Your statement about the hotel customer service being first class is also confusing to me. Didn't they say you weren't entitled to a refund because you booked under a promotion and the promotion didn't allow a refund? I would think that if you had to complain to get a refund, their customer service can't be that great.

If the promotion terms include a no refund policy, then you're not entitled to a refund. Threatening them in order to get them to reverse their policy just for you is really classless.

Just trying to save you all some money: Visited Thigh Bar in Patpong, One dancer worthy of a bar fine. After wasting money on a ladydrink and tip, the mamasan insisted that barfine and money for services would be paid up-front before we head to my hotel. Um, that's not going to happen!

Dancer lost out on thousands of baht. Since they would not be reasonable, I left. Don't see much need for any of us to return to Thigh.

I had to leave last Saturday. Maybe some other time we can grab a beer. I had a few conversations with good Dr. Try the steamed sea bass. It is great, haaha. On a happier note I met the cutest girl at Rawhide and had a great time.

On the opposite if you are caught by a woman secretly filming that is a lot more likely to cause an unpleasant moment.

Last night spent some time at Angelwitch. Got to love the girls in black suspenders and the excellent hard rock soundtrack. However paid 180 BHT for some rum and coke. Happy hunting![/QUOTE]This does get a bit tricky. A couple of years ago I visited a go-go in Patpong called Pussy Galore (if I recall correctly); it was one of my only Patpong outings. There was a bargirl I wanted but like your experience payment had to be made to the Mama-san in advance, which seemed to be the standard procedure for that establishment given the pricing for a session was on the bar's menu. I decided to go ahead anyway, and ended up with a truly great session, which included cumming twice during a short-time session.

I generally do not like paying in advance, and I know many believe one then loses leverage and this will encourage a bad session. But I wonder whether as a general matter paying in advance versus at the end of a session matters as much as many think, particularly if payment in advance is the norm at a particular establishment. I'm rather agnostic about this so am not trying to support one view or the other, just curious what others have experienced in this regard.

On the other hand, if a girl asks for money in advance while working at a place where the norm is for payment to be made after the session, for me [I]that[/I] would raise a red flag. And I suppose if one is talking about a long-time session, there is a greater chance of getting a runner if one pays in advance.
