When meeting near my place, I do it a little different than most people. I might set an appointment at 9:00 PM, but I will immediately tell them that if they aren't there at 9:30, I will no longer be available. And on the firm commitment to meet the day before issue, it almost never fails that a fresh, new, more interesting offer will come along for me the day OF that prior firm commitment.
