So I noticed a couple of Rainbow 1 girls who went to Rainbow 4 are now back at Rainbow 1.

I flown nearly every Airline going to the Far East in the last 30 plus years, either full fare or on a Airline discount. I started using Eva Airlines 10 years ago and even after all those years I have never had a problem with any of their staff, never seen a flight crew get bend out of shape on a flight no matter. A few years back I had to fly home for a emergency and when it was time to return to Thailand, I got the date mixed up and show up on the wrong day. The flight was full but the manager moved things around and got me a seat in Deluxe economy without even taking my miles. Although they have changed many of the structure of their fares like other Airlines, usually the cheapest fare does not give miles any longer if you obtain so many segments you are issue a Silver card to use their clubs and that itself is worth obtaining especially the club out of Bangkok and Taipei.
Your experience out of SFO, is unusual since every flight I have used for the last few years have been full requiring me to purchase at full fare ticket instead of a standby pass. Whatever method they use to determine the best airline in the world. Eva I believe was voted once in the last ten years. I believe that itself is a shame! Flying into Taipei in the winter can be at times scary and only once that the landing was scary but from my experience their pilots seem to be well trained.

Thankfully I have very few US flights these days. But have seen no end of city to city flights in US where the attendant will pass the guy in 1 A a box of donuts and tell him to take one and pass it on. And that qualifies in US airlines as "service ".
Asian airlines generally understand what service and passenger comfort is. US airlines have no idea what those words begin to mean.

If you are looking for a similar clubbing experience as Pattaya in Bangkok, your best bet is Climax inside the Ambassador hotel on soi 11. Get there before midnight so you can watch all the hotties strole in. Stay away from Mixx in Bangkok. Nothing like the Pattaya one. The old Insomnia club at suk soi 12 is also a good second choice. The smaller bars on soi 4 operate similarly to the beer bars in Pattaya. They are all owned by the Climax group. The soi 7 beer bar is a hit amd miss these days. Many older ladies. But if you go around 8 PM you can score a young hot newbie girl who wants to get an early start. She will love to avoid the late night bars. At these places the prices are much more in line with Pattaya for the girls. This has worked for me countless times. However recently I have been scoring so much on the mobile chat apps that I have given up going to the bars.
