Traveling to LOS mid November, used the link [URL]http://gfbooking.com/pattaya/map/[/URL] to find guest friendly hotel near beach road, 15 night stay at Whitehouse Condotel. I am really looking forward to the trip and this site has been very helpful with the information.

Anyway, great hotel. The only cons I can think of is that the AC has no remote control and that the walls between the rooms are quite thin and 100% wood so you can hear your neighbour cumming at 4 AM or whatever time.

I never book far in advance anymore except maybe for the time around Christmas / New Year although I think that's not really a good time anyway to visit Pattaya (with those dreadful stalls on Beach Road....).

Yep, I stayed there, it cost around $15 a night. My plan was to bomb WS for a couple of days while I was there.
The reality: I never barfined anyone from WS while I was in the Guest House, I kept going back to Soi 6 and other places, although I did spend some time in Go-Gos on Walking Street.
The pros:
Location, price.
The rooms are decent.
The cons:
It's on the second floor, so you have to lug your suitcase up a treacherous winding staircase.
The rooms are mostly up higher than the second floor, so I had some lady carry my suitcase up the stairs to my room. Yeah, I felt bad about that.
No windows in my cheap room. Okay, I can live with that for $15.
No in-house restaurant. No biggie, there is a good one next door.
Check-in at 3 pm. That sucks.
I noticed that there a group of older ladies, presumably housekeepers, who hung around until late in the evening. No, I didn't bar fine any of them, usually too drunk at that point to do anything but fall into bed.

Has anyone stayed at A-one The royal cruise hotel near beach road?
What is their policy regarding guest?
For first few days my girlfriend will be staying with me hence not contacting hotel regarding this.
The Whitehouse Condotel seems to have been mentioned a few times.
Is there any reason to pay the extra for a deluxe room over a superior room?
For 3 nights, it's around 4800 THB for a superior room and 7800 for a deluxe room.
Don't think a separate seating area would be on any real use to me.
Not sure if all rooms come with a standalone shower. Some pictures show one, others just seem to have a bath and hose pipe on the wall so not sure if dependent on room type or you get allocated what's available (prefer a standalone shower at the very least).

Anyway, the girls in Peppermint GoGo ranged from average to awesome.
The girls in Soi 6 ranged from average to good enough, except I did find one sweet young thing with an awesome unmodified body and almost zero experience, willing to learn.
Next time, I would probably do WS once in a while, and focus on soi 6, except my plans always change.

They have gone up in price a lot from my first stay there 10 years ago. To answer your question I don't believe there is any reason for you to pay extra for the deluxe room. I find the couch to be worthless. I had been in all 3 types of their rooms and the regular, cheaper rooms are fine. All rooms of all types have the same shower stalls and they are huge. You can easily have your girl join you in the shower and have plenty of room to spare. Get the cheaper room.

I was in Pattaya last in may this year. I booked room at Sugar sugar on L K Metro on arrival disappointed room was OK but shower and toilet was big let down left immediately and moved to Opey de Place on Soi Lengkee for 850 per night nice clean room great service and nice pool nice balcony and good shower loved the place and stayed for 3 weeks never a complaint except on checkout they wanted 50 baht for 2 bottles of water WTF? I assumed every hotel that size gave free water. This left a bitter taste not sure I will stay there next trip anyone know if Katsree house on Soi Bukhao is OK or any other place on Soi Diana or Soi honey good at 800 to 1000 per night thanks for any help.

Could anyone please give feedback on this place. Searching this forum did not yield any result. From google came to know about this place. If any one experienced this place recently. I am planing to visit this place for a day or 2 with my GF. What we have in mind is same room sex, or soft swing.
