Rio de Janeiro Reports

Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Also, sorry if posted twice. I lost wifi mid write. Also, if you don't like my writing style, no one is forcing you read so skip through!

The Good: Easy to find girls I like. I like Typical Latinas and Afro Latinas. Yes I am aware it is Brazil and the girls may not be typical Mexican / Colombian Latinas, but they are pretty fucking close. Fat ass and naturally flirty with a lot of sex appeal. I found the Thai women great, but also kinda corny at times as the art of seduction is not ingrained in their blood as much as the latinas / Garotas / Brancas. What ever you want to call them. Sorry, as I stated it is my first time to Brazil and I am still learning the terms here. My Bad. Anyway, they are easy to find in the termas. There also Termas all over the city and I have been to a few and it is pretty straight forward to pick the girls. I just hate those drink tickets you get at some of the clubs. It gives me anxiety I may lose it and have to pay the fine. Getting around the city has also been easy. Uber seems to be cheaper than the taxis and the exchange rate from ATMs also isn't bad. Sucks can only use Bradesco ATMs though, but they are all over Copacabana. On average you can easily go to a terma, fuck on site for a few hundred Brazil real, or score a few numbers and have them come to you during the day. Looks of the girls so far, I would say it is on par with Medellin pre covid. Girls are in the 7-8 range for the most part and everything except BBF is usually given. I have been to Dulce Vida, Casa Blanca, Monte Carlo, Up House Lapa. Love the Weather here in Rio as well. I hate the scorching heat of the. Are. Or Thailand.

The Bad: Food does kinda suck. I am not a big food guy though, so I don't really care about that inconsequential shit. But it is annoying when its a hassle just to find a fucking coffee each morning. Here is what really sucks about Rio. There really isn't a big party area which mixes in pros, semi pros, and normal girls. Medellin has its' Parque Lleras, Thailand is well just fucking Thailand enough said, Sosua is the Su, but Rio doesn't have any big area like this. I didn't notice any girls as clear semi pros in Lapa or the Malecon along Copa Beach. Seemed like everyone was just normal tourist enjoying their night. The move seems to be, in each area you just must visit the terma and the ladies are waiting there for you. Easy enough, but I like the open air mix scene a little better. Here is what does bother me alot about Rio though. The termas have been kinda dead and they lack the talent that I thought they would have. Dulce has literally had like 5 girls there each time I was there. Monte Carlo close at like 1 am So its not a late night spot. Up House had 8 or 9 girls and it lacked talent to a degree and was kinda a little run down, but not too bad. I had really high expectations for Rio as I had always thought it was a top mongering city in the world, but it doesn't quite meet those expectations for me right now. The terma venues are small and at most so far, Casablanca had maybe 12- 15 girls the one night and they were hot so I don't want to shit to bad on the place. So anyway in short, Venues a little too small and the talent just a shy short of what I was expecting, but service and price has been good. The Ugly: Brazillians don't Speak Spanish and they definitely don't speak English. If you think you can get by and enjoy your time with just english, you will be sadly mistaken. Just like Mexico or Colombia, you should take a few weeks and learn enough Portugese to get by. I didn't and I am realizing it is a mistake. You will be on google translate mode the whole time and it takes away from the fun. I thought enough girls would understand english or spanish, but that is not the case. It is a different culture and country from the rest of Latin America.

Speaking of cultural differences, maybe somebody can explain this one to me. My first night in Dulce Vida I am worn out from being on flights and in airports all day and this girl comes over to chat me up. Even the Malecon in Copa seems to be dead. I am guessing but I suppose it is their slow season here or is crime really that bad that people just stay in at night? It has also been raining alot so I thought that may be it as well, but Rio doesn't seem like a 24 hour city, shit dies down at night.

Overall I feel like Rio is a city that peaked 10 years ago and is on the decline in terms of the monger scene and maybe even the city itself. I was expecting more out of Rio, but it is still a solid mongering location, but you can't claim it as one of the best in the world like you probably used to be able to. I don't want to do it, but I may have dig deep and search for the strength to spend the money to take on Sao Paulo. You only live once and I don't know if I ever will be back to Brazil so I may have to accept that challenge. Is Sao Paulo worth all the extra cash? I m middle class American, does the pussy justify the funds?

If you go back to Rua Barata Ribeiro at 9 pm then you will see the small bars filled with people. What you see at the places on the beach are tourists.
