Rio de Janeiro Reports

I was in Rio about two weeks ago but because I have a regular non p4 p student girlfriend I wasn't able to visit most of the places I like to go Most of this post will be for newbies. It rained half the time I was there and when it wasn't raining, it got pretty hot.

Landed at Gig about 45 minutes late so there was a line at Immigration and took about 30 minutes to clear. Got my luggage and headed out. On the way out, just being curious I asked how much the private taxi to centro would be. This is where you can pay by see / see and they said it would be are. $145. Said thanks but no thanks. Used Uber instead and the cost was are. $80. The Uber pickup spot has changed from the last time I used them. It is now on the far side of the building after you come out of customs. There are signs. When you get to the other side you walk outside and follow the building until you see the pickup spot.

I brought cash and my see / s card and went to check out the exchange rates. At the couple of casa de cambios the rate was 5. 6 to one dollar. A couple of others were 5. 7 to one. I just used my see / s card and got a rate of 6. 02 to one. I know it's not a big difference but just used my card while there.

On one Friday evening I had an open window between 17:00 – 21:00 because not only does my girlfriend go to school she also works parttime at a mall. Not the touristy malls. Instead of doing my regular 4 x4, I decided to go to the new termas in Botafogo. It's called Caribbean Sul and the address is are. Prof Alfredo Gomes 9. It's just adjacent to the Botafogo shopping mall. Which is also about a block away from the metro. On goggle it said it was open 24 hours but I knew that wasn't right and there wasn't much other info about this termas. I tried calling the number but I kept getting a failed message. I thought it might be like the Copa termas and open at 16:00 but that wasn't the case. I got there around 17:15 and one door was down and the one next door was half way shut. There was a guy that was about to go into the half shut door so I asked him when they open. He said officially at 19:00 but most of the girls wouldn't be there until 20:00. So that was a fail for me. I had to be back at 21:00 and was thinking about the travel time so instead of waiting went to the mall and had some gelato. Hopefully one of you can visit this place and let us know how it is.

I had one more chance to play the next day since my girl went shopping with her mom. She said she would be back at the hotel around 19:00. Thanks to the person who stated that 4 x4 is now open on Saturdays. The only problem with that, it doesn't open until 17:00. I went to check it out anyways. On Saturdays the upstairs boite is not open. Only the downstairs wiskeria is open. I got there around 17:30 and there were only 7 girls there with 3 of them with a client. No stunners but a few I would do, but of course the one's I like were busy. I did buy a drink for one girl that I knew I wouldn't be taking up but for the company. She told me on Saturdays there's usually 20 girls there but it wasn't really busy on the Saturdays she had worked. Entry fee is the same but not sure if it is waived like upstairs before a certain time.

I know this was somewhat a disappointing trip report but hopefully someone will get something out of it.

Anyone been to this Caribbean Sul that QuackUp mentions? Actively planning my next adventure and want to hit all the best termas in Rio. Would like to know if this place is worth a try.

Your flight plan is maybe too ambitious.

I hate this time of year, but there are 3 major hurdles to pass until we get back to the chill Rio that Vagabundo prefers.

1. 21 Dec, the Summer / Winter Solstice, the longest / shortest day of the year is 5 days away. 21 June can't come soon enough.

2. New years, just 14 days away. Ann Amari is off at her mothers with her family for the weekend. I am trying to get her over, and she counters with come to my mother, to which I say, I am not too thrilled about going there for many reasons. Most cariocas will be planning time with their families unless they are so broke they need to be selling sex, in which case they will be considered losers and will as such give you, the customer even worse service. If you came to Rio at this time, you should factor this into your mission planning.

3. 5 March Carnival is over. The best cheapest plan is to go to the escolas do samba and to be a journalist / walk on passista if you have the moves, but generally, this crazy time of the year is more dangerous, more humid, etc.

By 5 April Vagabundo plans to move to Metro Jardim Oceanico.

Monte Carlo was way overpriced. 150 to get in, 600 for room with no shower, and the girls were not much different then the other clubs I had checked out. It was nice the front people spoke english but there were more guys then girls and dude asked for a tip on my way out. I thought he was joking.

A good high end restaurant with drinks is down to $USD 32. A medium quality session for 60 min about the same price. Both the service industry and non-imported stuff is very well priced, as is housing and paying wages. Nursing homes are cheap (mental note, need one for mongers with "nurses" in thigh high fishnets and VERY friendly to relieve swelling and stiffness and create happiness).

This means I can eat well & have 2 terrific sessions for under $USD 100 a day, and allowing for transport, snacks etc, not much more. And medical care is high quality and a fraction of the bullshit US scam / racket (delay, deny, depose, go Luigi!). There must be about 200m other suspects. Fortunately I rarely buy P4P at retail, I have my harem who know my likes and dislikes and consistently deliver shattering orgasms from wake up to sleep time and with lots of smiles, giggles and hugs. Two at a time. As it should be.

So I urge any mongers lingering in Ohio or the sex prisons of Europe and elsewhere to get your skates on and enjoy life at knock down prices.
