I whole heartily disagree with the previous poster. A newcomer asks a question which has been addressed dozens and dozens of times. Is he too lazy to do 5 minutes of research, or does he just not know that research is feasible? Either way, no excuse for not doing the research.

To some of us, it's much more disturbing to see someone who's just asking a polite question get attacked than it is to see a post that's been answered before. That newbie post was completely polite. The reply was not.

Deporting the WG's isn't implausible. They go to Soi 3, Grace and CM2, and bring them in. Not hard. A few places in Pattaya, same deal. OK I just replied to an PM from someone about this. I've said my piece, and you guys can do what you want with it.
The gist of what I said to the person who PM'd me is that you guys are veterans here and get highly annoyed by newbies who post questions that have been answered already, that much I can understand. But meanwhile there are a lot of people (maybe even a vast majority) who aren't like you, who come here once in awhile or for the first time, who haven't read the whole thread and don't know they're expected by guys like you to do that. And I think there will be a steady stream of these kinds of people, now and in the future. It's a given. I don't think your policy should be to slam people anytime they ask a question that's been asked already (which most they'd ask have been, probably).
You pointed out the FAQ link. Allow me to point out the Rules link. If you click on that one you'll see that ridiculing/belittling/insulting are forbidden. It's called flaming. There's no rule up there that says veterans are exempt. It could be argued that veterans are the ones who should be most expected to be following those rules, since you're the ones who should be most familiar with them.
Neither the FAQ nor the rules seem to state anything about how newbies are expected to read the forum first before asking a question that might've been answered already. So it seems that the guy in question here isn't breaking any rules, only you are.
By the way, the Thailand FAQ doesn't give a decent answer to the newbie's question about Russian girls. It just says 'they come and go, better to eat Thai food'. I think it's totaly understandable to post a question after seeing that in the FAQ, hoping to get a real answer.
Another thing: the search on this forum is no good. You can't bring up a post that has your answer, you have to read the whole thread. It's not functional.

Yes, I agree there.
The same ppl who flame others for asking RELEVANT questions, are the same dudes with post totals in the hundreds or thousands and yet each post is irrelevant and non-useful cr@p that I would normally find in my spam filer in-box. I work in the IT industry, and searching this thing is a time consuming task for ME, let alone some Internet part-timers. As a paying member, I'd like to more quality and less quantity.. helps the search engine and page scrolling as well, not to mention making the fabled "RTFF" a simpler task.

I have been on this forum for a while and newbies dumb or naive questions (in somebody's view) don't bother me in the slightest.
They can be told to Read The F'ing Forum, or helpful members can even point them toward particular areas to search.
Please remember that many memebers are on here seeking to be irritated, annoyed or get into an argument as often as possible.
The members who look for trouble are best ignored totally.
I even put one such idiot on my ignore list.
The one thing I do find irritating, is people who PM me to ask questions that they would be better to ask of the whole list. After all, nobody knows best about everything.
PMs are for PRIVATE MESSAGES. So I want to see posts on the Forum for things where privacy is not needed. Abuse by PM is the worst of all and seems a bit gutless to me.
So please ignore the arseholes on the list. There will always be someone wanting to get into a bad mood.
Veterans on the list can easily ignore questions that bore them.
