Better opportunities in Rome

I am from Rome and I know that my city is not the best place to have a good time with hookers. But for sure you can have better experiences that that "roman dog day" you had. You just need to know a little bit better where to go and what to do/not do.
Actually I would recommend SW. It's not true that it's dangerous or unsafe. And it might happen that police stops you to check your passport/ID while you're having a good time in the car. But Italian police is the so strict and if you're a good guy and you never had problems with justice they will let you go without problems, after warning you that you should behave as a good guy.
Why SW? They are cheap: 30 Euros for covered Bj, 50 Euros for anal or uncovered BJ in the car. Some will also accept to come in your apartment and in that case it will be 150 Euros with anal and/or uncovered if the girl accepts that. Usually SW are not so "hot", most of them are quite cold but there a few that will also give you something close to a GFE. But when you pay such a small price -30 or 50 Euros- even if the girl is not so responding, then you won't complain. The thing to do is to take girls that accept anal or uncovered BJ. I think hat's quite exciting and if the girl is cold, well, that excites me even more. For sure you need a car to hang around, but you can find quite a lot of really good looking and young east european girls in Via Salaria -daytime and nightime. Also Tiburtina and Cristoforo Colombo are good streets to find those young east europeans, but I have not been there recently and so I don't know exactly how the situation is at the moment.
Second option is: girls working in apartments, but as your experience demonstrates, it's not a good deal. Anyhow, you can have a better experience. Here are a few tips:
1. Call them before and ask all details you need to know: services and prices. Cancel the girl that are not giving precise answers, as you can be sure they will not give you a good service and often they will ask a higher price when you will arrive in their apartment Just select the ones that: say exact price and give exact answers to your questions about their services.
2. Don't expect, in any case, a GFE or a "warm" attitude. Average quality of service is not better than service provided by SW.
3. Prices are always -I repeat always- to be taken just for one "shot". Never believe girls when they will say that price is for one hour or more. In Rome it's never like that.
4. Fair price is 100 Euros for girl doing incalls. 150/200 for those that accept extra services like anal or uncovered.
5. Good news is that many girls working in apartment accept anal -maybe 50%- So, in my opinon, if you have such a budget -150/200- better to go for it as normal sex with a girl that has a cold or bad attitude can be a "warming down" experience. Anal sex, instead, can be quite good as it's exciting to "punish" a girl that is having a cold attitude by going up and down in her second hole. At least you can think she has to work "hard" to earn her tip.
6. Choose girl that are working in apartments from the picturese published in web sites such as puntorosso.net, italiachiamami, poppea.com. Never from newspapers. The reason is very simple: if you choose from newspapers you won't have any idea about the girl's look. And it can be annoying to drive for 45 minutes in the roman traffic and then arrive in an apartment where the girl that open the doors looks like my grandma after she had 8 children. Photos on the internet are usually recent and not too retouched. Also, if you choose girl around 20 y.o. you can be sure that you won't have surprises once there, as a 40 y.o cannot write on the internet that she is around 20. Avoid the girl that write they are 30 y.o or more, as you can be sure that she will be at least 7/8 years older if not more.
7. At what time and when it's better to visit them? Lunch time and dinner time. Go there from 1 pm to 3 pm. Or around 8 pm. Italian men have to take their meals calmly and they cannot "bargain" it with an hour of sex. But the best option is to visit them when there are football matches. In that case you can be sure that all of the girls are free. Same thing just after the football match if local team looses. It's not a joke, many girls told me that during football matches there is no business.
So, I hope you will have a better experience next time you will come to Rome. In any case, it's always better to have a local guide when you go for sex in a foreign country.

I took one day off my business trip in Rome, I want just to report about it. If you do not want to read all this long report of my day, I summarize here the essential points:
Stay away from so-called “Club-Privee”, or “Nights Clubs” in Rome… Italy is no Germany or Holland. Beside very rare exceptions (of which I only heard about), you won’t have real action in these places. Just some chatting, dancing, that will be all. These places are basically rip-off.
Contacting a pro you read about in the net, may be not so easy as it looks. Best is to call them in the morning and try to reach their places quickly. Taxi can be an option. If they are cute (or at least if they look cute in their home pages !) they will be busy and difficult to reach; and even once you catch one and agree to meet, they might change their mind quickly. While you move to reach their place, they may be already busy with somebody else…do not expect professionalism in Rome.
So here starts my story. I landed in Rome at late evening, I used Airfrance and they lost my luggage. I spent two hours in the Fiumicino airport, discussing with the Alitalia staff (now it seems Airfrance is with Alitalia, I can’t tell which is worse here…) about my luggage, anyway this is another story.
I finally reached my friends office, they have a pretty nice aptm included in the offices and could stay there. In the very center of rome near Spagna square.
I was jetlagged and spent night browsing this forum and getting infos about Rome action. Next day was off for me, so I spent the night getting ready for a full day of action ! Well, that was the idea.
I soon realized that SW are the last resort; However, prostitution is NOT illegal in Italy, as long as you work for yourself. So the best are the girls who advertise in internet sites or newspapers. SW are generally foreigners and have immigration problems with Italian police, they are working for their local mafia. In other words prostitution in the streets it IS illegal in Italy. Ok, maybe it is tolerated in most places, but can be a risk for a foreigner who does not know the places and who does not have a “feel” of what is dangerous what is not. Stay safe, stay away from SW in Italy.
So I examined the Rome section of [url]www.puntorosso.net[/url] and [url]www.italiachiamami.com[/url]. I have to admit that many of the providers there looked rather bad-looking to me, anyway I selected few telephone numbers, the best four lets say, considering their look and their area.
After spending the night studying these girls sites, wsgforum and Rome map in [url]www.yahoo.it[/url], the next morning about 11 o’clock I went out with my list of telephone numbers. Of course if you are staying in a Hotel you can just call from your room.
I bought some years ago a portable phone in Italy, you can walk in a mobile shop pay 100 euro and walk out with a working phone in Italy. I used that to call the girls while I was strolling around in the center.
My list was Barbara (spanish), Valeria (Italian), Natalia (Bulgarian), and Hathsa (russian). These were the 4 numbers I had with me.
Called first Hathsa, she sounded very sweet, I spoke Italian with her, I have good command. It was clear she was Russian, everything sounded good, we agreed for “one hour 100 euro”, but when it was the moment to ask her where to go, it turned out she does only out-calls, I said I was at a friend place, she asked me to choose a hotel and she would reach me there, but I turned it down and called Valeria. She sounded Italian, for sure she speak very good English because she switched to English soon. She sounded a little irritable, it was not clear how much she wanted, she said 150 euro, then I negotiated to 100, but when I asked how long I can stay with her she said 300 euro for one hour… (!!) So I asked again how long would be my 100 euro and she sounded kind-of irritated by my questions… she sounded something like “well don’t you trust me ? With 100 euro you will be satisfied, that’s it, do not bother me with asking me all these details”… not so friendly. Anyway, I was horny enough to accept that, we agreed and I asked here where to go, she accept in-calls. She told me the underground stop where to get off and told me to call her again from there. Now listen to this: I asked her WHEN shall I reach her. She said “no problem any time is OK just call me from the metro stop, and I will tell you where to go”. Fine, everything was set !
It was about 11:30, her place is 45 minutes from the center, so I arrived there about 13:30, in order to give her time for lunch, everything stops in Italy at lunch time, so I though was polite to give her some time. Bad mistake. When I called from the Metro station, no answer. Ok, she could be busy for a moment, or could be with another customer. Wwent to a big mall area near there (it is called cinecitta’ mall), looking at shops and waiting. I was calling often and getting pissed off. No answer whatsoever.

However, after calling so often my mobile battery were dying out, I had to go back in the mall, bought a telephone card and called from a public phone. Around me was noisy (there is always noise around you in Rome), near the telephones there were old ladies chatting, it was a little embarrassing to negotiate with Natalia. Even if I was at the second floor of a mall, there was some loud constructions going on around me, I could not understand what Natalia was saying and vice versa, we spoke English then Italian then. Suddenly she just hunged-up !
Now I was really pissed off. It was about 16:00 now. I contacted three of the four girls I selected, but no success. My mobile was out of order, I was in the uninteresting outskirts of Rome, in a noisy uninteresting mall, rather horny and pissed off.
Never give up ! I remembered about Hathsa, the Russian girl I called first. I remembered she proposed to meet in a hotel in the center and she would reach me there. I went back to Rome center with the Metro. I was thinking to actually check out the price of hotels around there and maybe call Hatsa again. Pretty scary… however cheapest was 80 euro, I agreed with the clerk that I would stay only one hour and that I will have “my girlfriend”, looked fine, but I was tired, atmosphere looked uncool… I changed my mind and walked out. Was now about 17:00, went to an internet point nearby, checked out again puntorosso.net and italiachiamami sites. These places suck because people is walking around you and they can see your screen. However, I took some more number. Went out and called them… no chance, all “not reachable” or “answering machine is full” messages. Accordingly to these sites, the majority of girls operate during the day, up to 20:00 or so. So I guessed 17:00 was already pretty late.
Just went back to the office.
I had my evening with my friends, actually that was much better than the rest of the day. At 22:30 I was free again from them, I decided to visit one of the so called “Privee-Clubs” I found listed in this forum. The Pigalle, just because it is located very near where I was, in Viale Umilta’ 77.
Went there about 22:30. With my surprise, I didn’t pay anything at entrance, no girl inside, just opening time. The clerk there was very polite, I tried to ask about the activities there, he said that the place is basically a strip show club. You can talk and dance with the girls but that’s it. This is in disagreement with reports in wsgforum where Pigalle was listed among as Privee-Clubs, where action should be involved.
Some girls were coming in, and I began to chat with one of them, a Romanian called Sabrina, she was pretty nice. I was thinking the clerk could not tell all the truth because organized prostitution is prohibited in Italy, so I talked to the girl, but she confirmed that nothing happens in the club. The small “Privee” rooms (sort of) are for chatting, that’s it. She told me that often people ask for hand jobs or so, but they have to refuse. I guess in these bars you can convince a pro or semi-pro to go out with you, reach an hotel and have sex there… well… does not mean too much to me. Economically not for sure, every twenty minutes you talk with a girl is 20 euro and every drink is 10 euro (even if she doesn’t want to drink, every 20 minutes or so, a guy come and put a drink on her table. That’s on you. Even, a lady came and gave her sweets and cigarettes, then she asked ME 10 euro). This is how it works in these clubs, and time flies fast in there... I chatted with the Rumanian girl one hour, she chain-smoked on me, talked a lot and danced a little. After an hour I was out of there, 90 euro.
I really do not understand the meaning of these places. If you want to enjoy the evening you have to stay few hours, you are going to spend 100 euro per hour only to be there. Where is the fun, the nude show ? Chatting with the girls…? I don’t think so. If your goal is to get laid with a pro, you can find them anywhere else.
Anyway that was my day… sorry it was pretty uncool, but hope you find some useful info for your next trip in Rome. Nice town, pretty unique atmosphere, however for girls and related stuff I was not impressed.

It is in via Alba 49, named 'A lo Cubano'.
