Back on line at last after battling with windows crashing by spyware and endless problems with the poxy proxy.
I was a little confused by the report of 'Typhoon' I guess Piper is right - Cyclone.
Busy week with little mongering. Went to black tie do on Thursday and being full of free gin and wine proceeded to the regal in the tux.
Girls faces a picture, normally in the regal the girls are not pushy, however in the tux I was approached many many times! Novelty factor I guess. Good sense prevailed and I woke up alone at home ten minutes before a business lunch appointment. In the early evening (Friday) the phone started. 5 calls - two from girls in the Panorama, I don't even recall being there!
Similar story last night after a work cocktail reception, proceeded to regal in a suit. Only this time good sense really did prevail and I drank only water.
Stunning new stock inc several new blondes. Sadly busy days at work today and tomorrow so will have to wait till weekend to misbehave!
Sorry, I normally stick on topic, but this time it´s serious, so I am relying on a trusted source of information: I am going to stay in a "dry" hotel this time, and I never bothered about actually buying booze outside hotels, so any recommendation to where to buy a bottle for a nightcap in-room is appreciated. Do Spinneys sell alc? Do I have to go to a retaurant/different hotel to buy some?
As my mongering experiences in DXB weren´t so good, I am taking a GF this time, and she´s hot - so we need somehing to cool off afterwards.
Any other recommendations are also well received (PM me).
Stevenh - easiest solution is to buy drinks duty free on arrival. The allowance is 4 bottle of spirits or four six-packs of beer, or a combination thereof.
If you run out, try MMI shop at Spinneys, Trade Centre Road. When I lived nearby I always managed to get drinks without the legally required licence (for residents only), but I was a regular. Just tell them you've applied for a licence with them and you're still waiting for it. That was my excuse every week for two years, and they never believed me, but they still sold me the nectar.
Last resort - drive 45 minutes to Barracuda's - no licence needed, and you don't pay 30% tax, so it's cheaper than Dubai. Really last resort: drink at York. ;)
If you buy at Duty Free, please get me a bottle of Baileys. Thanks, Piper.
Well, i guess it is about time i put in a meaningful report. Been reading up on the reports here, and it has served me well.
Coming to the title story, me and a friend was in dubai after the weekend, so was expecting a less crowded scenario. Made our way to york, since it had been a favourite haunt for some time, though I have not been there recently.
For starters, not as empty as we thought, enough people around. Girls not so great, more of africans and chinese, which is not my scene. I was thinking of skipping off to Regal, but my friend was kinda stuck to a short brunette. He was smiling and making eyes at her, but no response. She had a friend with her, maybe a 6-7, i guess. Anyway I called up the second one (brunette again, face was ok (say 7), body was good, i'd give an 8)and did some nego; turns out her friend is new, and a bit shy (really!!) Well, deal was stuck for LT for the two and we happily proceeded to our apartment. No hotels availible, but the apartment was expected to be gf.
As it turned out, they were gf, but as usual the night clerk was on the lookout for some easy money, so he tries to finger us a bit. This after we had reached the room, mind you. Talked to the guy and managed to get rid of him, and we had a bite, while my friend decided that his girl should have a bit to drink. I dont drink much, and anyway I had other plans, so I left with the one I picked. As it turns out, this lady was quite good, very much a GFE and all that. Suffice to say that I didnt get much sleep till she left in the morning, and it was money well spent.
Later in the morning I went to my colleague in the other room and I find him sitting with a long face. It turns out that the (Shy) girl had a few drinks and started acting funny. She started by making a lot of noise, which brought the manager up, anyway that was sorted out and they merry twosome played for a while. Immediately after she starts off saying that she has to go (night 12-30 or so) to another customer. By now, she was really drunk and the guy says wait a while, come to your senses before u leave. No dice, must go now, good customer waiting, was the answer. Bit of a low level shouting mach and she proceeds to puke all over the place. He decides that enough and boots her out. He didnt say whether he paid up in full, I suspect he did. Its 1-30 by now, and the (shy) lady goes down, and starts shouting at the manager. He calls up the guy and he has to go down and pacify both of them and finally reaches his room at 2 in the night. I think he cleaned up his room as well then.
Well, I dont know if the above is of any use, the girls name is Manisha I think, from Uzbeikistan. Short and a bit chubby, dark hair and I would say somewhat cute. I was later told by the girl I was with that Manisha was not having a visa, she had arrived Dubai by boat from Iran. Dunno whether that was true, but would have been a sticky situation if any LE was passing by then. But I certainly would recommend the other girl, she was quite a handful in bed.
Travelling to Dubai again in a week, hopefully will get back here with some better reports. And yes, my friend is going to read a bit of the wsg report in Dubai before we go again.

Dubai: The sound of a horn in the wee hours of the morning was the tell-tale sign ... a couple having sex in a car have been jailed.
A lawyer's son heard the horn around 3.15am and on investigating, discovered the couple. His father called police, who arrested the British man, 36, and the woman, 30 from Jumeirah.
The couple told police they had alcohol in a pub and were then spending time together. The woman denied having sex and said they were cuddling. She accidentally bumped into the horn, while they were on the driver's seat. Medical reports proved they had sex.
The Dubai Court of First Instance fined them Dh2,000 each, sentenced them to a month and they will be deported after serving their terms.

I just had a read through some of your website and your customer reviews. I'm sure you'll have no problems getting some upmarket clients in Dubai who want a "tantric" experience. Your marketing gave me a hard-on (and yes, your pics are beautiful).
But I went limp when I checked your fees (500 Pounds! ie 3,185 Dirhams) for ST.
Reading your customer reviews, it all seems just a wee bit clinical to me. For example:
Customer enters your flat, hands over the substantial cash in an envelope (because you're too "shy" to accept money), and is handed a written list of do's and dont's to read (oh brother), has a shower, has gentle quiet sex (no rumble allowed), dresses and gets ready to leave.
So far it seems a so-so, perhaps quiet service. In Dubai terms a 300DH session, or 47 Pounds - slightly cheaper than your 500 Pounds.
The grand finale: before departing, customer is asked to complete a questionnaire after the romp. ROTF! Is there a written money-back guarantee if customer is not fully satisfied?
You also make it clear you prefer not to have well-endowed men, and no rough-and-tumble. Damn. Now I'll have to spend my 3,185 Dirhams somewhere else! ;)
