Jakarta

Just back from a 1 week trip to Jakarta and indeed Operation Bunga is going strong. Was virtually in Kota almost every day and was in fact there when the raid was done on Kota Indah area but guess what on my vist 2 days later most if not all the girls are back working! Will update once Im back to normal! Already miss Jakarta! ;)

hey JAD, as our man in the know, can you share with us the mood in Jkt in regards to this? not only with WGs, but the every day people also?

just want to state a warning: there are **** girls in "my bar". we know it is often hard to see the difference between a 17 year old and a mid twenty girl in asia. i just took a girl back to hotel and insisted to see her passport. she was telling all kind of stories why she has no passport with her and finally admitted that she is 17. i gave her 50,000 taxi money and sent her away - luckily before i even touched her. actually her dress code made her more suspicious to me than her look. she also behaved professionally.
better check the ids if you find something suspicious. i have seen at least one more girl of which i am pretty sure she is less than 18 years old.

You insisted to see her passport? If a 17 year old in Jakarta has a passport, that would be the first one I know of. They have ID cards, but very rarely a passport. And many times those ID cards are fake anyway. It sounds like that was a very sweet girl to tell you the truth about how old she was.

it is utterly useless to quote a case of one girl getting into one of the paletehan bars. they all move fairly freely between all the bars on the block.

Normal in Pattaya would be 500 baht.

This equals about rp 150, 000

I paid rp300, 000 at top gun but don't know if this is high or low.

Also, spent some money on drinks in jakarta but not in Pattaya if you want to figure other expenses into the total cost.

300,000 is low in Top Gun and normally won't get you one of the nicer girls, but it is equivalent to the quality you will get in Pattaya for 500 baht. So, yes, Pattaya would be cheaper. The hotels in Pattaya are also cheaper.

The cheapest place I know of is Angeles City.

I have lived in Jakarta for almost 10 years now, but visit Thailand frequently. Recently, I have had more GFE's lately in Thailand than in Jakarta. 4 years ago, it was exactly the opposite. Jakarta girls are not as innocent as they used to be. They are now as hardened as the girls in other countries. Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines are all basically equivalent for women in my experience. It just depends on which women you happen upon.

Angeles City is the cheapest place if you are only looking for sex, but the city is a dump. Jakarta has high and low end girls but is more expensive than AC even for the low end girls. Jakarta prices are similar to Manila. Thailand has low prices as well as high prices depending on quality and is the most comfortable country to spend your day due to infrastructure. Thailand also probably has the most attractive girls if you want to spend the money.

If you are really looking to go cheap, Cambodia was the cheapest place I found. I was giving gorgeous girls 10 usd there for all night when I was there 8 years ago.

I am supposed to report on my Jakarta visit as a promise to Dorman who gave me much good advice, and I am way overdue.

First, someone else recently reported on Amaris Hotel recently and said everything I would have said, so I won't repeat it.

I had one night out, went to the Blok M bars and ended up at Top Gun.

I played pool for several hours from 8pm until about 11 and during that time the bar went from almost empty to packed. I chatted and played with various girls but didn't try to make any moves.

I really enjoyed the band, heard it is different every night, so I'm not sure which one I was listening to.

As I was reaching my limit of inhaled smoke, and was ready to leave, I went over to watch the band up close. A small, sexy body was dancing right in front of me facing away.

After a minute, she turned toward me and I was happy to see she had a cute face. She gave me a big smile and walked over and said hello.

Summary: She is Wati from Sumatra, nice small body, very much like a Thai body now that I think about it. I bought her a drink, she snuggled between my legs as I sat on a bar stool. We agreed for her to come with me for 300K. No problem at the Amaris.

I'll be coming to Jakarta for about a month in April. I often rent apartments for stays of two weeks or more, but have never done so in Jakarta before.

I've looked a bit on Craig's list, but didn't see anything too appealing.

My budget is $400-$800, and would of course need a GF apartment, furnished, and not 100 miles away from the action. Decent furnishings, cable TV and internet would be mighty nice, as well.

If anyone has any pointers, I'd appreciate it!

I don't think you can find $10 any more. I have gotten ST for $20 a few years ago, but usually more.
