Its about time that more and more people spread the word on the help prices, its frustrating haggling from $R500 and now getting asked $600R seems to be the new one! Simply not acceptable in current climates or any climate. More and more americans come over for short trip so think its cool to flash some $$$ and pay over the odds, then normal mongers are faced with haggling and most of the time the girls don't budge anymore as they now its a kinda standard price their getting and also now grown to expect their R$500. Speak and speak away to as much people lets push for a more standard price of $R200. $R250 back to normality.

For the record balcony chics go for $R50 around 3am, not that their hot and its generally a star wars bar but theres always something well doo-able.

The standard of help has been on a slow deterationg for some time, I think out of past 8 visits left empty handed! Ended up pissed looking went out side for some reason picked up some gangsta type, back to my hotel hoses her down then takes a second look and she was about 7-8 months up the duff! Instantly told her to leave. Just sums up my recent help experiences.

I've just found myself exploring the escorts, go to help find it unacceptable call one from help to meet me outside. Much better deal. $R120-200 2 hrs (at least) plus you still get the fun and scan of help.

If you do some research from her friends list and look for chicks with pics from inside help, or at MP, or TA, or even for women with lots of guys who speak really shitty port., and are obviously novice mongers. Striking up an online friendship when get you some cheap, or in most cases, free pussy. I can flash $$$ all day long but I never would in Rio; this is how the rich stay rich and at the same time don't look like or be taken for a fool!!! The only thing I splurge on is Alcohol for whoever is hanging with me!!!

It's so funny when I go to Help I love to buy a lot of alcohol (bottles) and so the garotas feel they can give me high prices and I just laugh at their quotes; then many times they see me leave alone, why? Cuz I don't care if I take a girl home from Help as long as I had had plenty to drink and a good time with my boys I'm happy; if I don;t leave with a girl I'll just hit a terma once or twice the next day!!! I never pay over $250R for a Help girl and I have a 95% success rate taking one home for that price cuz (hot one, I have strict standards) I got them liquored up from the alcohol I bought!

I am so sick of guys on this board blaming the high prices on American guys coming to Rio! I have been coming to Rio for almost 20 years. I have the money to pay whatever I like when I get to Rio and I promise you that I rarely pay more than 200 Reals for any girl. My friends are even cheaper than I am and they rarely pay more that 150.

When I get to Rio all I hear is the girls saying how guys from Europe, particularly the Italians pay the most! They say that the European men pay the most and f*ck the least so they would rather go with them. Girls come with me even though I pay less because I treat them with respect I buy a couple of drinks and I always have black label in my apartment. Get your facts straight!

The Help prices started to go up a few years ago when some darker complexed american men started a bidding wars of the ho's.

It was ridiculous and now we pay the price.

Although I do not go to Help, not to mention Copa in general, I can feel the pain of the other board members.

I JUST came back from Rio and all the girls talked about was how europeans were paying the big bucks now. Quoting american's 400-500 because they can get it from the european crowd. Any non believers just approach a girl on the side that is dominated by the European crowd. I got shooed away quite nicely when I heard those prices.

Some Reasons:

A .Sometimes its a 1st timer.
B. A desperate gringo.

Get your facts straight![/QUOTE]Ok in response to this, it was a more generalisation on the general price structure in help not a dig at purley americans, I don't know any italians specifically and I don't discuss with girls what italians pay or other specific nationallity, I was purley talking about recent years where I've witnessed Americans flashing US dollars and paying with dollars and even cutting my feet! And as mentioned holding bidding wars flashing cash at random even if the girl is chatting to another guy.

Its quite clear you have lots of money by your words but for most its a luxury they don't have. Its also not a luxury to be going to Rio for 20yrs, knowing the set up and building up contacts and having the time to get to know certain girls who know you and are happy to party with you, nor is it a luxuary for all to have an apartment and 'always' have a bottle of black label. Most punters are there on short breaks having fun, and lots of first timers, if they are told $R500 is the price, how do they know any different then it becomes a situation like it is now, where the girls all expect $R500 and even if they like you, they can be reluctent to leave for less as the 'majority' of the reason they are in help is for money?

Yes if you have a good vibe and good chat, got a table in help with a bottle of chandon or black label of course that basically secures a $R200 girl who has spent time with you drinking and is relaxed and goes for the $R200, but this is not my point, Most people just want to go see a hottie and have fun, but when approaching them and you have your chat and then majority of time they simply won't budge on what ever inflated fee they have said as they know its the current trend and very much achievable.

Of course there the situations where the girl likes the look of you and they way you smile or chat but as said earlier the majority of the reason they are there is for money and it almost always wins. Therefore my point was simply that in my opinion its well over board paying $R500 and if more people from ALL over simply didn't pay that, like everything else its supply and demand and this would not be the standard price in help.

And like you when in Rio I can also pay whatever price (not that I show it, or choose to state I can afford the most expensive liquor in Rio, ) but I rarely do go to help mostly due to current clientel and the fact a girl a few hours before is charging $25R in VM and is now suddely worth $R500!

I was making a simple observation which affects more than the average monger going to help. And in addition I'm more than happy\satisfied with the 1000s of other services in Rio, but in the past I have had amazing nights in help and occasionally return to 'recapture' the good vibe of days gone past!

And regarding getting facts straight, I wasnt stating any facts to get straight, and if this was in relation to stating thats its been known for Americans to flash $$$, well I'm afraid that is a fact!
