Plenty of hotels which are gf. Easiest would be Sheraton. You can get to the lifts straight from the car park. Intercon and ramada you have to pass the lobby, but they are not going to ask you anything. Just walk by easily to the lifts.

Good to see some new developments here. Been living in Doha for long but never mongered here. Usually end up at Ramada for drinks with a sweet far eastern workmate.

I can't say whether the W is GF or not. But it didn't look like it to me! There are lots of hotel staff at the door and in the lobby ready to 'intercept' you before you get to the elevators. I heard Qube was the place to go, so went over there a few nights. It's a good 20 mins taxi from the W and you need your I'd to get in (you have to pay membership too). Qube is fairly quiet in the week but always has a few WG in there (most are PRC). They sit by themselves toward the back of the room, and its obvious. All you do is go have chat with them. Business is on a strictly outcall basis over at their apartment or wherever. I met a beautiful Chinese girl called Bin Bin. We had a dance where she got unnaturally close to me within seconds and got old Tommy going for a bit. She demanded QR1500 but later dropped to QR1000. I figured this was just to get me out of the place where she'd raise the price again! Call me cynical.
I reckon the hotels aren't Green in Doha. But let me know if you have some other expereiences.
W is or at least was last year girl friendly but it is best if you escort to you room. If she enters alone, she may not be able to gain elevator. Also the Wahm Bar won't allow single women in, at least those that the staff might categorized as WGs, I. E. Asian or Black I guess.
The Waterhole. 1F in Sheraton is surprisingly and openly GF. Usually 20 WGs most week nights however the quality thereof in my experience was more often than not enough to send me back to hotel alone. I did find occasional gem and when I did, would keep phone number for future use. When she rotated out of country or I got bored, I would go back to see who is on offer but it was hit & miss. As I was staying at the W, the effort to swing through and come out empty handed was not great. Entrance fee is charged, you need passport but you can pay for membership card (QR45 if my memory serves) which allows entry in future without passport or fee.
I had much better luck hitting up Filipinas in the Mall by the way. One was promoting cheese in Carrefour when I gave her my card with name & number. She called me 30 minutes later during her break and we had a date the next night. Enjoyed her company for several months with gift of QR500 per night. Others, I just walked up and introduced myself, asked if they had time for cup of coffee and that was usually enough to get things moving.
By the way, these comments were applicable a year ago and I have not been back so things may have changed but I doubt it. Too much money and too many expats coming into the country to suppress human nature.
No new reports since mine of 29 May! Guys, that is pathetic. Surely there is some action in Doha worthy of reporting and sharing. If not, then even more glad I find myself out of the ME. If they aren't paying you well, it is not worth it. There are much better parts of the world in which to work.

Judging by the level of activity (or rather inactivity) the Qatar forum is, I suppose there is only one way to find out about those checks you referenced. That's to go for it yourself and come back with a useful report.
Couple of advices: 1) play things safe and keep aware of hygiene issues 2) don't pay that much money. Offer 400-500 QAR no more. With so many babes in Qatar without their families and on such low pay levels and high rent levels, I say it's definitely a buyer's market. Even if you can afford, why not have double the fun for the same money.
