Huh? Don't confused tolerance with legal.
I'm not shooting you. Rather educating you.
And by now everyone should know that you can find everything on the internet. Did you know that there are even websites that state the world is a globe, while it is plain for all to see the earth is flat as a pancake.
But silliness aside, the websites that state that prostitution is illegal in Thailand either have a hidden (moralistic) agenda, or have no idea what they are talking about. Thai law is clear enough however. Read it for yourself at https://www.ilo.org/dyn/natlex/docs/WEBTEXT/46403/65063/E96THA01.htm.
So I bit, clicked, and read. There was the following.
1. A given definition of prostitution which was "sexual intercourse, or any other act, or the commission of any other act in order to gratify the sexual desire of another person in a promiscuous manner in return for money or any other benefit."
2. A given punishment and a given fine for the given definition of prostitution. "Any person who, for the purpose of prostitution, solicits, induces, introduces herself or himself to, follows or importunes a person in a street, public place or any other place in an open and shameless manner or causes nuisance to the public, shall be liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand Baht."
I am not a lawyer by any means, but doesn't 1 and 2 make "prostitution not legal in Thailand." Which was all I wrote. I didn't say it was my own perspective of what I personally think what prostitution is or isn't, which some of posters are trying to say, twisting and bending words to their own personal beliefs. Which is hilarious, because it's pretty much a sex monger's words versus the Thai government. I wonder who will win? If there is a written law and correlated punishment in place and writing, I'm pretty sure then it's an illegal act. To make it more simple, so you and others can understand. If there is not a law in writing like "doing jumping jacks in public space," which there isn't, then those jumping jacks in the public are legal and not subject to arrest or fine or imprisonment. So like I said before, if there is a law on prostitution, then it's probably not legal in Thailand. I said, I'm not a lawyer, but I do have a buddy who works at Siam Legal, who told me that the phrases, "any other benefit" and "or any other place in an open and shameless manner" is subjective to the Thai police which will be always right when it comes to a foreigner coming to their country looking for cheap sex with their females.
Also there is a big difference between "AND" versus "OR" if you or anybody is referring to the whole causing a public nuisance thing. I'm not an English major or is it even my first language, but I think this part is obvious.
Plus, from personal experience. Once I grabbed a last minute, standing at the exit door, girl from Insanity in BKK, way back in 2013. She was drunk and wanted to sleep first. I wanted ST which we agreed on for 2500 and for her to leave after. There was a disagreement. I offered her 200 for taxi to go away. She wanted the entire 2500 baht. She raised hell and called the police. Officers showed up at my Paradiso Suites Soi 10 reception. She told them we had sex and I didn't pay. We did not. I was a newbie still when it came to mongering in Thailand and a bit confused. They took us both to the Lumpini police station where a high ranking officer told me in English "prostitution was not legal. " I was fined 1000 baht for a report that had to be made and let go.
And if that's not enough. For you. This is an article 'FOR" the legalization of prostitution in Thailand not with any "hidden moralistic agenda" against. But what do they know? They are just Thai professors and researchers, that's all. Lastly, I also did a quick Google search using the words "prostitution legal in Thailand. " It came up with nothing. Then I did one with "prostitution illegal in Thailand. " Big difference. Thanks for the wild goose chase. I should have stuck with my immediate intuition. Luckily, I had a shit load of time in Pattaya to do nothing but relax because Soi 6, LK Metro, and Walking Street are closed.
https://www.nationthailand.com/news/30353452 "It is an open secret that, despite being illegal, prostitution is widely practised in Thailand. " (first sentence).
If the girl agrees to up her game and does it
True, why would a person repeat a girl who has bad service?
I have had sessions that went nowhere and were so bad I aborted them early because the girl adamantly refused to comply with what I needed and wanted in order to make it worth my time and money. Then I got a Line message 2 days later from the girl telling me she changed her mind and would I please give her a second chance.
Sometimes a "second chance" session under those circumstances can be damn good. But I recommend making it crystal clear that if she doesn't do what she is now promising she will do and with the right attitude there will not be one baht in payment, not even taxi fare this time.
Looking at it from the "how much?" aspect of a session instead of the "what for?" aspect of it, wouldn't you agree to see a girl for another good session if the first time around she held firm at 2,500 baht but the next time around she offered the same good service and time for 1,500 baht?
The same thing can apply to the "what for?" aspect of a session.
Imo, repeating for greatly improved service is as good a reason to repeat as doing so for a much lower price, if not an even better reason to do it. But it needs to be locked in with an "or you don't pay anything this time" agreement. If she refuses to agree to those terms then she is very likely planning to waste your time and still get paid something anyway again.
Paradise Health Massage (Soi Honey)
Thumbs down!
This place is the last place before reaching Soi Bukhao.
I picked a girl and we agreed on bumbum for 1000.
When I asked for 69 she said anything apart from 69. Just my luck. I asked if menses was the problem she said no. Stubborn as a pig.
Was she a LB and that was why she didn't want any position that afforded close scrutiny? Didn't look like a LB at all though.
I gave her 200 and left to have a foot massage in Soi Bukhao.
