I didn't see any signs like what I saw for Ninja but there was a new club next to the old Tony's disco for Panda Club, not the same as Panda GoGo the Grand opening was New Year Eve, the lower portion was all torn out.
Let me add, this being the first day of the second part of the opening so I decided to take the family to Big see, extra for dinner being able to sit and relax with A / see we get there now you got to use some type of BarCode (forgot what you call the stuff) prior to even having your temperature taken, you also need to sign your name and give your phone number. When we got inside found out the place MK, you could eat in now but since I was with 5 we weren't going to be able to eat on the same table nor were we allow to order a Hot pot to share.
So off we go to a regular Thai outdoor place on Sukhumvit, we were allowed to sit together share food but alcohol wasn't allowed on premises problem this time of year with Durian in town lots of flies. After dinner still early before heading home the wife wanted to take a spin around the Maphrachan Lake, now before the road lockdown not much was being enforced on the Darkside except massage, salons, bars, and clubs. When I got to the Lake I never seen so many vehicles years past you would never see even one Thai exercising the parking lots were jam-packed, food carts line up everywhere I had to check the calendar thinking it was Loy Kroytong or something talking about zero social distancing. Restaurants were packed serving liquor, music was playing it was if Thais knew the world was coming to an end or they just found a vaccine and decided to celebrate. You couldn't have a hot pot at MK in town but the local hot pots (jim June) were packed. The funny thing most surprising on the Pong side of the Lake is a soccer field right across from the police station they were having a full game of soccer going with spectators!
Now I don't know about all these stats but if tonight is any indication where it seems there isn't a rule or virus if an uptick in numbers if not, one got to wonder what the real fuss is about with the lockdown because tonight I saw no social distancing I saw people closer than if they had a girl giving them a lap dance. Cross your fingers either it is going to get bad or it is the wild west again?
First you need the massage shops, bars and clubs to reopen. When and how this happens is anybody's guess but my gut tells me it's going to be slow, gradual, with seriously regulated limited opening and closing times. Maybe even with some cocked up social distancing guidelines inside although how that could work in a go go is beyond me. I chuckle imagining the girls mincing around the poles butt naked wearing only a mask and heels. Personally I love that eyes only look so could be a turn on.
We have 5 or 6 months before high season kicks in. By then there should be some semblance of back to business. Most likely the girls will drift back to where they used to work well before there are enough punters to go around. It is difficult in 2020 to see enough mongers visiting for all of them to make a living and it's more than possible some of the lower end girls will end up going back home. Making that more of a possibility is the return of girls who were working in Korea, Singapore, the Gulf and elsewhere. These by and large are smarter better looking girls who if they don't go back again to working abroad will rejoin the local scene further increasing competition.
On which business's reopen my guess is that some of the one off smaller operators will call it a day particularly if they were struggling before everything went belly up. The reality is P4P in Thailand has become much more organized with less and less room for independents. This was for example already happening on Soi 6. I believe the go go segment will be concentrated in fewer and fewer hands. Cash no matter its origin will be king. The good ole days when you could lease a shop house and have your Thai sweetheart open a bar while still possible in second tier locations is becoming a less viable financial proposition. Normally less competition means higher prices but with the imbalance between supply and demand prices at a minimum should remain as is.
Who knows all this could be pure nonsense and the country could be overrun with sex hungry hoards flush with cash saved during the lock down.

Some guys come for a week and never return. When there is a retiree who can hire her 2 nights a week at a lower rate. So yes. The 3 k sounds good until Big Belly Bob returns to England.
