I did only barely graduate from kindergarten, and I'm just doing the best I can. I will also reveal a secret. The thing is, you can't have it both ways. If the forum is going to be open, then there will be a diversity of opinion. And that means we may disagree with each other.

You might be of the school that all comments are welcome regardless of how true or silly, that we should all nurture each other etc. I don't agree. And if I think there's trolling, or (on occasion) if something is rubbish, I will say it. You may not agree. Fine-you may say so. You might call this immature. I call it democratic.

More to the point, I think this forum ought to be what it is, namely a Berlin forum, with interesting, well written news and comments that helps mongers enjoy the highs and avoid the lows. I have said several times that diary-like entries really are wide of the mark here.

Bearsk a while back, had a really good idea that someone should just start a separate thread for these kind of personal, wistful feelings sort of things that really have nothing to do with Berlin or helping others here. Then all these literary types can go hog wild. But on another thread.

Enough said- I am done. I actually think your posts have been, in general, pretty good and useful.

Now - some quick news from the real world:

Met with Linda, buxom Brasilian among the Top Liste on the Berlin Intime website. Bad, bad, bad -don´t know of whom the photos are, but not her. As Neil Young once said, things started out kinda of slow and fizzled out altogether. So many acts were forbidden, so few parts could be touched, I might have had a wilder time in the veggie section of a supermarket. I am giving up gradually on the Indie scene-it is just little hit, and too much miss.

I'm completely new to the site. In fact completely new to just about everything. I've been looking through this thread, and I am hoping perhaps you could be of a little help.

I'm a 27 year old guy from Denmark on my way to Berlin to finally loose it. I figured I couldn't wait any longer, so now is the time. You are looking for a sure thing. However, realistically, any of those places are hit-and-miss, especially for a newcomer.

You should probably try Artemis and Kamilla la Dee. But for God's sake don't tell any of the girls you're a beginner. They don't respect it, no matter what it may say on the websites.

Remember when asking advise on such a forum-have a look at the advise giver's posting history. Try to determine where they are coming from. Some posters are more...ummm...motivated by their own sense of self importance. Some have a more genuine desire to point you in the right direction.

Which am I? Well have a look at my posting history and decide.

That said, I have to go with Bobo here. Kamilla Dee and tell them why you are there and what are your circumstances. KD are pros in the best sense of that word and will be happy that you chose them.

The other establishments you mention are all fine places. But in my experience KD is the one where you can most easily explain your needs and desires.

Artemis is a fine place but I would not go there until you have some experience under your belt. Not to say you could not find a fine woman there but it would be a lot more complex and complex is probably not what you need at first.

None of us knows you, your internal state of mind, experience etc. So all this is pure guess work. The problem with all these private apartments is whatever advice the Haus Mutti gives, or whatever impressions you have, the decision has to be made relatively quickly, with little or no discussion beforehand with a girl. And alot depends upon who is actually there that day, at that hour. Even if you explain to whomever what your situation is, you still are relying on their judgement of you, which also will be very quick, based upon an email, or a 1 minute talk. Ultimately, the person who knows you best, and will know best what you want, is you. So then the issue becomes-where can you get the most choices, information, time to decide. That logic argues for Artemis.

If you go to Artemis during say the afternoon, it is very chilled out, you can eat, swim, sauna, get a massage, and when you throw all that in, even the price of only one session compares quite favorably with a private pad. But the big (in my view, in your case huge) advantage, is that you can really take your time and talk to candidate partners. It does take a little discipline to sometimes resist pushy advances (what the veterans call here "sharking") , especially when surrounded by lots of attractive naked girls.

But Peter, you come from Viking stock, and it is your dick and your wallet, so you just resist when needed. No big deal. Just say no, politely. I think some mongers' feeling of pressure from women is really overblown. Another possible tip is go with a slightly older woman-late 20s early 30s. They have have a lot more experience, they are not under such money pressure, and they will probably find a semi-virgin a welcome and curious change from their usual clients.
