Some of them probably are.
I learnt years ago that my fellow Australians are not the most considerate of travelers. Boorish, insensitive, impatient and dumb are some words that unfortunately can be accurately used to describe some (most) of us.
A couple of months ago I nearly choked on my beer when I read that the Chinese Government were conducting a public education campaign to educate their rapidly expanding middle class on how to conduct themselves when overseas. I thought to myself I hope they don't use Australians in Bali or Pattaya as an example.
Without wishing to divert the board, the Chinese are well aware their citizens are behaving in a very bad way and creating perception images of the chinese.
They would like to be viewed as being sweet, and soft and happy and kind. Instead they are becoming well known for being incandescent with rage at the slightest mishap on many planes (latest being the well publicised scalding of Air Asia staff because a couple couldn't sit together). When the President went to Maldives he heard that Chinese vacationers were referred to a CN's. Not standing for Chinese, but for cup noodles and that hotels were refusing to send hot water to hotel rooms. They pay US $1000 per night but only eat cup noodles. There was a case of a kid scrawling his name in chinese characters on an ancient stone in Egypt. And many more cases.
They are aware that the world is slowly turning against their arrogant boorish "me first" type behaviour. Thank goodness they are still too afraid to drink a lot when they travel! LOL.
Gogos and Discos are so loud in general, how can you say someone speaks too loud. If people speak at all softly, I can't hear them. I do have problems at my work place with certain nationalities sometimes being too loud.
I get particularly annoyed when people speaking on the phone lift their level several decibels which seems totally unnecessary with little background noise situations.
I don't meet such Aussies in go gos, perhaps because I am not in Pattaya. At a Sports Pub in Bangkok I found the noisy Aussies stayed mostly outside. I stayed inside.
On many nights I have been in go go's and I'll be the first to tell you " you whites guys all look the same " they come in already having a few too many talking loud as if they were getting ready for a Ruby game. I seen this regularly at Spanky's late, they come in and take those rubber things and start to whack the shit out of the girls. They smile but inside I'm thinking otherwise? I was once at Happy Go Go, sitting enjoying my drink two guys came in one of the guys look all pumped up on something. The both was sitting in front of me on the stools had a few girls having drinks with them. Next thing I know the pump up guy jumps up and gives his buddy a fucking headlock submission move on his friend head saying " I'll break you fucking neck " His friend had glasses on and look like Bill Gates? Didn't know what he said but he was no match for his friend. The girls jumped in and all the Thai waiters tried to break it up! The guy ended up paying for the broken glasses plus replacing my drink and a few others.
When I was leaving his buddy was outside sad and trying to fix his glasses. I felt sorry for him having a friend like that? A trip ruined! Sometimes I think people come to Pattaya like the college kids go on Spring Break?

I have a large large family and during special events or holidays while growing up my Dad and Uncles would be standing like inches away and if you were a visitor think they were going throw a few blows in a minute. I've seen this as I traveled throughout the south of China with my cousins from Hong Kong before it fully opened up. Put in a few drinks and it gets worse? My cousins use to tell me beware doing business with the Chinese in China they couldn't be trusted many like my cousin in Hong Kong do not feel they are the same as the Chinese in the Mainland.
What I mean is that most Americans who monger are very very discreet about their activities as it could cost them their jobs, etc.
Most absurd thing I ever heard. Losing a job? More like losing a wife. But that goes for all nationalities.

I can't believe they spit everywhere, in the subway, inside public buildings, bathrooms, etc. When I go to HK, they look at the mainlanders with disdain, like the plague. And one only needs to look at how the government acts in the world, using fear and threats, but also mistaking fear by other countries as respect. I think it will take the Chinese ten plus years to realize that few if any countries actually respect them.
A few other good places for Americans to go for legal PFP are Aruba, Curacao and St Maarten. All have legal brothels stocked with Colombian and Dominican girls. Campo Alegre in Curacao is this hemisphere's largest brothel, typically with around 150 chicas each with their own apartment.
Thanks for the tip. Though I read on three islands in this area there are a total of 500 PFP gals. With Thailand it is closer 500 thousand, with many more options for the punter.
Of the pics on the Campo Alegre site I saw only one that was doable or white. The trip to these places is not short or cheap, but practicly to South America. Europeans would be way better off going to Thailand, as well as Asians, Africans, Oceanic nations & even many Canadians. IOW almost the entire world.
To chime in on the conversation I think a large percent of American mongers go to destinations in the Caribbean and south America. Places like the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Colombia, Brazil, Jamaica etc. The length of the flights are a big factor. The DR and Costa Rica are 3 hrs away from NY and the flights are considerably cheaper. Its easier to take a quick weekend getaway to those destinations than it is to go to Thailand, Cambodia, Jakarta etc.
It makes no sense to fly to Siam from NYC for a weekend. You'ld be on airplanes and at airports almost the entire time. Even going to Cuba DR or CR etc travel would eat up quite a few hours. No doubt the vast majority of New York hobbyists would prefer to keep the cost for airfares & hotels, such as $400 to $500, in their pocket and use it to spend on local talent.

China is going through a weird transitional phase right now and with sudden increases of wealth + the 1 child policy (higher chances of more spoiled brats), many nationals lack courtesy. With that said, the vast majority of Chinese people do not act this way, most rather avoid confrontation but since there are 1. 3 billion Chinese people, you're bound to find a couple in your lifetime. I myself haven't noticed any discrimination but I dread the day my family and I gets treated worse because of a few rotten apples. Oh well, what can you?
Here's a link to a very annoying site, full of ads and popups.
Link didn't work & was titled most visited cities whereas the subject regards countries.
Note that Thailand is not in the top 10 destinations for Americans. Jamaica, Mexico and the DR are.
The stat I've seen over 800,000 Americans visited LOS last year. I doubt the DR or Jamaica had that many, though Mexico would not surprise me as they border next to Uncle Sam. Yet Mexico doesn't have the rep as a sex tourist destination like LOS. In surveys for preferred PFP worldwide destinations Mexico hardly gets a mention. They'd be popular with their own kind in the Southern states who can speak the lingo & dare to go there, I suppose. But from the looks of the girls there, I think most Yankees would rather stay home, watch oceans full of stunning porn & jack off, LOL.

Chinese New Year
Chinese New Year falls on February 19th this year. Is this a bad time to be in BKK? I could take a slight loss and postpone to March, please let me know what to expect if you have any idea.

The Secret Service agents were reprimanded over hiring a prostitute in Colombia and taking her to their hotel. See-level positions are always sensitive to any hint of moral turpitude. Latest one I can think of off the top of my head in the CEO (of HP who admitted to an improper relationship with a staff member.
Most absurd thing I ever heard. Losing a job? More like losing a wife. But that goes for all nationalities.
You're apparently not up on the feminazi approach to prostitution. When I was a kid, the cops may bust a hooker and the john would skate. Then the lovely and gracious militant lesbians got control of some power and forced changes.
These days the cops like to set up sting operations. Yes, there are ways around them, but guys still get caught. The cops then arrest you, book you, and many localities publish your name and picture in the paper. Not only does the wife take you to the cleaners, your boss at that point has just cause to fire you. Moral turpitude, or whatever they call it, plus you're now a criminal. Oh, and many municipalities can confiscate your car (if you were using a car when busted) WITHOUT going to trial. If you're found not guilty you can ask for it back. Of course, by that time your life is pretty well ruined.
Now, a tip for the Yanks, according to Maxim, or a magazine like them. We all know that in the USA it's illegal to solicit a prostitute, or for one to solicit you. Sex in exchange for money is illegal. However, if I ask a girl to have sex on camera, and she signs a model release, it's suddenly no longer prostitution but "1st Amendment protected speech. " Go figure. So, if a lady asks if you want to party, tell her no. But, you're an amateur photographer and that you take pix of adult subjects for your private collection. You'd be happy to pay her to model for you. A ladycop won't go to your room with you. A real hooker normally won't have a problem. Once in the room, things can take their course. But you haven't offered sex for money, just money for 1st Amendment protected speech. Damn if our laws aren't fucked up.

I don't attend Spankies due to the loud whacking noises. Its fun only for some.
As for the fight, an isolated incident. Yes Australians can be Angry. The only fight I saw at a bar was in Crazy House. A Japanese or Korean threw a glass accross the bar. One or two slight injuries from flying glass. The culprit was not even ejected from the bar. Seems the behaviour was acceptable for a regular customer.
