider a current year event like that to apply to the following year.
I never asked a Thai person to explain it in detail. I pointed out that "Merry Christmas 2025" sign last year to a Thai friend and she just shrugged like she didn't know what the problem was. I did not pursue it.

Massage in Hotel Room?
Just planning my first trip to Chiang Mai.
Been reading through this forum for a lots of wonderful information.
And I hope it's not a silly question.
Just wondering is it possible in Chiangmai to ring the Massage shop and ask them to send a girl to your hotel room for a massage.
Obviously a lot more convenient, and the girl is more inclined to be more relaxed and hopefully provide FS.
In the privacy of the hotel room rather than in the shop?

Hotel Massage Chiang Mai
Just wondering is it possible in Chiangmai to ring the Massage shop and ask them to send a girl to your hotel room for a massage.
Baifern massage. Contact on line or whastapp. There are two levels of service: One is for a professional massage, and the other is for a "lady massage".
2 hours for 1000 baht for Lady oil massage I think? Then negotiate extras with the provider.
https://baifernmassage.com/
CM Massage. Similar prices and provider levels.
https://www.facebook.com/massage2020cmm/
Tell the booker via text what service you want. They will provide the right girl.
I've used both and was pleased with both. Expect girls that are a little older, but clean and somewhat attractive. They will send you a digital line-up.
